Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Hike Crew AC/DC R 12-volt portable propane water heater and showering system with this nice carrying bag. Now, this is gonna provide fresh water anytime you need it. It is ideal for car camping or times when your campsite's a short hike away. This portable water heater's gonna give you a handheld shower head and a faucet in the back here to enjoy hot water that'll keep you fresh and your dishes clean.
Now, it's gonna include everything we have laid out here on the table. It includes the water heater itself. Right here is the AC/DC adapter that'll plug in the back and supply with your AC/DC power. If you're gonna use 12-volt DC power, comes with the 12-volt DC adapter that you'll plug in for power. Comes with the gas regulator here and the gas regulator is designed to attach right in the very back here.
And everything is labeled on the back so you know where the connections are. This will go right onto the gas connection and then your portable canister will attach right to that. Also comes with a pump hose with a power adapter. We mentioned has a shower head attachment and a nice large carrying bag here. Very top, has a nice top carry handle that allow you to grip it and carry it around.
Weight on is only about 13.2 pounds. Now, I did wanna zoom in on the unit itself. The power, as we mentioned, must be supplied by either AC/DC with the adapter right here, we talked about, that you'll plug in on the back here. And you can also be supplied by 12-volt power source using this adapter here and along with the propane we talked about. Power consumption on this is 5.7 kilowatts per hour.
Fuel consumption, 14.5 ounces per hour. Now, this is a portable water heater. As we mentioned, it uses those disposable propane canisters to heat the water up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. On the very front, you'll see this nice simple LCD panel has an on-and-off button, pump control and water temperature status. Right up at the top here is the temperature control knob. It's easily located right on the top of the unit. It says, "Low to high," so you can just turn it to the temperature you need it at. On the inside, it includes a tilt switch, water flow sensor, and even fuse protection for added safety. Now, this is ideal for showering, washing dishes and even general hygiene. We mentioned the built-in faucet. Let me just show you the faucet right here. You can see it stores away from it and then you just swing it out to use it. Right underneath it, it has the flow control, the amount of water you need. And what's nice is that shower head we talked about will attach right here to the swivel faucet when it's being used. And on the shower head, it does have a on-and-off button for convenience. Operating water flows about 0.56 gallons per minute. Now, the water supply, you can use this pump right over here. This submerged pump has a filter in it. You'll drop it. Can drop it into a water jug or a 5-gallon bucket. It's filled from a water source. And then you can plug it in and you can power it. Right up here it says, "Water inlet." Just attach it here for the water to go in. Now, the dimensions on this unit, the height of it, bottom to the very top, is about 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and about 13 inches long. And as we mentioned, overall weight is only about 13.2 pounds. And again, has the nice carrying bag. Really nice, high-quality. And again, you can drop the unit in there. It has pockets on each end for all these accessories. And if there's anything extra, it does have a nice netting here that you can store it in also. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Hike Crew AC/DC R 12-volt portable propane water heater and showering system.
