Features to know about

Effortless Waste Management: Dual Valve Design

Managing waste from both black-water and gray-water tanks can be a hassle, but the dual valve system of the Valterra Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye makes it a breeze. With a 3" stationary hub for black-water and a 1-1/2" rotating hub for gray-water, you can easily connect both tanks to a single sewer hose. This seamless Y-configuration combines the waste flow, making the draining process smooth and efficient.

Simplify Installation: Rotating Hub Flexibility

Aligning plumbing connections precisely can be tricky, especially in tight RV spaces. The 1-1/2 inch rotating hub on the gray-water side provides flexibility during installation, allowing you to position the valve at the perfect angle. This thoughtful design ensures straightforward installation, even in cramped spots, making it ideal for DIY enthusiasts.

Built to Last: Robust ABS Plastic Construction

Durability is a must for RV components exposed to harsh conditions. The Valterra waste valve is crafted from sturdy ABS plastic, ensuring long-lasting performance. This tough material withstands the wear and tear of frequent use and exposure to various weather conditions, so you can rely on it trip after trip.

Seal It Right: Convenient Bayonet Cap

Prevent leakages with the built-in bayonet cap that fits securely over the 3" lug fitting. When not in use, the cap clicks into place, sealing off your sewer hose connection. An integrated strap keeps the cap connected to the valve, so it's always within reach when you need it.

Hassle-Free Maintenance: Easy Access Hands

Identifying which valve is which is crucial for proper maintenance. With distinct gray and black handles, you can easily differentiate between the two tanks. This simple yet effective feature saves time and prevents mistakes during draining, ensuring a smooth maintenance routine.

  • Replacement Double RV Waste Valve For a 2015 Nucamp 320s Camper
Unfortunately Chris, I have no way to see which parts are installed on your 2015 Nucamp 320s. These double RV waste valves only have a few different designs so you will want to try and match yours with one from the list below. # T38 # T18A # TR38A # T80 # 34466NDHR19AAA # TR38B # 34466ND14AAR # T18C # T80A

  • Replacement Dual Waste Valve for Coachman Freedom Express
Dual waste valves, such as the Valterra # TR38A, are nearly generic by nature. This one has the standard 1-1/2" gray water gate and standard 3" gate, and has a "Y" shape. You should also look at the Bristol # 34466ND13AAR Double Waste Valve that has more of a "T" shape, or the Valterra # T38. Compare what you have on your Freedom Express to these and one should be a match. Many of these connections will have been factory installed with solvent cement an will have to be cut off. • How to Merge Grey and Black Water Sewer Drains
The setup you have with two waste valves is going to require the tanks to be drained one at a time as they do not make a wye drain hose or wye camlock fitting for the Waste Master RV Sewer Hose part # LC359724. Typically, the point at which the black and grey water tanks merge for draining occurs at the valve with a sewer wye like the Double RV Waste Valve part # T38. I have attached a list of our sewer wye valves for you if you would like to change your setup so that the black and grey...

  • Comparing the Valterra Sewer Wye Part T38 and Part TR38
The Double RV Waste Valves part # T38 has rotating valves on both the black water 3" hub outlet and the grey water 1-1/2" hub outlet whereas the Double RV Waste Valves part # TR38 only has a rotating valve on the grey water 1-1/2" hub outlet.

  • Replacement Sewage Waste Valves In a 1999 Coachman
Great question. I can help you get what you need but I will need more information. Unlike vehicles RVs are not at universal and variations are common place. The best way to find out is to take a picture of your current waste valve and send it in a reply to this email, then I can help find the right one. The most common styles of waste valves are the following: Double RV Waste Valves - Sanitation Tee - Rotating - 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Spigot # T18C. Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye -...

  • Is there an Adapter that Fits a 3-3/4 Inch Threaded Sewer Outlet and has Bayonet Fittings
We do not have an adapter that is threaded on the inside to work with the sewer hose outlet that is threaded on the outside on your trailer. But what you could do is replace what you have with something like Double RV Waste Valves - Wye - 3" Fixed Hub and 1-1/2" Rotating Hub to 3" Lug Item # T38 in order to replace both the black and gray water valves.

  • RV Grey Water Fittings with 1-1/2-Inch Diameter
We do have RV grey water valves and related items with a 1-1/2-inch diameter fitting. All connectors and fittings with this diameter are shown on the linked page; a second page showing valves like # T38 and # T80 is linked too.

  • Is Sealant Required When Installing Valterra Fixed Y Double Valve
You need to use a sealant like our Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 to seal the connections when installing the # T38. Without doing that you most likely would get leaks. You current setup will be glued too so it would require you to break it loose.

  • Valterra Double RV Waste Valve Inner Diameter Dimensions
For the Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye - 3" Fixed Hub and 1-1/2" Rotating Hub # T38 the internal dimension of the black tank hub is 3.5" to allow for a 3" pipe to slide into it and the internal dimension of the gray water tank hub is 1-15/16" to allow for a 1-1/2" pipe to slide into. The bayonet end that has you would hook up a drain pipe to has a 3" inner diameter. To attach these hubs to their respective pipes you'll need some Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 as well.

  • Is Glue Used to Install the Valterra Fixed Y Double Valve T38
You will need to use a glue to attach the part # T38. The part is ABS plastic, so you could use an ABS sealant or glue. The glue is not included though. Part number # 0160297 will seal plastic parts and would work well for you.

  • Replacement Double RV Waste Valve for Older Travel Trailer
The Valterra # T38 Double RV Waste Valve isn't travel trailer or valve brand specific. As long as the existing black water drain is 3 inches and the gray water drain is 1-1/2 inches in diameter, the Valterra # T38 would be compatible. The ABS solvent cement is available separately as part # A05-0303.

  • What Is Needed To Drain Gray Water Tank With Bayonet Style Hose
I may have another option but there is not an adapter to replace your screw in cap. Your best bet to be able to empty your gray water tank with a bayonet type hose would be to use a waste valve like the Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye - 3" Fixed Hub and 1-1/2" Rotating Hub # T38 which will allow you to have your gray and black water drain from the same bayonet hose when you are at a full service camp site. This will require you to remove your old waste valves and will require Solvent...

  • Need Sewer Valve For 2003 Wilderness Trailer
Hello Kevin, thanks for reaching out. I can definitely point you in the right direction, but sewer valves are not custom fit, so there is no way to look up your trailer to know exactly what valve you need. Standard waste valves are a 3" diameter. If you are needing just a standard valve the # T50A is what I recommend. If you need a different style of size of valve just let me know and I am happy to look into it. If you want to reply to my email with a few pictures that will help a lot...

  • Can The Valterra Double Waste Valve Hub Replace Current Valves On A 2010 Coachmen Freedom Trailer
Yes, you could just simply swap out to the Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye - 3" Fixed Hub and 1-1/2" Rotating Hub # T38. You will probably find it is put together with some ABS solvent cement # A05-0303 which will require you to cut the old pipes. I recommend keeping the cut as close to the valve connection as possible and then you won't have to add on additional pipes to add length.
