Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV sewer drain extension. This extension brings your drain connection out from underneath your RV. That way you can easily get you drain hose connected. It's going to measure around 10 inches long. If we put a ruler up to it and measure from this lip right here to the end of the extension, that's where we're going to get our 10 inch mark from. The unit does not require any clamps. It's going to use bayonet style fittings for an easier, secure, hookup.
We have the four attachment points on this side. On this side, we're going to have the four hooks. It's going to feature the internal seals for leak proof performance. This is going to work with your standard three inch drain hoses and bayonet style fittings. Really nice design.
It's made from a durable, black, plastic construction. Last thing I want to mention is that right here on this end, what you can do is you can add an end cap to the unit that is sold separately. A lot of times those end caps will have a tether, that way you don't misplace or lose the cap. This extension does have the connection point located right here for that tether. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV sewer drain extension.

Being 70+ with arthritis in my back it was difficult to attach the waste hose to the trailer.
worked great! installation was simple and solved an irritating problem- no more crawling under the trailer and laying down in spilled sewage to drain the tank!
