Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Bristol Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tanks. This unit adds or replaces a valve for your RV's black water tank. It's made from a durable ABS plastic construction. It features a 3" diameter passage which allows wastewater to travel freely when the valve is open. The valve easily opens and closes with the V handle which is attached to a metal shaft, so you just put your hands in there and lift up on it, and you can see how that opens up the valve. Closes the same way.The V handle has the angled design to it which allows for an easier, more comfortable grip when using the handle.
It also features the appropriate seals to ensure leak-proof performance, and on each end we have the same connection point, so we have the 3" spigots which slides into sewer pipes. So the outer diameter is 3.5" and that's going to be the same for this side as well, so it's a 3" spigot and a 3" spigot with an outer diameter of 3.5". ABS solvent cement is required for installation and sold separately. You can find it at etrailer.com, and this product is made in the USA. That's going to do it for today's look at the Bristol Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tanks..

i plan to use these (6) shut-off valves for a dust collect system i'm building for my little workshop. They will all be mounted vertical-flow so as to minimize debris plugging the slider tracks. i've seen hours spent on online for DIY versions and just couldn't pass up the low cost of these simple cut-off valves that make too much sence. So, i'm happy with their smooth operation and compactness. Had other fittings shipped with these valves and everything came well packaged. Also, i couldn't help but notice the 'Hand Holes' at opposing side/corners of the box. How thoughtful. Made easy carrying for the UPS guys.
The valves are well constructed. Actually all I needed were the two spigot ends to repair a cracked discharge T pipe on my RV. I used the old valve bodies with the new spigot ends. Everything lined up perfect. That shows me that Bristol has very good manufacturing quality control.
I wish the handle was a little longer but no other complaints.
Works great
