This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 36" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.
When you're ready to dump your gray-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.
Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your gray-water tank, then flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.
This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 1-1/2" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

Cut open the underbelly, checked the valve and measured the cable. I contacted etrailer customer service to verify that the EZ 15 valve I had would be the same and it was.
I ordered the valve on Thursday and received it Saturday morning. Great shipping for USPS ( surprised) replaced today and new valve works great.
LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Gray Water Tank - Spigot to Hub - 36" Cable fit perfect and corrected the problem I had with the original cable (corrosion of shaft).
This is the OEM drop in replacement for my 2017 Grand Design Imagine 2600rb trailer. It comes with fittings to glue onto your pipes; I removed and discarded them; the flanges on the trailers piping exactly match this valve. I did find the screws that come with it are too short. They are 10x24 x 1.5" long. You need at least 2" screws and 2.25" would be best. I tried replacing this valve (due to me damaging it) with the Valterra valve (less $$) as I thought I could cut that cable to exact length thus making the pull smoother. That did not work out. I cannot get the allen set screw to hold the cable tight enough. So I am back to OEM as this cable does NOT separate from valve and the 36" cable is pretty much the exact length I need anyway. As a tip, replace this at same time as other valves so you can loosen all valves and it gives just enough slack in pipe to move out of the way and slide the new one in.
After 1 year of almost full time use i have had no issue with this valve.
Both valves matched up perfectly to the old valves in my 2008 Coachmen Chapparal trailer. Easier to install than I expected. Soooo nice to put water in the tank and have no leaks! One tip...put the seals onto the incoming/outgoing pipes before sliding the valve into place. Also, etrailer provides couplers on both sides of the valve. Those were easily removed and discarded and the valves fit perfectly into the existing pipe configuration. Love etrailer parts and support!

After 2 years probleme with my gray water tank valve on my travel traler micro mini Wenebago , its broke. Il take a look and it was a 6ft long cable and a few loop with the cable . Il need a 20 inch cable but il only find the 36 inch cable but just one loop and evry thing works grate after changing part. Very Happy.

This valve is designed for use with 1-12 inch diameter pipe for an RV gray water system.

A year out and over 3 months of actual use, and still working great. Valve operates better than the original during the same time period of use.
