Pull Cable for Easy Dumping

This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 36" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.

Pulling Valve Cable and Gray Handle

When you're ready to dump your gray-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.

Replacing Your RV Waste Valve

Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your gray-water tank, then flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.

This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 1-1/2" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

A year out and over 3 months of actual use, and still working great. Valve operates better than the original during the same time period of use.

This is the OEM drop in replacement for my 2017 Grand Design Imagine 2600rb trailer. It comes with fittings to glue onto your pipes; I removed and discarded them; the flanges on the trailers piping exactly match this valve. I did find the screws that come with it are too short. They are 10x24 x 1.5" long. You need at least 2" screws and 2.25" would be best. I tried replacing this valve (due to me damaging it) with the Valterra valve (less $$) as I thought I could cut that cable to exact length thus making the pull smoother. That did not work out. I cannot get the allen set screw to hold the cable tight enough. So I am back to OEM as this cable does NOT separate from valve and the 36" cable is pretty much the exact length I need anyway. As a tip, replace this at same time as other valves so you can loosen all valves and it gives just enough slack in pipe to move out of the way and slide the new one in.

Great product, works perfectly and shipping was very fast.

After 2 years probleme with my gray water tank valve on my travel traler micro mini Wenebago , its broke. Il take a look and it was a 6ft long cable and a few loop with the cable . Il need a 20 inch cable but il only find the 36 inch cable but just one loop and evry thing works grate after changing part. Very Happy.

by:

Both valves matched up perfectly to the old valves in my 2008 Coachmen Chapparal trailer. Easier to install than I expected. Soooo nice to put water in the tank and have no leaks! One tip...put the seals onto the incoming/outgoing pipes before sliding the valve into place. Also, etrailer provides couplers on both sides of the valve. Those were easily removed and discarded and the valves fit perfectly into the existing pipe configuration. Love etrailer parts and support!

by:

I received exactly what I ordered in a timely manner. Will be buying my TV parts for etrailer going forward

  • Is There A RV Waste Valve For Grey Water Tank That Has A 36 Inch Long Cable And Fits A 2 Inch Pipe?
The closest I was able to find to what you need for your 2" valve on your grey tank, is the: -LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Gray Water Tank # 34466N11AB36GM. This cable actuated waste valve is American made, has a 36" pull cable like you mentioned you needed, however, it is designed to work on 1-1/2" piping. I took a look, and we unfortunately do not carry a cable actuated waste valve for your grey tank that matches the 2" pipe you have, and has the 36" long cable...

  • How Does Cable Separate from RV Waste Valve
Take a look at the picture I have included. You can see that the cable is secured to the valve using a set screw. So you would loosen that, pull out the old cable, put in the new one, and tighten the set screw back down. If your valve is set up the same way then it can be done.

  • Can Cable on LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve be Shortened
You can definitely cut and reattach the handle on the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB96GMA, but since this has a 96" cable and you just need 24" I recommend going with part # 34466N11AB36GM instead which is the exact same part just with a 36" cable.

  • What Size is the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve and What is the Shortest it Comes
The LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB72GMA is going to have a 72" long cable. This will allow you to open and close the valve even if it's in a hard-to-reach place. The shortest that this comes is the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB36GM which has a 36" cable. This is also available in a 48" and 60". 48" - LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB48GMA 60" - LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB60GM

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valve for Gray-Water Tank
Unfortunately we don't have specifications like how far the pipe is from the edge of your travel trailer. But the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB36GM is designed to replace the waste valve from your travel trailers gray-water tank. It will fit on 1-1/2" pipe and has a 36" cable that you can mount in an easier to access location. You would need to use a solvent cement like the LaSalle Bristol ABS Solvent Cement # 3447530889 to secure the pipe in the valve.

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valves For A 2016 Winnebago Destination 37FL 5th Wheel
There unfortunately isn't a guide that tells us the length of the cables that were used in your Winnebago so you would have to trace the cables to determine the correct length needed. From Valterra we only have the 72" length, which you were already looking at with part # TC1372. With LaSalle Bristol we have a few different sizes so that you can get exactly what you need: Black 36" # 34466N4AB36GM 48" # 34466N4AB48GMA 72" # 34466N4AB72GMA 96" # 34466N4BB96GM 120" # 34466N4AB120GM Gray 36"...

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2012 Keystone Montana
I don't know the length of the cable used for valves on your Montana so you'll want to measure the length to determine the correct replacement. To make the swap out easy I recommend just unbolting the old valve from the system and then swap in the new valve (without the flanges it comes with). This will make it a much faster swap out and prevent you from having to cut or glue any pipes. I've listed the sizes we currently offer below by cable length: Black 36" # 34466N4AB36GM 48" # 34466N4AB48GMA 72"...

  • Replacement Cable Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2011 Keystone Montana High Country 5th Wheel
Determining the correct replacement for your old waste valves is going to depend on the brand and length of your current cables. If you have Valterra branded valves you could reuse the cables you have and avoid rerouting new cables. You could simply pick the least costly option for the black # TC372 and gray # TC172 valves and just hang onto the new cables. You can remove the four bolts holding your old valves in place and then swap in the new valves so you can void having to cut or glue...

  • Replacement Handle for Gray Water Dump Valve
If your gray water dump valve is a cable operated LaSalle Bristol # 34466N11AB36GM, # 34466N11AB48GMA, # 34466N11AB60GM, # 34466N11AB72GMA, # 34466N11AB96GMA, or # 34466N4AB96GMA, the correct replacement handle would be part # 34490CMA1G, which is the only replacement gray water tank dump valve handle for a cable operated valve we offer. If your valve is operated by a threaded rod and is a LaSalle Bristol model, the # 34466IHANDLEGRY you'd looked at would work well. If you can get the...

  • Adapter for 3 RV Gray Water Tank Opening to 1-1/2 Pipe and Waste Valve
From what I can gather it sounds to me like you need the Valterra Eccentric Tank Reducer - RV Gray Water - 3" Spigot to 1-1/2" Hub # T1041-1. The 3" Spigot mounts directly in the gray water tank outlet while the 1-1/2" Hub slides over sewer pipe. Then for a 1-1/2" diameter gray-water sewer pipe we have the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Gray Water Tank. This is valve is available in with cables that are numerous lengths, which I'll list for you so you can choose the...

  • Do Hub and Spigot Connections Need to be Cut Off to Swap Out Drain Valve
It depends on what type of waste valve you currently have. If you have a Valterra Bladex then you can replace the waste valve body with part # T1001VP for a 1-1/2" diameter or part # T1003VPM for a 3" diameter. If you have a different brand or you aren't able to swap out the valve body then you will need to replace it with the hub and spigot ends like part # 34466N11AB36GM or # 34466N4AB36GM respectively.
