The built-in rain shield on this manual roof vent protects the interior of your RV or camper from rainwater. The 4-speed fan provides efficient airflow inside your RV. Ceiling fan mode circulates air when vent is closed.

Note: Not for use above tubs, showers, or range cooking surfaces.
The MaxxFan Deluxe has a built-in rain shield that, along with the dome, surrounds and encloses the vent opening. The shield blocks rainwater and other precipitation from entering through the vent and damaging the interior of your RV or trailer. This means you can run the fan during any weather without having to worry about the consequences. With the rain shield, there is also no need to install a separate vent cover.
The white dome on the rain shield is constructed of durable high-density polypropylene. When it's closed, the dome provides a seamless, low-profile appearance.
The 12-volt, variable-speed fan operates in manual mode. You can choose from 4 different speeds to increase or reduce the airflow as needed.
This fan also exhausts stale air out of your RV. To enter ceiling fan mode, close the vent while the fan is still running. The fan then circulates the air inside your RV like a ceiling fan.
The fan has a fuse-protected, ball bearing motor that is sealed to keep out dust, dirt, and moisture.
The flush-mounted keypad on the vent enables you to operate the fan, including turning the fan on or off. You can also control the fan speed.
The dome on this roof vent is constructed of durable high-density polyethylene, and it is translucent so that some natural light can shine through. When it's closed, the dome provides a seamless, low-profile appearance that blends into the roof of your RV.
Unlike a dome that has only 1 arm, this manual-lift dome is supported by 2 sturdy arms so that it will not flutter during high winds or while you are driving.
And a manual hand knob is built into the underside of the vent to allow you to open and close the dome. Pull the knob outward, turn it to where you want it, and push it in to lock the dome into place.
This vent has a bug screen that helps keep insects and debris out of your RV. It is secured to the vent with 4 built-in retainer clips. These clips make it easy to remove the screen for cleaning or maintenance. Just rotate the clips, and the screen will pop out.
The MaxxFan Deluxe vent fits standard 14" x 14" openings in the roof of an RV, camper, or enclosed trailer. A white interior trim piece (or garnish), insulated electrical connectors, and hardware are included for installation. The included mounting flange is lined with a rubber weather seal, which helps prevent leaks. Roof sealant (sold separately) is required for installation.
To install, first secure the mounting flange to the roof. Then connect the two wires on the vent to your RV's electrical system. The black wire is for power, and the white wire is for ground. Next insert the vent into the flange and fasten it down using the metal mounting points on the flange. To finish, trim the garnish as needed to fit the thickness of your roof and install it.

Ceiling fan mode circulates air when vent is closed.Wow, wow, wow!! I really live this fan. It is so quiet and powerful. The installation was not that bad, just be carefull removing the old caulking, take your time. Highly recommended. 865118
Great fan, simple ,but does the job. Very effective at removing odors and circulating fresh air. Variable RPMs on fan blades make for low or higher battery draw when boondocking. I own higher tech Maxx Fan with handheld remote in my other RV, but that has been a problem. I'll take this one....that's reliable. 818546
Works great no complaint. Wish I had gone with the remote. 797826
Enjoy leaving vent open and not worrying about rain. Easy to install 783948
I do like the fan it works great I would have given it a 5 star but the fan itself does not spin true , it has a wobble as it turns Better quality control would have caught this it’s annoying looking at a fan that does not turn true . Outside of that it works fine 772120
I used this vent to replace the crank up vent in the galley area of my RV. I really like that I don't have to close the vent when traveling or when it's raining as I had to with the original vent. This thing is really tough too! It survived a very bad West Texas hail storm without any visible damage. I also love the low speed setting and how it just sips battery power when running. Great for getting some airflow in the RV at night when dry camping. 717293
Haven’t installed vent fan yet but my order was handled in a most efficient manner thanks Paula! I will shop etrailer again. 715895
Decent, motor starts to make noise after a few weekends. This is the second one I have bought. 697616
Figuring out how to tap into the battery power is the trickiest part, but once we figured that out, the rest of the installation is a piece of cake. The fan does a very nice job ventilating the van, it runs quietly, and it seems reasonably weatherproof. All in all, a must-have for any van you're planning on using as a camper. 679241
Exactly as ordered. 678014
Unit really pulls in air and help keep my trailer comfortable. It was easy to install. 674910
Works as advertised. Quiet at slower speeds, a bit noisier at higher. No rain leakage from cover. Was a bit hard to clean fan blade after some months of use as I didn't have a hex key to fit the set screw. Wish I'd got the remote control version, but was trying to keep things simple. For my Promaster install I got a custom plastic gasket online that made for a very tight seal with roof with minimum silicone gunk everywhere. 606940
ordered on sunday, shipped on monday installed on wednesday. doesn't get any better than this. thanks gwen for a great job of expediting. tom 596209
My Maxxair roof vent fan is the perfect appliance for ventilating the van I'm living in. It has four speeds which is sufficient for my needs as it is a small space. With the speed on the lowest setting it is totally silent and the attached vent cover keeps the rain out allowing me to keep it open at all times. This is my second van with this model fan and I could not find a better price for it than etrailer. 584646
On time in good pricing 579281
I used to have a Fan-tastic fan, but it leaked when partially opened and it was raining. So I upgraded to the MaxxFan 5301K. It is very low profile and streamlined, and the integrated rain shield is such a clever and useful feature. It fit exactly in the 14 " x 14" opening that I cut for my Fan-tastic fan, and it only took me an hour to change it out. I REALLY like this product! 576329
What can I say. I finally have my ceiling fans installed, front and back, With bathroom yet to do. etrailer is a very good company. They keep in touch. In a good way! So far they have GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT And as a bonus These max air fans are wonderful. I am sitting in Chula Vista, ca. It's 82 in my Motor home But the breeze these ten speed fans create is wonderful! Quiet, nice, too notch! Thanks Etrailer Thanks max air! Stephen 548736
The fan works great, very quiet and low power draw on the lower speeds, and on the higher speeds is quieter than the original fan while moving WAY more air. 544204
I don't have it installed yet. I just received the fan. But shipping was wonderful. And I am looking forward to the day it will be installed in the van. 542068
Good prices. FAST delivery! And I am was impressed with the email after my order that thanked me for my order and they knew how many times I have ordered. Then the follow up email asking my opinion. You folks are “on top of it!” Dave 525119
I used this fan to replace the cheap metal top fan in the bathroom of my class c. I used this 4 speed model because it's only going to be used to remove damp air when taking a shower. Installation is straight forward. I like the fact that it can be left open in the rain with out any problems. I needs to come with self tapping screws as most rv's have a metal frame around the opening and I had to use an old self tapping screw to drill holes in order to use the included screws to install on roof. 515097
I just got the MAXX AIR exhaust fan put in yesterday. All I can say is that if a non handyman as myself can put it in and it actually worked it must be simple... It moves a tremendous amount of air. It did take a bit of time to actually get it. 506045
I got great service on the phone. And got the product in a timely manner. Everything is great on my end. I would buy from etrailer again. 494947
Received in a timely manner. etrailer always great to deal with. Great updates on shipping. 424832
Had hoped it would be "whisper quiet" but does move the air. Hope the "rain proof" advertising about this fan proves out. Now how long will it last? 422675
