Thermostat-controlled roof vent uses a variable-speed, reversible, 12-volt fan to push stale air out of and pull fresh air into your RV, camper, or enclosed trailer. Easy-to-use hand knob on vent housing allows you to lift and lower dome.

Specs:
This Fan-Tastic Vent roof vent has a built-in 12V fan that uses a thermostat to help maintain an even temperature inside your RV, camper, or enclosed trailer. The fan can also be controlled manually with the built-in hand knob or with the controls on the vent housing.
Air out your RV after cooking or just draw in some fresh air while you sleep. This variable-speed ceiling fan operates in 2 modes: manual and automatic. To activate the fan you can either turn the speed knob to the desired setting or you can simply activate the in/out switch, which will cause air to be pulled into your trailer or pushed out of it.
To use the fan, you must first manually open the dome by turning the hand knob. The dome must be left open while the fan is set in automatic mode.
When using the automatic mode, you can preset the fan to maintain a desired temperature inside your RV. The thermostat dial shows a range of temperature settings that are color-coded from dark blue to dark red. The fan's internal thermostat will sense the actual room temperature, and the fan will run until the preset temperature is achieved. When the temperature rises above the preset temperature, the fan will automatically kick on again. So when you go out, you don't have to waste energy by leaving the vent running at full blast just to ensure that your RV is cool when you return. And because the fan will activate anytime that the preset temperature is reached, you can set up the system to ensure that your pets remain comfortable while you're out.
To control the fan manually, turn the speed knob on the vent housing. There are 3 speeds: low, medium, and high. There is also an off position.
This vent requires a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening in your trailer's roof and ceiling. To replace an old vent, install this vent into the existing opening. If your roof does not already have a vent, you will need to mark and cut an opening between roof joists to install this unit. And the 2-wire design makes it easy to have your vent hooked up and ready for use.

Had it with my last fan and hear other people complaining about the same issue. When you go down the road the screw that holds the crank handle vibrates loose and the crank handle and screw fall to the floor. I lost the screw on a long trip and had to stop at an rv dealer for a replacement. Sounds trivial but its a dumb little problem they need to fix. Otherwise the rating would be 5* 521301
This vent has performed flawlessly! 860068
This is a great, simple, fan, though not quite quiet enough for a teardrop build. Even on the lowest setting it is pretty loud and my wife declared it to be too loud for our trailer. We ended up sending this one back and spending more on the remote controlled one with something like 11 speeds. It is much, much quieter on the lowest setting and is currently on our build. I really loved the simplicity of this fan, but noise was a factor in our decision and this one is just a bit too loud. 802358
We have had these fans running for hours. They have worked beautifully and saved us from the heat. The ventilation they create is great. I would recommend having two fans, one intake and one out take. I would buy them again. 801340
Fast delivery, good condition, quality products, can't say enough. Highly recommend them. 794059
I added two more of these to my Class A, replacing old ineffective vents with fans. The price, quality and shipping speed from eTrailer is outstanding. Packing was perfect and as always from eTrailer, installation instructions were clear. 793732

Very pleased with unit. Works great 692747
The fan is fairly quiet on high. Very smooth operation and moves a good amount of air. I am very happy with the purchase. Installation was easy and it seems well made. 683847
The fan blades were what I expected....had to drill shaft hole a bit bigger (0.116") and cut plastic mounting shaft shorter by 0.161", but they work perfectly now with old long motor. Tomorrow I tackle installing the new fantastic fan. I am very impressed with etrailer's service!! Thanks, I need as much time to get stuff done as possible!. I 682977

I haven't installed the vent yet, but it looks to be great quality. It was delivered in just a few days. Great job! 614998
Excellent fan. 3 speeds, blows in or out. Quiet and cleans out smells after driving, very quickly. Happy, Happy, Happy! 613234
Quieter and more effective than the original. We use it as an 'attic fan' in milder weather or when cooling down the RV. It shuts itself off when the Colorado evenings cool quickly. 584013
I love my new fan! It is great for keeping fresh air circulation in my truck camper. I live in my camper full time so it is getting used regularly and I just can’t say enough good things about it. Installation was a snap. I actually did it up in the mountains. The night before, it rained hard all night and I experienced several leaks that night. Next morning I installed the new fan and of course stopped the leaks. I highly recommend it. 575109
This is a well made USA product that I am proud to own. The install went very smoothly. I like dealing with Etrailer. 571311
Good product 569300
Not too happy with the product, we installed the fan approx 9 months ago and soon after with only minimal use the black plastic knob that opens the lid stripped and now I have to use a phillips screw driver to open and close the lid until I get a replacement part. 569221
Works great, easy install. 568052
Delivered on time. Just what we needed. Thanks for the fine service. 565520
works great. Scared me once when it would not go on but after some checks found the temperature switch was set to hot so no fan cause it was cool out and I was going for air flow to stop condensation. 527133
