Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers

Worried about the tires on your fifth wheel dry rotting in the intense desert sun during a long camping trip? Or perhaps you're storing a boat trailer in the northeast, and you're concerned about your wheels rusting after a series of snowstorms? These durable covers protect the tire-and-wheel assemblies from dust, dirt, and the elements while your RV, camper, or trailer is parked or stored for an extended period of time. By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.

This heavy-duty vinyl material is water repellent and UV repellent, so it'll hold up against rain showers, snow flurries, and heat waves during storage. The covers are reinforced with double-needle stitching and overlapping seams for extra durability, so it won't rip easily. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.

Making Sure the Covers Will Fit Your Tires

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Dimensional Diagram

These tire-and-wheel covers are designed to fit 18" - 22" diameter assemblies with one of the following tire sizes:

  • 5.30 x 12
  • 5.70 x 8
  • 20.0 x 8 x 10
  • 20.5 x 8 x 10

Securing the Covers onto Your Tire-and-Wheel Assemblies

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Bungee Cords

These covers are quick and easy to install. If you have larger tire-and-wheel assemblies, it's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily. Once the covers are in place on your tires, thread bungee cords through the built-in grommets on the back and pull tight to remove any excess slack in the material. These bungee cords prevent the covers from flapping in the wind, and the soft interior lining won't damage your wheels' paint job.

Its being used on my daughters travel trailer. It is still in very good shape doing its job protecting the spare tire.

by:

So far so good, just installed will see how they withstand the winter. Ver pleased with the quality and fit.

by:

Good product! Good service!

by:

Perfect replacement for many years old set. Bungee-ball cords to fasten in back were too long (probably standard for all covers), so loop tie shortened cords to desired tension length.

Worked well through last winter and into summer before removal. Now back on for winter and spring, and doing fine.

Upon receipt of my camping trailer tire/ wheel covers I was immediately impressed. They appear to be well made and of ample size to cover not only the tire sidewall, but also the tire tread. The grommets and the elastic cords, in addition to the elastic sewn into the cover, complete a great and secure fit. The southern Utah sun can and does take its toll on tires. Blowouts can and do occur from sun cracked sidewalls. These covers give me the protection to prevent such occurrence at a reasonable price.

by:

The covers fit my 1972 Snowco tilt trailer's 570x8 tires better than the 480x12's on my boat trailer. Seem to be good quality and will keep the sun off of them and protect the tires. Need to make concrete wheel pads to keep the pretty covers out of the dirt.

by:

Fit is great will protect from weather

by:

Durable, look good. I'd purchase again. This is probably the 4th time I've ordered items from eTrailer, and I'm always impressed with their service and products. They have earned my trust.

by:

I have really liked this so far. It was easy to install and seems to be holding up really well. It seems as if my trailer was on the small size of the fit for this cover but it works great. New Mexico is very dry and I was concerned about durability. It is holding up well.

by:

Perfect fit for my tow dolly. Thank you

Very pleased with this product. So far so good. Nice and thick. Being that it's wheel covers, only time will tell how long they will stand up to mother nature.

I have tire covers from other suppliers and always found that the sizes varied. The Adco covers from etrailer fit perfectly.
p.s. etrailer is the BEST !

by:

Great product, even better customer service support

by:

Good Quality product, will purchase again as needed.

by:

The covers themselves seem to be well designed, however they are a poor/very hard fit even though they are the size recommended for the tires. Hope over time they will stretch to fit better.

by:

Great product fix great

by:

The bungy tie keeps the covers on so the wind does not take them away. Easy to install and remove.

by:

Order was taken easily, Filled correctly and received in good condition. Always can depend on them.

  • What Colors of Adco Tyre Guard RV Wheel Covers do You Carry for 18 to 22 and 24 to 26 Tires?
From your recent searches, I believe you are referring to either the tan Adco Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers - Designer Series - 18" to 22" # 290-3965 or the Adco Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers - Designer Series - 24" to 26" # 290-3964. If you are referring to these wheel covers, we do carry different colors. However, the other colors are only available in sets of 2. For the 18" - 22" covers: - Black # 290-3975 (vinyl) - White # 290-3955 (vinyl) - Camo # 290-3655 (thermoplastic) - Diamond plate...

  • Tire Cover Recommendation For 20 x 10 Inch Tires
Yes, the CE Smith Spare Tire Cover # CE27410 you mentioned, will fit your 20x10 tire, however this is just a single spare tire cover, if you are needing two covers, the Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Tire Covers for 18" to 22" Tires # 290-3955 is a great option, and also will fit your tires.

  • Suggestion to Stop 205/65-10 Load Range E Tires From Cracking
I can imagine it is getting quite aggravating to have to change your load range E 205/65-10 bias tires like the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1HP56, but as you said, these are bias tires, and that is the only type available for 10 inch tires. In regards to Kenda tires, if you are not familiar with them, the Kenda brand is recognized as being very high quality. Our customers who have them have rated them over 1,500 times (as of this writing) and given them a nearly 5-star rating,...

  • Tire Covers for 18.5 x 8.5 Tires on Snowmobile Trailer
Your tires should be 18.5 x 8.5 - 8 tires, which means they are on 8" wheels. If so, that is the same as a 216/60-8 tire which measures 18.2" in diameter. The tire covers I recommend for you are the Adco Tyre Gard # 290-3975, which fit 18" - 22" tires and simply slip over them while using bungee cords to tighten and secure the covers. They are made of water-repellent vinyl and come in black or white with part # 290-3955. I've added links to video reviews of these covers for you to check out.

  • What is the Correct Size Wheel Cover for a 275/70-R19.5 Tire
The 275/70-R19.5 tires your customer has have an overall diameter of 34.7". This will need to be the measurement you use to determine the correct size wheel cover. With that being said, the Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers part # 290-3955 are designed to fit a tire with an overall diameter of 18"-22" therefore will not work for you. Instead, I recommend using the Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers part # 290-3951 which are designed to fit a tire with an overall diameter of 33"-35". I...

  • Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire - 5.70-8 - Load Range D Life Expectancy
What's really interesting about this question is that typically trailer tires don't wear out due to mileage and instead they need replacement due to age. Usually a trailer tire is good for 4 to 6 years before it starts dry rotting and needing replaced. As tires age beyond that they will start to leak and also be more likely to fail in other ways. In nearly every trailer tire situation the treads themselves do not wear out before they age out so with the # AM10010 you'd be good for 4 to...

  • Choosing Trailer Tire Load Range & How to Best Protect Trailer Tires from Blowout Failures
The advantage to using a higher load range tire than you actually need for the loaded trailer weight is that this tends to reduce the tires' operating temperature. Any tire's worst enemy is heat and a tire operated near or at its maximum weight rating will naturally run hotter than one that is operated at perhaps 75% of its capacity. Since safety margin is never a bad thing, I do suggest staying with your current load range since it really has no down side. The price difference between...

  • How to Get the Most Out of Your Trailer Tires
We have just what you are looking for. Although we do have load range D tires in the 5.30-12 size they are bias as opposed to radial in style. Bias tires are meant more for off-road purposes like agriculture whereas the radial tires have a sidewall with more flex that can better dissipate the heat build-up than bias can. I recommend going with the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT53012C. It has a load range of C (Maximum load: 1,050 lbs at 80 psi), a max speed rating of 81 mph,...
