Viewing Distance

Because of the limited space available in RVs, it can be difficult to determine the size of TV to purchase that, when mounted, will be seen clearly and without distortion. A good rule of thumb is to measure the TV's screen size (diagonally) and multiply that number by a range of 1.5 to 2.5. The table below shows the best minimum and maximum viewing distance from each TV size, in inches and feet.

Since this TV has a 32" screen, you will want to make sure that the space between where you will mount the TV and where you sit to watch it is between 4 feet and 6 feet 8.4 inches. At this distance, the TV picture quality will appear crisp and clear.

VESA Mounting Pattern

The VESA standard refers to the pattern of the mounting holes on the back of the TV. The holes are placed specifically for the purpose of indicating which mounting bracket to buy for that TV. The pattern is determined by measuring in millimeters from the center of one mounting hole to the center of the next mounting hole horizontally and then vertically.
