Image Descriptor

Say goodbye to small camp stoves and limited cooking capacity. This RV oven lets you bake, broil, or roast many of the same meals on the road as you can in your home oven. Because wall ovens are usually installed at a higher level, it's also easier to access compared to traditional RV ovens located closer to the floor. This reduces the risk of accidents, especially when handling hot dishes or heavy pans.

With a stainless steel and black enamel exterior, cleanup is easy and looks good in just about any RV kitchen space. This also helps make your RV more desirable should you decide to sell it later down the road.

Easy to Ignite and Safe to Use

Image Descriptor

This oven runs on propane, which is available at most campgrounds and fuel stops. Propane cooking is great for off-grid trips as it is highly efficient, consumes minimal energy, and produces little smoke during cooking. This oven is also equipped with safety features to help avoid fires. If the flame does not light or the flame goes out, the shut-off valve automatically stops any additional gas from leaking out and filling your living space, and the LP regulator prevents high surges of gas from coming through the line, which could cause a ruptured hose or fire.

The pulse ignition knob on this range is very easy to use. After the oven knob is turned to the flame setting, the ignition knob is turned clockwise until you hear a click. If the burner does not light on the first click, you must do it again until you see the flame.

Image Descriptor

The bright LED indicators on each knob change colors when turned to the on or off position. When the knobs are red, the gas is on and flowing. When the knobs are blue, everything is off. That way you don't have to worry about the gas being accidentally left on.

We were looking for an LP oven to install in our small kitchen in our vacation home. The price affordable. The timer is silly but provides visual symmetry. Tho, the worst, the temperature fluctuations are incredibly frustrating! It's impossible to hold the recommended temp so I have to watch it like a hawk during operation. I wouldn't suggest baking anything complicated (like a cake or whole chicken) in this oven.
However, for simple tasks it's alright but just don't expect the performance of a standard oven.
Note here: I've read suggestions placing a pizza stone in it may help stabilize the temperature but I've yet to try. We'll see.

I contacted the manufacturer about the issues with heat level. They said that gas ovens tend to have a temperature difference as the gas flame regulates the heat. The gas ovens are calibrated at standard sea level so location and weather conditions can affect the ovens performance in RVs. CAD and UL standards for RV Gas Ovens allow a temp variance of 10 degrees for every 100 that the oven is set to. For example, if the oven is set to 400 degrees, the variance would be 40 allowing a range of 360-440 degrees which is in specs. If you are having more issues than this, we would like to know about them.

  • Replacement Oven Door Needed for Furrion RV Oven
We do have replacement Furrion oven doors available. If you have the 17 inch tall oven door you'd need the part # 715326 for black, part # FR52FR for stainless steel, or part # FR79ZR for 21 inch stainless steel, or part # FR66NR for 21 inch black.

  • Troubleshooting Oven Temperature in 2019 Jayco North Point
The Furrion RV Wall Oven with LED Knobs - Gas - Stainless Steel # FSRD22LASS should absolutely function at the correct temperature. It sounds like your oven has a bad thermostat versus a bad knob since you mentioned the temp won't stabilize when you are using a thermometer like # A10-3200VP. If it were just a bad reading on the knob it would still stabilize. I recommend going to the dealer you bought from as that should be covered under your warranty on your new 5th wheel trailer. They...

  • Troubleshooting A Furrion RV Wall Oven That Won't Stay Lit
If your Furrion Propane RV Built-in Wall Oven # FSRD22LASS is having problems lighting or staying lit then there are a few things that you can check. The first being that you gas bottles are full and that all valves are fully open. A manometer can be used to check the gas pressure getting to the oven to ensure that it's receiving at least 10" WC. If not, you'll need to check/replace the regulator. From there you can check the placement of the thermocouple compared to the pilot light....

  • Operation Steps for Starting the Furrion RV Wall Oven
Please review the below instructions from the attached Manual from the Furrion RV Wall Oven, # FSRD22LASS. 1. Before lighting, reset gas control knobs to the OFF position. 2. Check that the main inlet gas valve is OPEN. 3. Keep the oven door in the open position for the full ignition process to view the pilot and burner until lit. 4. Push and turn the gas control knob counterclockwise to position until pilot lights. (you will hear a small clicking noise.) 5. If ignition does not occur...

  • Troubleshooting Pilot Light of Furrion RV Oven that won't Stay Lit
Pilot lights generally don't just blow themselves out unless there's an issue. Do you have anything else running off LP that is functioning correctly? Typically what you are seeing is the flame is set too low, low gas pressure, or a bad gas control valve.

  • Pilot Light Will Not Stay Lit on Furrion Wall Oven # FSRD22LASS, How Do I Fix It?
I spoke to Furrion about your RV Wall Oven # FSRD22LASS and they informed me that there is no replacement thermocouple. I was instructed that if your pilot light will not stay lit that you would have to replace the entire oven as there are no replacement parts for the pilot light.

  • Can A Propane Oven Be Replaced With An Electric Oven?
Hello Dawnyel, thanks for reaching out. A propane oven is going to be your best bet if you need something to fit in the same space. Electric ovens are generally much larger than the propane units that are intended for RVs. We only sell propane ovens like the Furrion # FR97KR which is 21-1/2" wide x 20" tall x 21-1/2" deep overall. We are not aware of any electric equivalent for this oven, so sticking with propane will be the best option.

The inside dimensions of the Furrion Oven part # FSRD22LASS are 18-3/4 inch wide, 11-5/8 inches tall, and 15-1/4 inches deep. That would be enough info to let you know if your dish would fit.

  • Solution for Replacement Wall Oven With Width of 21"
I believe you're talking about the Furrion Propane RV Built-in Wall Oven # FSRD22LASS. This is 20-11/16" tall but the width is more than you can fit at 24-3/4" wide. These are the same dimensions as the Furrion Electric RV Built-in Wall Oven # FR74PR. We don't offer any other wall ovens and I don't know of any that will fit that space. I know you don't want to cut the brick or rework the space for a larger opening but if you want a new wall oven that is likely the only solution. Outside...

  • Does the Fan on the Furrion RV Wall Oven with LED Knobs Run All the Time
I took a look at the instructions for the Furrion RV Wall Oven with LED Knobs part # FSRD22LASS and it states that the oven fan will run at all times while the oven is on and will continue for about 10-15 minutes after turned off. If you feel the oven fan is working outside of these parameters then you will need to reach out to Furrion directly for a warranty or repair claim.

  • Does The Furrion Oven FSRD22LASS Have Elevation Limitations
The Furrion Ovens like the # FSRD22LASS do not have any elevation limitations. It is certainly not normal for it to run fine, then shut off after two minutes. I recommend starting your oven and letting it run. When you shuts off check to see if you can still smell gas. If you can still smell gas, It is likely that something is wrong with the internal regulator. If you do not smell gas then something is likely activating the auto shut off. This could be due to a lack of pressure which...

  • Can Digital Display on Furrion Propane RV Built-in Wall Oven Be Replaced
Thanks for reaching out, Vincent! We unfortunately don't have a replacement for the digital display on your Furrion Propane RV Built-in Wall Oven # FSRD22LASS, and if Lippert wasn't able to help you out then I'm afraid nobody will be able to since Lippert/Furrion is the manufacturer. • Why Does My Furrion Oven Make A Whining Noise At Startup
The lubrication of the bearing for the fan can wear off and become uneven, causing the fan to become very noisy until it spins enough to spread the lubrication around again. You can try reaching out to Furrion for a fix but you'd likely be told it's just something you'll have to live with since you'd have to dismantle the oven to get to the fan and dismantling the unit would void any manufacturer warranties.
