Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this 3-Piece Exterior RV Step Rug Set. This set is going to give you three of these 22 inch wide rugs that will wrap around your RV's steps, whether they're straight steps or curved, and whether your system is a manual or an electric setup. These are gonna provide a nice surface for you to wipe your feet as you're going up into your RV, so that you can keep that dirt outside and you won't be tracking that dirt into your RV, so you won't need to clean your RV's floors as frequently. Now these are a rugged style by a Fit-O-Matic that are going to have these deep grooves in there. So you can see on the sides here, those deep treads are going to help create kind of a flicking motion so that you can help get those chunks of dirt and mud off easier.

And it is really nice and soft too. So even if you're barefoot it should be very comfortable to walk up and down these steps, and it will provide plenty of traction for you as well as you're going in, even if it's rainy out and steps would tend to be slick ordinarily, this is going to give you a nice a bit of traction there so you can get in and out safely. You can see this as a charcoal black color. So it's going to hide that dirt really well. You're not going to have to worry about obvious dirt stains on there.

Like you would with a brighter color. These are going to do a nice job and still look really nice for you because of that dark color but also it's got some of that lighter charcoal gray to it, kind of give you a variety. These are very durable, they're outdoor carpets so they are designed to handle your weather and that sort of thing. They're resistant to mold and mildew. They're also going to hold up to UV rays, resist UV damage.

They are extremely easy to clean. Basically just have to hose them off and let them air-dry and they'll be good to go. And another benefit to these is that they are a nice solid design. So if you do have pets, sometimes they're intimidated from walking up and down your steps because they can see through them, through the holes in the step. So having this in place is going to make that a nice solid surface so that they'll have a little bit more confidence to go in and out on their own.

As far as installation goes, it's extremely simple. You can see we've got the four springs on the bottom of each step. Those springs will hold the two pieces together and you can see we've got four different grommet holes here. This is to accommodate different depth steps. So it will accommodate from eight inches all the way up to 11 inches in total depth. So depending on which, how deep your step is you'll just attach that to the appropriate grommet there and then get that spring attached to up to the top. If I take all these, disconnect, all these springs for you so you can see the underside, you'll see we do have these adhesive backed hook-and-loop strips here. So the first time you install this you'll get the adhesive, pull back that adhesive backing, stick that to your step and that will give you that connection point there. Those hook-and-loop strips are going to provide even more security, a more secure connection for us to make sure that the rug isn't going to move around, wiggle at all on our step. So those are going to be nice for us. And then the one on the front here is also going to help us to line up our rug. If we we're to ever take it off, we can find center again because that strip will already be stuck to the front of the step. So very nice way of keeping everything engaged, the springs do a great job. These are an extra benefit to make sure that it's really going to be in place. You can see this does have a textured rubberish material on the backside. So that's going to give us a little bit of connection there as well so we're really not going to have to worry about these steps, rugs, moving around on your step at all. And then when you're ready to re-install it you'll just line that hook-and-loop strip up with the front and then wrap around from the backside here, then once you make sure that you're getting it on the tightest option for your setup and just hooking it in place. Obviously you'll want to do that for the other three as well but I'm just going to do that one for now, just for demonstration purposes. Overall, this is a really nice set for you. We do have other options available here at etrailer.com, different colors, different textures. So depending on what you're looking for we should have something to meet your needs and tastes but this is a really nice style. I like the dark color, I think it looks really nice and I think this is not only going to be a good option for cleaning off your feet as you're going in but it's also going to be nice and soft. I like to go barefoot frequently, so some of the other options that are more of a turf style, they're more abrasive, not as comfortable on your feet but this is going to do a good job of keeping, giving you a place to wipe off your feet but also it's going to be nice and comfortable for you.
