The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the already existing mounting holes. Hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tile caulk (not included) is required.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix faucets 4" dual handle RV shower valve. This unit adds or replaces a shower valve in your RV. It's going to feature the dual, clear acrylic knobs that gives the unit a really nice look. It's also going to feature the vacuum breaker for attaching the hand-held shower. Hand-held shower is not included. We do offer those separately here at etrailer.com.
The unit's also designed to prevent water backflow which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. The unit's made from a durable, plastic construction, and the base has a really good looking chrome finish. The mounting area's going to require two holes for your installation. These connectors are for the hot and cold water lines. They're separated on center by about 4". The length of those connectors measures 2" long.
It's going to come with that plastic backplate, and it's going to come with the plastic mounting nuts as well. The outer diameter on those connectors is 13/16" with an inner diameter of 1/2". The shower hose connector has an outer diameter of 13/16". If we take a look at the overall length, measuring edge to edge, the unit's going to give us a measurement of about 6 1/4". Right here at the base it's going to be about 2 1/8" and then from the back of the plate, or from the mounting area, to the furthest outpoint is going to give us a depth of about 3".
It's got a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute. It's made in USA and IAPMO certified. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix faucets 4" dual handle RV shower valve. .

worked perfectly....corrected problem with old piece having leak from cracked attachment.
Great replacement and in chrome. I am replacing an outside faucet to my 5th wheel RV which sprang a leak on the threads for hot/cold. I must not have winterize very well. Very happy with the quick delivery and cost.
John S - 09/29/2020Well first a review of the etrailer website, it is fantastic. I needed a faucet that had a 2 inch threaded base not the standard 1.5 and no other site had the spec's, etrailer did. The faucet was just what i needed three minute install on a one day job and poof the shower in my 97 popup was back to work.
Works fine. I had to notch out the round access panel for shower hose to fit on. Previous owner or manufacturer installed upside down to get it to work but the valve operation was not correct. Left-on, right-off is correct operation.
Exact replacement. Had no problems replacing it. Working well.
This faucet was exactly as displayed on their website. I had no trouble replacing my old faucet with this one. Service was excellent and it arrived earlier than promised.

We recieved this product yesterday and just installed it. I cannot comment on its longevity due to that, but after using it, I gotta say it is a definite improvement to the factory install in our camper, both in looks AND function. Also, we upgraded our shower head to Oxygenics Body Spa and the brushed nickel of this faucet matches the brushed nickel shower head PERFECTLY! Very happy with this.

I love, love, love the look of this shower faucet. You need to buy a separate shower head and hose kit. It really updates the look of our shower! It did take some work to install and a trip to a local RV store, but looks amazing and works great!

This brass faucet assembly was a very nice upgrade for the outdoor shower on our Viking tent trailer. The original cracked with an earlier than expected overnight freeze (17°) in Denver. With brass valves instead of plastic, the coupler assembly is sturdier, and the valves perform very smoothly. We replaced the hose with a longer stainless steel and a Fury showerhead to complete a nice upgrade. I highly recommend this item for inside or outside the trailer.

We ordered a bronze faucet with a shower diverter. I had a hard time finding an oil rubbed bronze faucet that I liked. We've slowly been updating our fixtures, and this was a great choice! I originally bought a cheaper shower faucet from etrailer, but it was so unbelievably cheesy that I sent it back and bought this one. This has a brass valve body instead of plastic like the first one. I reversed the valve caps (hot and cold) so I could point the hose bib down which worked better for my setup. The valves are kind of rubbery feeling instead of a solid shutoff but it works.

Quality (brass) is there for the long haul, old school tech used (replaceable rubber washers) Much better than plastic faucets that last a few years and then become brittle and hard to turn handles. Very pleased!
