The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the already existing mounting holes. Hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tile caulk (not included) is required.

This valve assembly installed with little problem. Valve still works in our RV camper. Flow rate was fine, shower head gives us average pressure, I would recommend this valve. Price was good.

The customer service and shipping department were above par, which is 5-stars. The above rating is for the shower components. Though they look good, the water flow restriction is pretty serious. Which could be a good thing if you frequently dry-camp but not so much when you are mostly visiting RV parks or when the wife washes her hair : ( For the individuals that would remove the restricters to improve the flow, be cautious. Yes, it works but it is not as straight forward as you may think. It is more involved than just removing them. And messing-up would be an expensive lesson!!! Just sayin'.

The vacuum breaker on my 2006 Prowler Lynx went bad and continually leaked when pressure was on, After looking for a replacement part and not being able to find one, this shower vlave, being 4" from inlet to inlet was a perfect fit and everything hooked right up.

A lot better quality than I was expecting the photos on this website make it look very flimsy all the plastic is quite rigid I'm surprised how strong the small pieces are mine doesn't have the etrailer logo instead it's got a WMF logo (on the bottom) it's has larger knobs and has a better feel than my old one and the H & C on the handles are lined up perfectly when off took about a week for shipping with the cheapest option have to buy the hose nd head separate I feel they should sell them together as one part too but it was shipped in the same box if you have a trailer and you need this part and can't find it in a store just like me definitely purchase this product
