This bathtub will replace your old, cracking tub so you can take a relaxing soak after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, a razor, and other toiletries on the flat outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're bathing. Should you want to take a shower instead of a bath, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the tub and causing water damage to the wall.
This bathtub easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV tub or shower pan with a front drain hole setup. Mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the bathtub in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the bathtub so it won't crack over time, and it'll dampen the sound of the tub filling up with water. Once the bathtub has been installed, it is compatible with any standard 2" drain strainers.

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Better Bath 38 inch long by 24 inch wide center drain RV bathtub in the parchment color. This bathtub will replace or upgrade the existing bathtub or shower pan in your RV or camper. If you notice, it has the center drain hole setup, the drain hole is two inches in diameter, as opposed to the drain being on either side, this is right in the center. It does use a nice three-sided tile flange right here, helps prevent water from seeping behind the bathtub and damaging the wall. And it is a nice flat rim around the perimeter of the tub, which will hold soap, shampoo bottles and other toiletries.Does have a nice textured, the anti-slip bottom, reduces the chance of falls, and it's made of a durable scratch-resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer construction, which means it's a lot lighter, more environmentally friendly than fiberglass.
Also on the bottom, you can see it has this pre-installed foam base, which will prevent cracking, provides nice sound dampening. And again, the color of this tub is parchment. It is IAPMO certified, CSA compliant, and ASME certified. Hardware is required to attach this bathtub to the floor or pedestal and it is not included, you would have to purchase that separately. This part is made in the USA.Last thing I'm going to do is give you some overall specs on this tub.
Exterior dimensions, so if we go length from this end to this end, it's going to be right at 38 inches, the width on it from this end to this end is right at 24 inches, and the total depth to the top here is right at 12-3/4 inches deep. Now the interior dimensions, the length is going to be from the inside here to the inside here, so if we put a ruler on that, it's going to be right at 35 inches long. The width is the same way, it's going to be inside at the very top to inside at the very top, it's going to be right at 19-1/2 inches wide. And the total depth from the very top is right at 10-1/2 inches deep. But that should do it for the review on this Better Bath 38 inch long by 24 inch wide center drain RV bathtub..

The only discrepancy found is related to shipping. The box and packing was not sufficient to prevent the rear right corner of the tub yo be dented. Fortunately the drop did not crack the plastic tub. I desperately need to replace my broken tub, so I will use it because no crack on the dented corner. I would recommend better box and packing.
The product was delivered just fine, but I would have liked to have been notified by email of the delivery. I had no way to track my order. Just a suggestion that may help others. Thanks...
Great, just as it is described on the the website; however, prize is a little too high.
Little shallower than orginal but fit fine with a few mods.

The product is exactly what we expected/needed. However, what is more impressive to me is the customer service we received from etrailer. Our first order was lost in transit. I emailed etrailer asking for an update, and George J was extremely quick to respond with a couple options - refund or replace. We needed the tub as we're gutting our camper, so we chose a replacement. That item was shipped immediately, and here within days. This isn't the first great experience we've had with etrailer, either. My husband raves about their customer service all the time. We will continue to buy through etrailer as long as we have a camper to fix.

Rediculous price for a 1/8 inch thick plastic tub. I added foam under the edges to support it better. Rip off!..The etrailer service was excellent as was shipping

The bathtub I received was in perfect condition but what I have in my RV at the moment is a little bit bigger and size matters I have a bad back I need to lay in the tub very happy they were very efficient it came on time and everybody that helped me this company was very polite and courteous

First to start off took two months to get the first one ,came in damaged then one more week to get a new one. Camping world has same tub for 114.00 chunk less but where out of them when i checked, etrailer showed they had them only to find out they did not. These tubs are paper thin and light weight a far cry from the one i had original in the holiday rambler, I spent a lot of time building a box and filling around it with foam to support the edges so a heel would not go through if stepped on the edge, still worried about the small area around the drain that is not supported due to the plumbing, poor communication of etrailer part about the delay.

I don't have an RV. I installed this smaller size tub in a very small bathroom in a cabin I own. I used galvanized metal as the shower surround. I stabilized the tub on the floor with canned spray foam and a little framing. It is still working very well as a small shower a year later. Has been used on a daily basis. It is the size I needed for my space. It is light weight but appears durable. Installation was easy. Would recommend.
