Specs:
The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Empire Faucets RV Tub and Shower Diverter faucet with Vacuum Breaker. This is a white ABS plastic tub and shower diverter that is going to allow you to upgrade the diverter faucet in your RV or camper. As you can see, it does have the dual handle design here with these crystal knobs style handles that are gonna be very easy to grip and to adjust the temperature, so you can get it set to just where you want it. These do have quarter turn cartridge stems that enable the faucet to turn on and off, and again, finally tune that temperature for yourself. The washerless design actually reduces friction and daily wear, so it's gonna help it last much longer for you, be very durable.
The center vacuum breaker allows you to attach a handheld shower set, that shower set is sold separately, but you can find it here at etrailer.com, so you would be able to just screw that in place, have that handheld shower for you, all you'd have to do is then lift the diverter pin, and that will allow the water to flow through to that handheld shower. This is going to be a two hole installation, so you've got these two 1/2 inch inner diameter inlet shanks that have your standard male NPSM connections, so it's gonna be very easy to get hooked up. The distance between these two shanks is four inches, so make sure that you have the wall holes for that, so it's gonna fit your current setup. The deck plate and two mounting nuts are included to help make installation very simple for you, get that tightened down, so everything's gonna be nice and snug. It is recommended that you use some tile and tub caulk to finish that out and make sure that no water is gonna get back behind your walls where it caused mold and other issues.
As far as our dimensions go, our overall width is probably gonna be from our handles, it stick out a little bit to the sides when we have them positioned like so, so we're looking at our overall width, it's gonna be right about six inches, maybe 6 1/8 of an inch wide, I think it easier to see if you're at the front with that. So we got that lined up there, about 6 1/8 of an inch wide. Our height, we're looking at about 3 1/2 inches tall, and then our depth, I'm only gonna measure back to where this is gonna sit on a wall, I'm gonna say it's right at four inches deep. This does come with a limited lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any problems with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. We're always happy to work with our customers to make sure you're getting good quality products and having a good experience.
So overall, I think this is gonna be a nice option if you are wanting that bright white ABS plastic look to upgrade or replace your current setup in your RV or camper bathroom. So that's gonna complete our look. Thanks for watching, we'll see you next time..

RV tub faucet lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) so you can wash up after a long day at the campsite. Vacuum breaker makes sure that your dirty shower water won't flow backward and contaminate your clean water supply. It works well. But I feel the shower hose should be on top. Not the bottom, It would make more sense, it has to go up anyway.
The faucet arrived today, 6 March, and I installed same. Much better than the one it replaced.
