Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Titan RV sewer hose extension with a three-inch bay nut and lug fitting. So folks, with this guy here, you're gonna be able to extend up to five feet of length through your RV sewer hose so that you can reach the sewer inlet when empty in, your holding tank's much easier. It's got a very nice easy grip bay nut lug fitting here. It's gonna attach to your standard three-inch lug fitting and then you just rotate it to lock it in place, and it's gonna lock in with that bay nut fitting to your existing sewer hose. It has internal seals built into it that's gonna help prevent leaking.
You can see that black seal inside of there. It is an extra thick 23-mil TPE, and it's gonna resist crushing, punctures, and UV damage. It's got inner palmer coils that help the hose spring back into shape if it does get trampled, or anything like that. So you can see I'm pushing down pretty hard and just pops right back up. So, very nice.
And again, here's kind of a demonstration. Obviously you wouldn't hook it on itself, but that's kind of how that lug locks in. Make sure very important, you get that lug all the way locked in. If you don't have it all way locked in, it could fall off while you're emptying or filling, and that's disastrous. Again, you would never lock these two together, most likely, unless maybe storing it.
But that's the concept of those bay nut lug fittings. It's very flexible. It's gonna be easy to maneuver even in temperatures that are below freezing, and the hose does collapse nice and short for easy storage. It's made here in the US, and again, it can stretch out, again, five feet long, and then you can just push it back together for storing it, keeping it nice, short, simple.
