Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV sanitation reducing T. This unit is made from a durable plastic construction. The fitting's going to get installed in an RV sewer drain system, and combine both the black tank and gray tank pipes into one outlet. The point right here is going to feature a rotating flange that would get connected to a three-inch valve. The mount holes on that flange are going to be separated on center. That looks to measure right around three and three-quarters of an inch apart.
That's going to be the same separation measurement for each mount hole. Again, that's center on center. This point right here is going to feature a rotating flange that would get connected to a inch and a half valve. The mount hole separation on this flange, measuring center on center. That looks to measure pretty close to two and half inches, maybe two and seven-sixteenths, right in that area. Now, the rotating flanges are going to allow you to position the valve handle in a location that works best for your application.
That's a really neat feature of the unit. This end's going to feature the three inch bayonet fitting with the four pin design. This will accept a standard three inch bayonet style fitting, both two hook and four hook options. The outer diameter is going to give us a measurement of three and a half inches. It's also going to feature the connection point right here. There's a little nib.
That's going to allow a cap with a tether strap to be installed to the unit. Now you can see that this main portion right here is a straight pipe. I'm going to take a measurement from the back of the three inch flange to the end of the bayonet hub just to give us an idea of that length real quick. That looks like it's going to give us a measurement of pretty close to five inches, maybe four and seven-eighths. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV sanitation reducing T..
