Speaker 1: Today on our 2007 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome, we're gonna be taking a look at Valterra RV Rubber Roof Cleaner. It's available in a 64-ounce bottle and a 32-ounce spot cleaning spray bottle. This is gonna allow you to clean and condition your rubber roof on your RV or camper. This is gonna work on all types of rubber roofs and it's gonna clean and condition in one application. To apply your RV cleaner or conditioner on your rubber roof, you're gonna need a soft brush, and you're gonna mix about 12-16 ounces per one gallon of water. You can see, already, this dark spot here, we have not done yet, but you can see the difference from cleaning. Now, if your roof has never been done, this is supposed to be applied once a year. If it's never been done, it may take two applications. One thing you don't wanna do, is while you're applying it on, you wanna make sure it doesn't dry.
You wanna make sure it doesn't dry on the sides. So, it's a good idea to have somebody down below with a hose spraying off your sides as it runs off.So, we'll take our brush, and you can use a soft mop also. We're just gonna apply it on there. You can see I have a little bit stiffer brush here. What you'll find, is if you haven't done it in a little while, where your air conditioner water runs off the side, you'll see black streaks.
Sometimes those might be a little bit tougher to get off. So, a stiffer brush works pretty well. Helps get down in there.I took a string and tied it to my belt loop, put a little hoop in the end. That's how I can get my hose up here to rinse it off. You can see all the dirt washing off of it.
Then if you have any spots, you can see like a few darker spots there. Maybe they've been there for a while, you just repeat the process until you get it to where you want it.That'll do it for a look at an application on the Valterra RV Rubber Roof Cleaner on our 2007 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome.

This rubber roof cleaner deep cleans, conditions, and protects in just one application. The cleaner removes bird droppings, mold & mildew stains, and light oxidation. Safe for use on all synthetic and natural rubber surfaces. Not happy. I ordered the Valterra Rubber Roof Cleaner but received the Valterra Black Streak Remover. Emailed customer service a few times to let them know and see what can be done but never heard back. I have a trip planned soon so so I just used what etrailer sent me. Seems that it worked fine. Not going to order anything else from etrailer. I've ordered a few times from them and love the website but the service needs HELP!
First bottle leaked in shipment. Made Etrailer aware & they rushed me another bottle. Now it was packed well. No way was it gonna leak. Replacement bottle worked great. Roof looks great after using Valterra Rubber Roof Cleaner & Conditioner. I'll buy the economy size next time. Thanks Etrailer for treating me like your best customer.
I used this on my rubber travel trailer roof and it worked well. It is strong enough that you can dilute it and rub it on. Some of the mildew spots remained, but it did remove a lot of the build up. Then I was able to recaulk the seams.
Our roof had tree sap on it, and this cleaner was not effective.
Works great to easily clean the rubber roof.
