Note: Install the refrigerator in a convenient location away from extreme heat and cold. You must allow 1" of space on all sides for proper ventilation. This fridge is not designed for recessed installation.
Sometimes space is limited in RV kitchens, so having the flexibility to open your fridge from either side makes the space you have work for you. The convenience of the dual swing doors is great for a busy family on the go - you can grab those last-minute drinks and snacks as you run out the door. The glass front is durable, so you won't see bumps or scratches from moving stuff in or out of your RV. Whether you are looking forward to ice cream sundaes at your campsite with the family or an ice-cold beverage with friends by the campfire, this fridge is a great choice for your RV kitchen and your home away from home.
It doesn't matter if you are replacing your non-working refrigerator or are just ready for an upgrade for your RV kitchen, you have a few things to consider before making that purchase. Most original RV refrigerators use propane for absorption cooling, while this Everchill model uses 12V DC hooked to your RV's battery. Absorption refrigerators can be hard to fix, don't have a dedicated defrost cycle, and take a long time to cool down, but they run on propane which is great when you don't have electricity.
The 12V refrigerators require little maintenance, most have an auto defrost cycle, and they can cool in as little as 1 hour. They're also safer because they use a compressor instead of propane, which allows it to cool down 4 times faster while avoiding safety risks associated with propane such as fires, gas leaks, and explosions. The downside is that you must have the proper battery bank or invest in solar. If you don't, you could drain your batteries in as little as 1 night of dry camping.

Great company.
Got it installed and hooked up replacing an older 3way fridge was running for 20 minutes and already cooling!!!
The 10.7 Everchill fridge/freezer as a replacement for my Norcold propane 8 cubic foot unit is one of the best upgrades we have made to our diesel pusher. The interior size difference is amazing. We use to have to start the Norcold 2 days ahead of loading food but the Everchill is ready in just several hours. Now we can have ice cream! The Everchill gets much colder than our old Norcold. We invested in solar panels and 600 amps of lithium batteries so we are now using the Everchill for extra storage at home for free.
One question. There was no information on how to register the unit for the warranty. How do we do that?
Finally got this fridge installed at camp. It works excellent. One battery and one solar panel kept it going all weekend. It was cold in less than 3 hours.
To say my 2019 travel trailer absorption refrigerator has never been dependable would be an extremely gross understatement. Due diligence led me to the Everchill. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so it took me a little longer to prep the trailer. One thing that made all the difference in overall regidity was to replace the flimsy compartment bottom with a piece of cleated Baltic birch plywood. I also installed two 190 watt Zamp solar panels and controller with a fused dedicated circuit so I could turn off the main trailer power switch and still run the refrigerator while traveling. I am very happy with the end result. The increased capacity that you gain is a beautiful thing and it is so very quiet! Stacey A. took care of everything and kept me informed with all the details. Bottom line, Everchill is a great refrigerator and etrailer provided great service!! Thank you!!
This 12v fridge is working great. No problem keeping temps at 38/0 even on 100+ days. Only annoying thing is it makes pretty hard clunk when compressor engages. Hope this isn't a sign of early failure.
Supernice refrigerator, love the dual action doors. After turning it on the freezer got down to zero degrees within one hour. If mounting in an rv , you will need to removethe door hinge brackets and build your own bracket so you can attach it to the wall.
great Price, fast delivery
works great and cools quickly got to -8 in the freezer and 39 in the fridge in under 1 hr. just make sure you use at least 12-gauge wire.

Flawless. It was subjected to 100 deg. heat for 1 12 months straight and never missed a beat. As I had stated, the Norcold absorption unit was totally useless. With the added solar panels it is totally self sufficient. Another bonus is no propane issues.Totally solved all my headaches. My only advice is to do your homework.
