See what our Experts say about this Mighty Cord RV Power Cord

  • Is The 50Amp SmartPlug RV Power Cord Available Is Lengths Under 30'?
Currently SmartPlug only offers their 50 amp cord in a 30' Length # SM86FR. We do have a Replacement End # SM36FR you could attach to a 50 Amp Power Cord # A10-5025END. This particular cord is 25' but you can cut it down before adding on the SmartPlug end.

  • What Gauge Wire Does The 50 Amp Hardwire Cord A10-5025END Use?
I double checked with the manufacturer and you were correct in your assumption. On the 50 amp hardwire cord # A10-5025END, the one ground wire is 10 gauge, the other 3 wires are 6 gauge. I will have our website updated to reflect this. Sorry for any confusion.

  • Weight Of 10 and 15 Long Mighty Cord 50 Amp Extension Cords
The Mighty Cord RV Extension Cord - 50 Amps - 10' Long # A10-5010EH weighs approximately 8lbs and the Mighty Cord RV Extension Cord - 50 Amps - 15' Long # A10-5015EH weighs approximately 11lbs.

  • Available Type of 4-Wire/4-Prong RV Power Cords
If you need an RV power cord with 4-prong plugs it is probably a 50-amp cord rather than a 30-amp. The Mighty Cord 25' RV Power Cord Extension # A10-5025EH has 4-prong 50-amp connectors on both ends. The linked page shows all categories of power cords that we sell. These include replacement hardwired cords like Furrion # A10-5025END, extension cords like # A10-5025EH, and power cords like # A10-5025ED. All of these items are 25-feet long. You can click on the type of cord you need on...

  • Is the 10 AWG Wire on the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Power Cord Enough for 50 Amps
The Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Power Cord part # A10-5025END is only capable of handling one service so I am not really sure what you mean by separating these out. The wire gauge which is 10 AWG is then sufficient for the singular 50 amp service the power cord is designed to be used with.

  • How To Wire A 50Amp Pigtail Power Cord To Connect To A 30amp Twist Lock Generator Outlet
Your power cord, just like with the Mighty Cord # A10-5025END will wire the black and red wires as your positive, white as your neutral, and green as your ground. The green wire should not be sticking out of the sleeve like you have pictured and the plug should have a ground nut on it. Since you have four wires that is a 50amp power cord. Based on the picture you provided you purchased a 30amp twist lock plug which will not work with your cable. I recommend wiring the power cord to a...

  • How Can I Tell If My 5th Wheel Is 30 Amp or 50 Amp?
Generally for RV Plugs a 4 wire would mean 50 amp. Unless someone made modifications to your 5th wheel at some point, I cannot think of a reason why there would be a 4 wire 30 amp plug. Usually we can look at the cord to determine if your 5th wheel is 30 amp or 50 amp. If you can send pictures of your distribution box and plug I should be able to identify it. Or you could always try contacting a dealership with your VIN if you are unsure. If you need to replace a 30 amp cord we have the...

  • Wires Needed To Connect To Hubbell CS8164C And CS8165C Connectors
If you're just looking for the actual wires to run between the Hubbell CS8164C and Hubbell CS8165C then you could use the Mighty Cord Hardwire RV Power Cord # A10-5025END and just remove the plug and wire the ends to your Hubbell connectors. You should also be able to get four 10AWG wires in casing by the foot at your local hardware store.
