Perfect to connect from generator to camper. Well constructed - Proper Form - Fit - and Function.

Being bit confused about what I should order - I ordered the wrong part. etrailer quickly resolved my mistake, got me the right part and took the return of the wrong part.

Was a very pleasant experience. They handled things so quickly that I actually go the correct part on the same day as the incorrect one.

Re the power cord - it's exactly what I needed.

by:

Nice cord I just wish in had 90° on the 50 amp locking female. Or at least a matching 50 amp locking 90° female to a 50 amp male to lock on Pig tale to lock onto with this straight locking 50 amp cord .. That would make it hang nice . other than that I'm very pleased

by:

Products arrived as promised in perfect condition and on time. The 50 to 30male cord is really nice and light weight compared to the 50 amp beast my trailer came with. Just what I was looking for, and the web site was super easy to use, thanks e trailer!

See what our Experts say about this Mighty Cord RV Power Cord

  • Does Using 50 Amp to 30 Amp Adapter Force Higher Amperage To RV Power
If you used the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter 50 amp to 30 amp # A10-3050EHD you'd be connecting an RV designed and rated for 50 amps to a power source that is rated for 30 amps. The power source does not push through the adapter so basically as long as you don't end up drawing more than 30 amps the power source will be fine.

  • Is There A Way To Daisy Chain Two Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapters?
I do have a solution for you, however since your Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050EHD has a twist lock on one end, there is not going to be an adapter. Instead, the best solution I can offer is to cut off the twist lock connector on one cord, and re-wire the one end with the: -Power Grip Replacement RV Power Cord Adapter Receptacle w/ Handle # CAM55343. From here, you would plug the one twist lock connector into your trailer, plug the male 30amp to the newly rewired 30amp...

  • 50 Amp Female Twist Lock to 30 Amp Male Adapter Cord
We have several different cords that could work for you starting with a 50 amp twist lock female to 30 amp male # A10-3050EHD. The cord on this one is 25 feet long. For a shorter option we have # CAM55582 which is 18 inches long but still a 50 amp twist lock female to a 30 amp male. On your set up it sounds like the locking end is on the 50 amp on the house so if that isn't right let me know.

  • Using Mighty Cord Dogbone 50 Amp to 30 Amp Adapter with 50 Amp Voltage Protector on RV
Yes, when hooking up to 30 amp shore power you can simply add the Mighty Cord Dogbone Adapter # A10-3050FBK, which will connect to the 30 amp outlet and then go to your existing Camco 50 amp RV Power Defender # CAM55306, which would then plug into your RV. The Camco Power Defender is still going to protect your RV from potentially dangerous surges over 50 amps. I have attached a couple short video reviews that you can check out as well.

  • Longest 50 Amp Twist Lock Female To 30 Amp Male RV Cable Available
I took a look at our inventory, and for a 50 amp female RV hookup to a 30 amp male outlet hookup, the 25' -Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050EHD, is the longest cable we offer for this type of application. However, to achieve the length you need, you can plug the Mighty Cord RV Extension Cord # A10-3010EH at the male end of # A10-3050EHD. This will give you another 10' of length, for a total of 35'. I have also included a couple of review videos for you to check out as well.

  • RV Power Cord with a 50 Amp Female Plug On One Side and 30 Amp Plug on the Other Side
I am not completely sure what you mean by 50 amp female with cover. But we currently have 2 cords that have a 50 amp female plug on one end and a 30 amp plug on the other end. - Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter w/ Pull Handle - 50 Amp Female to 30 Amp Male # A10-3050EHD - Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Female to 30 Amp Male # A10-3050EDBK

  • Are There Shorter 50 Amp Female To 30 Amp Male Power Cord Adapters
The only 50 amp female to 30 amp male adapters we currently offer under 25' in length would be about 12" in length like the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Female to 30 Amp Male - 12" Long # A10-3050FHVP. We do carry smaller 50 amp or 30 amp extension cords that you could use like the Mighty Cord RV Extension Cord - 50 Amps - 10' Long # A10-5010EH. You could use the # A10-5010EH to connect to your trailer and then the # A10-3050FHVP to connect to the shore power pedestal.

  • Can the Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Protector be Used When Converting 50 Amps to 30 Amps
I do have options for you but a voltage protector like the Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Protector part # CAM55301 cannot be used when converting from 50 amps to 30 amps. Instead, you would just need to use a standard extension power cord with dogbone adapter. For this I recommend the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter part # A10-3050EHD which is 25' long. If you already have a 50 amp power cord that goes from the inlet on the RV to the outlet at the RV park you can just use the Mighty...

  • Recommended RV Power Cord For Converting 50 Amp to 30 Amp for RV Power
An 8 gauge cable would help the handles from getting so hot, but unfortunately we don't carry anything like that. The 10 gauge wire is sufficient to work properly without overheating. The Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Twist Lock Female to 30 Amp Male - 25' # A10-3050EHD is most likely your best option for conversion. I recommend the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Twist Lock Female to 30 Amp Male - 25' # A10-3050EDBK. Your option for a shorter cord is to make one shorter using the Mighty Cord 10' RV Power Cord Extension w/ Handle - 125V - 30 Amp # A10-3010EH or 15 foot # A10-3015EH and then cut the female end to install the Mighty Cord Replacement Twist Lock Connector for RVs - Female - 50 Amps # A10-50FDT.
