Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Furrion Marine Power Cord Extension. This one right here, it's going to be 25 foot long, but we're also going to have one that's going to be 50 foot long. We don't really need the 50 footer today, but if you do, we have it. We are going to have a 30 amp cord having a male end on this side. Nice little grips, so it's going to be easy to connect it.
And also, we're going to have an LED indicator on the plug here so we can know if the power's getting through it. Same exact thing on the other end, nice little cap to resist against all that water and stuff that may get in it when you're storing it. But pretty much the same exact deal, same exact little knob here, same LED, but we're just going to thread this one on.The situation that we're in right now, let's just say we're in an RV park, but we're really not. We're behind etrailer. But let's just say that the 50 amp plugin is not working.
It's not there or someone is using it. Regardless of what the situation may be, we don't have 50 amps to plug into. But that's what's on our RV over here. So, I'm actually going to have to use a converter to convert it from 50 amps down to 30 amps. The one I'm using here is pretty much the same deal as the cord, but it's just a converter right here.
Let's just start off by taking this guy, plugging it in. The grips are really nice because it's actually the same grip on both of them, so you can turn it really easily. This threads on very nicely. It's going to keep that nice and connected, and also just keep all that water and such out of it.Let's go ahead and take the other side. And I am pretty happy with the cord.
There's some of them, which usually are usually the 50 amp cords that are just a little harder to handle. This is made of a good coating and just makes messing with it a little bit nicer than some of the others, extremely malleable. What we're going to do now, same exact thing, is just plug it into the generator. But what I'm going to do before we check out these LEDs is turn on the generator, let it run, make sure it's going to be making peak power, and then, plug in our cord. I just don't want to under power anything on the inside of the RV. So, let's do it.You saw the LEDs on the cord, and we want to make sure that it's actually getting in here. It should, and it is. LEDs are lighting up. So, yes, we are going from 50 to 30 amps, but that's still enough to power my refrigerator and also the AC. It is steamy in here right now, but still working good, and that is a lot better. Well, that works. Now, let's go ahead and see how she coils up. This is going to be how you live with it. I was doing a 50-foot cord like this where I really liked the material that they coated the cord with, but it really didn't want to cooperate a whole lot. So, I really didn't get it down as small as it came in the box, which is all right because we're not going to be putting it in that original box.Usually, we see you guys maybe take a little tote and make that your wire tote. So, that'll fit really easily in there, even the 50 footer. But a lot of you guys just put it in your storage. So, that's what I'm going to do is go put it up in there. But the 25 footer definitely cooperates more than the 50 footer. That's just because this is half as much cord. I'm going to go ahead and go and put it in our storage because we're pretty much done. Well, everyone, that's just about it for a look at the Furrion Marine Power Cord Extension, and I'm Adam with etrailer.

Side grips make disconnecting easy.ESy ordering process.takes a couple of weeks to ship because of back up orders. Tracking system good along with notifications. Good customer service
I've had this 30 amp fusion marine cord for about a year now and it has been in use most of that time.
It's very good quality and works great. One thing to note tho is this is a marine cord, not RV. So the male end ( the one you plug into power source) is different than a 30amp RV receptacle at a camp ground or State Park. I purchased an adapter and it works fine. Just order the RV version unless you live on a boat in a marina. Great product, I do recommend.
As described and quickly delivered. Thumbs up.
Best length to purchase when RVing. Great quality!
I thought I was buying a cord that would go into a female outlet from the electrical box but this one was for a attachment for another 30 amp cord .
So I tried it and it works great .
The packaging was great and it arrived when they said it would . I give this company 5 stars
