Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Bauers products padlock. This padlock is going to secure your gear from would-be thieves. So it's going to work great for your LP gas tanks or battery boxes, helping to keep those locked up so that no one can come along and get at your gas or your batteries. This is constructed of a hardened steel; this lock body here.

So it's going to be very durable and crush resistant. Our shackle here is a steel construction as well. So it's going to be nice and durable; difficult to cut. So very secure for whatever you're using it for. This does have a black protective casing around the bottom here.

You can see that it does stick out a little bit from the bottom of our padlocks, that it's going to help to prevent any dirt or debris from getting into our lock cylinder there. It's going to just extend past the lock a little bit to provide a little extra protection there.This lock can be keyed alike with other 300, 700 or 900 series Bauer product locks. You will have to order them all simultaneously to get them keyed alike but it's a very easy process. Just click the key to like down arrow and select that option. And so that you can use the same two keys that come with this lock for any of the locks in your order.

And so rather than having to keep track of lots of different sets of locks, you can just use the one set for any locks that you have on your trailer or RV.Now, this shackle here is right at a quarter inch in diameter; you can see there. And then we've got, I'm going to call about one and five eighths inch of usable space there. Then just shy of three quarters of an inch in width. And that this will secure onto. It is very easy using the included keys to slide them in there, give it that half twist, pull your keys out and locks very easily.

It's nice and secure there.So it's great padlock option and that key to like capability is going to be really nice if you are ordering multiple padlocks or locking kits from them so that you can make sure that you have the same set of keys for all of them.
