This radio was easy to install in my 5th wheel and sounds good. Takes up a 1/3 of the space the other radio used. I used a 2 1/8 hole saw to start the space needed for the radio (left and right sides) and it worked out well, no slop. Finished cutting the slot with a utility saw and wood file. I like that it has bluetooth, as my other radio did not. It's only two channels (front/rear) and I'm ok with that because I don't use my outdoor speakers (channel C). I ended up reversing the Front and Rear on accident assuming Front = Channel A, Rear = Channel B. It the other way around. It was missing the side mounting brackets in the box, luckily I didn't need them. It also has 2 screws on the top with a small shoulder, looks like it might be another mounting method, but the instructions don't show anything and I just removed them to install the radio. I've only had it in for a couple days but so far I'm enjoying it. I play my Pandora, via phone, most of the time. 746804

As usual the price and service was top shelf dealing with etrailer. The product works great. I used it to replace a radio/cd/dvd player in my Arctic fox truck camper. This new one has bluetooth also. I only gave it 4 stars because the instructions are kind of so so. Also the remote doesnt come with a battery, and after running and buying one i still cant get it to work. Ill try again when i calm down. 627832

Ask the Experts about this Drive RV Stereos

  • Replacement for Drive RV Stereo DVD1000 with No Sound from Interior Speakers
Since you are getting sound on some of the speakers it is most likely a wiring issue that you need to troubleshoot. I reached out to my contact at Way Interglobal (Drive) who also confirmed this Double check the wiring harness and make sure it's wired correctly. I have included the wiring diagram for your (now discontinued) Drive model number 324-000148 DVD1000 RV Stereo for reference. If your speakers are wired properly and you're out of the 1-year manufacturer warranty, the new...

  • Replacement Option for iRV RV Stereo iRV33
The Drive RV Stereo part # 324-000031 has one zone with a max output of four speakers. Therefore, this would not be a good replacement for an iRV RV Stereo part iRV33. Furthermore, you would actually need a double din not a single din like the above. I recommend the Furrion RV Stereo part # DV1230BL or the iRV Stereo part # 292-101079 as these options both have three zones, double din mounting, and work with up to a total of six speakers. The Furrion RV Stereo part # DV1230BL is preferred...

The Drive RV Stereo with Remote # 324-000031 does have AM and FM radio tuners in addition to playing multiple formats of disc including CD, DVD and CD-R. It also has Bluetooth and USB playback capability to enable streaming and playback from a USB device such as a thumb drive. • Can Drive RV Stereo/DVD Player Connect to a 110 Volt TV to Watch DVDs
Yes provided that your TV has the red, yellow, and white RCA inputs. The Drive RV stereo and DVD player does have video out connectors on the back of it. The fact that the TV uses 110 volt power won't be a factor.

  • Wiring Diagram for Drive DVD Player as Well as RCA Wire Colors for TV
I attached a picture to this page that has the wiring diagram for the harness at the back of the no longer available # 324-000138 that you have. The RCA cables match the colors that you mentioned. The yellow is for video, white is for left audio and red is for right. If you are having issues with the TV not having picture it would be the yellow wire of these three not being connected.

  • Is a Bluetooth Speaker Compatible with the Drive RV Stereo with Bluetooth
The RV Stereo with Remote - CD/DVD Player - Bluetooth - USB - 12V/24V # 324-000031 has the Bluetooth receiver to allow a phone or other device to send the music to the stereo. It does not however have the ability to transmit to a Bluetooth speaker. I reached out to the manufacturer to confirm this.

  • Does RV Stereo - Single DIN # 324-000031 Have Zones or Fade Between Front and Back Speakers
The RV Stereo - Single DIN # 324-000031 has two sets of speaker wires for the front and rear that you can fade and operate more like a traditional stereo like what you mentioned. It's listed as having zones as that's how most RV stereos are described.

  • Passkey for Bluetooth Connection of RV Drive Brand RV Stereo
The BlueTooth passcode should be either all 0's or 1234. That is the default passcode for basically all BlueTooth devices if enabled.

  • Does the Drive RV Stereo # 324-000031 Have Pb/Cb and Pr/Cr Plugs for TV
The Drive RV Stereo # 324-000031 only has the yellow composite plug for video. The Pb/Cb and Pr/Cr plugs don't exist on this so they would simply not be used for your TV. It doesn't look like any of our RV stereos have those outputs so you will either need to ignore them like I mentioned above or use a DVD player that does use those outputs.

  • How Is Drive RV Stereo Powered
The RV Stereo part # 324-000031 is is powered with 12 V DC power like car stereos. It is not designed to be plugged into the wall. We currently do not carry stereos that plug into an AC wall outlet.

  • Wall Mounted Radio for Motor Home
All our wall mount receivers like the iRV Digital In-Wall Receiver # 292-101079 are 12V or like # 324-000031 are 24V. You would need to use a power inverter to get the 110V at the correct amperage for your stereo. It would be extremely rare for you not to have a 12V system so you may want to double check the system you are replacing. There may be a 110V connection to a battery that then connects to your 12V radio. I've linked the page to all our RV electronics to assist.
