Specs:
The all-in-one design of Furrion's over-the-range convection microwave oven saves on space in your RV and utilizes both convection and microwave cooking. It also combines the two cooking modes to cook food quickly and to bring out the best flavor. The integrated exhaust fan and filters disperse odors, smoke, and moisture, keeping your RV interior and air quality clean.
Convection vs Microwave vs Combination Cooking
Convection cooking distributes and circulates heat throughout the microwave oven, which not only heats the air, but pushes it around to cook the food quicker and more efficiently than a standard microwave. This type of cooking is best for baking and browning foods, such as cookies, cakes, pastries, quiches, and soufflés.
Microwave cooking targets the liquids inside the food, stirring up the molecules in the liquid to heat food quickly and thoroughly. This type of cooking is best for anything with a high amount of liquid in it, such as beverages, soups, and frozen foods.
Combination cooking utilizes the energy from microwave cooking to cook food quickly, and the browning aspect of convection to cook food thoroughly. This works best with foods that take a long time to prepare, such as meats, casseroles, and breads. The included metal shelf provides good air circulation and even browning, producing the best results for cooking in your RV.
Venting options
Since This microwave functions as a range hood, helping to cut down on food odors and keep your kitchen clean. During installation, you can set up the microwave for different venting options. To setup the microwave, follow the illustrated installation guide included in the box.
The microwave can be set up to vent air outside of your RV, either out of the top or out of the back of the unit. Doing so drastically cuts down on lingering smells from cooking and filmy buildup in your kitchen. This is an ideal choice if your RV already has ductwork installed already.
If you don't want to drill a vent hole into the side or roof of your RV, the microwave can also be set up to recirculate the air inside. The integrated charcoal filter helps capture grease particles and cuts down on odors. Since it will not need to be hooked up to ductwork, this is the best choice for the easiest installation.
Cleaning the Filters
The easily removable charcoal and exhaust filters located on the top and bottom of the microwave catch grease and exhaust. To remove, simply slide the filter back and pull down. To clean, run the filter under hot water and use a mild detergent.

I called customer services of Etrailer and they made me feel at ease that they are able to send a replacement. Without hesitation they sent the new microwave..I received it before the actual date that was promised. Which in this case was right in time brie the New Years!
The new product was installed today and working excellent. I am really happy and would definitely order from your company again in the future.
Thank you and have a blessed New Years!!!
I had to replace my original Furrion unit after three years. The control board when out and they do not offer a replacement board. R-trailer had the best price out there. I ordered and oven arrived in 4 days. After installing noticed small dent on side of oven. I place cup of water inside to test. All seemed fine at first. About 40 minutes later oven came on by itself. This happened again about 30 minutes later. Spoke to my neighbor who repairs ovens and he recommended oven be replaced. Contacted etrailer. 24 hours later a replacement oven was in it’s way. Received new oven, installed, working great. It’s been a long time since I experienced such great service. Anna, George. And Carol all responded very quickly
I’m very satisfied with the quick response and the replacement of the damaged microwave oven I had received. The replacement microwave oven I just received was in perfect condition.
Thanks again, Roger
I started to leave a review, and initially clicked 1 star, because the microwave arrived dented up on multiple side except for the front face. I tested to make sure it works and since it did I went ahead and installed it. Also, this is the second time I've had to order this same microwave since the first time it was damaged enough to where UPS would not attempt delivery. Frankly, it needs more package cushioning instead of just what the manufacturer provides.
The first order was damaged in shipping, Etrailer made it right that day. Emailed shipping label and processed replacement order. Etrailer reboxed new unit to prevent damage. Shipment was perfect. Highly recommend this company. Exact replacement microwave/convection oven.
One year in, no issues. Replaced a similar Oven/Microwave in our RV. We're full-timers so it really gets the workout. Only negative is Temps/times are tough to figure out on the convection oven. Oven temp is 25 - 50 degrees off from display setting which adds time to those in your recipe.
Selected the 1.5 Cu Ft Furion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave to replace the same unit that came with our Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel. The original unit began blowing a fuse when the microwave door was closed and replacing relays in the door mechanism did not resolve the problem. We decided to use the same model since drill holes would align and would be the same dimensions. We did need to remove the heat shield in the back as insulation was affixed to the interior wall behind the microwave. With the heat shield installed combined with the installation on the wall, the microwave extended out too far and the mounting holes did not align. We decided to leave the installation installed as it was doing fine. We RV full time and the new microwave is doing fine in the 6 months since we installed.
First item was damaged in transit (and in my opinion poorly packed), and to their credit etrailer sent a replacement out promptly - but that's when the problems began. UPS was supposed to send someone out to pick up the damaged unit, so day after day we stayed home expecting UPS. We had to leave our security gate open all day, then make the effort to close it at night and re-open it the next day.
Over the past two weeks, I have spent countless HOURS on the phone on "hold" or speaking with etrailer customer service folks (Lori AB, Carol C, Sherry S, Jamie and finally Dena). All but Dena promised to call me back "tomorrow", but I guess tomorrow never came. Not a single one of these ladies followed through on their commitment to call and update me on when UPS would be here to pick it up. All of the ladies were cordial and nice on the phone - but just never followed through.
I've also sent 26 emails to etrailer discussing this problem, not to mention the emails and time on the phone with UPS.
I have loved etrailer, and I realize this is primarily a problem with UPS not picking up the unit, but why would these four customer service specialists make a commitment to call and then not call.
I guess it's company policy not to ever follow through with customers.
As of today, the damaged unit is waiting, sitting outside in my carport, taking up room - but I am through spending time on the phone waiting to talk to someone, waiting for etrailer and UPS to get their act together, waiting for a promised return phone call.
My next purchase is going to be a Brake Buddy, but at this point I'll be looking elsewhere after the treatment I've gotten from etrailer the past two weeks.
It has been a very disappointing experience.
This was a frustrating purchase. First off, the unit arrived fairly dented up on the back corner. I was able to test it and found that it functioned as it should. I was able to install it as the damage was in the back and unseen. Just frustrating when you spend good money on an item, and it arrives late and damaged. Also, when the order was placed it stated "IN STOCK". I ordered it on 10.22.22 and it arrived on 11.15.22. Vicki and George from etrailer were helpful and kept me updated on the shipping but still frustrating. Don't say something is in stock and then that the manufacturer has no units to ship but will get one out asap. UGH....
Ordering was easy and it arrived two days before expected which was nice. The UPs driver was rolling the box to the front of the delivery truck when I got to the truck. Needless to say, the box was damaged and also the side of the convection microwave. We did not accept the item. Getting a replacement on the way was also very easy.
Love the Microwave! First one arrived damaged and we were headed out in a few days on a 3 week trip. Customer service was awesome! The replacement unit arrived the day before departure, packaged much better the second time thank you very much, and installed exactly into the old one's mount and vent. Replaced the OEM from Keystone into our 2013 Montana 3582. Highly recommend this unit and doing business with etrailer! Great company to work with!!!
We received the microwaves as ordered. The box had some damage but the microwave was intact. I was worried due to the many reviews citing damages and replacements. Thanks for the service!
I received the Furrion oven in damaged condition. I am mow waiting for
a replacement. It came in a factory Furrion box, and was in very beat up shape.
This, according to other reviews is not that uncommon. I am glad I purchased it from etrailer. they have always come through in customer service.
Microwave only 2.5 years old and fuses blowing. Plus convection oven stopped working in 1.5 years. I only bought this one because I knew it would fit in place of previous Furrion. Overall in my opinion not a well made product. Average at best.
Shipping took almost two weeks and microwave had 3 small dents went we opened the box but all were not visible on install. Hoping this one lasts longer than original one which was only 3 years old.
We were on a long trip to Alaska from San Antonio, our microwave died! Called E trailer, fortunately for me I got Jessie on the line, told him my need to get a new microwave and it needs to be delivered to a RV park in Idaho. He helped me by making sure the dates of my travel fit with the dates of delivery! Love that guy! I picked my new microwave at the office in my RV parks on Wednesday and instant on Thursday! You have to love E-Trailer and JESSIE!
Packaging saved the microwave the box was severely damaged the internal Styrofoam packaging almost destroyed but the contents survived.
The microwave fit into the old microwave location with minor adjustments instructions were good.
Product arrived quickly and was exactly as described, a direct replacement for an OEM High Pointe (only 2 years old).
The shipping container was received badly damaged. I noticed the container had been previously opened and poorly re-sealed also. I didn't see damage in the waning light, as the damage was down low on the corner and bedded in broken Styrofoam packing. Next day, stripped container to remove oven and in the daylight saw the crush damage to two sides of the body. Plugged it in and it still worked to heat up water. Should have returned it but other commitments pushed me to install it and move the RV out.
It was a heavy, awkward and difficult two-man installation process, sure hope it continues to work ...I should request some credit and an extended warranty!
The microwave is good, but it arrived with a dent in the outside corner and inside frame where the door closes. We installed it because we didn't want to go to the Hassel of returning it and getting another. I feel like we should get a compensation credit of some kind for the dents.
Ordered on the 8th of August and received the product on the 11th. The product was double boxed and there was no damage. Installed on the 12th and it fit perfectly in place where I had my high pointe. Have had 3 high pointe go bad. Hope this Furrion lasts longer than HP. etrailer kept me updated on the shipment and tracking and when it arrive. Have used etrailer before and have been very pleased with the company.
Nice microwave. It did arrive with a significant dent in the sheet metal housing. I assume a shipping casualty issue. Since that did not appear to affect the function nor did it present a cosmetic issue due to the damage not being visible after mounting, I decided to keep the unit.
Unfortunately, this was installed in our camper right before we had to leave for the season and had a chance to try it. We are looking forward to using our new microwave/ convection oven when we return to Floridas next month.
We love Etrailer prompt and great servi ce
This unit has been installed but not used except to test functions, which seem to work as advertised. Unit replaced a Whirlpool 1.9 c/u and looks like a factory installed product which was important to us. The original unit had a 1” drop down bracket mounted to the slideout ceiling which I wanted to retain so I had to make some bracket modifications to get the factory-fit appearance. That made it more complicated than the plug-and-play installation described in other reviews.
Overall it turned out fine and we hope to get many years of service.
