Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at the Stromberg Carlson RV Jack Pads. This set is going to provide six of these 13 inch in diameter by two inch tall rubber pads that snap onto your 10 inch round or octagonal feet of your RVs equalizer system leveling jacks. This is going to help make leveling faster and easier by eliminating the need to crawl under your motor home or travel trailer to position plastic pads or woodblocks. Now these are going to be installed on the feet themselves and once you get 'em installed, you're not gonna have to take 'em off and put 'em back on again.
So it is gonna be much easier for you to get them installed. It's very simple, just lower your jack foot slightly, insert the foot into the shoe. You might need to use a flathead screwdriver to stretch the rubber around as necessary, but then once it's installed, you're not gonna have to worry about removing them, they're always just gonna be on the bottom of your jack foot, and that's going to help to provide a cushion so that your metal feet won't crack or chip your driveway. This set is capable of supporting a coach that's up to a hundred thousand pounds. These are also going to help dampen any vibration coming from inside the motor home that could cause shifting.
So they are going to help to dampen that. These are also going to help protect the foot pads from rocks and roots and provide grip on uneven terrain to help prevent the metal from rusting or bending. And because these are going to increase your foot diameter from 10 inches up to 13 inches, it is going to help prevent your foot from sinking into soft ground just having that increased surface area. You can see these do also have a built-in drain that's going to release moisture from the jack to help prevent the foot from corroding while it's sitting in there. So a really nice option, especially for those of you who don't want to have to worry about messing with pads in the future, just getting them installed once, and they'll be set for you every time you go to set up again, it's gonna be a really nice option.
These are made here in the USA, so you can trust they're made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. And this is the six pad set. We do have other sets with different quantities, so depending on how many jacks you have, this could either be the right set for you, or if you need fewer, we do have other options as well. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
Thanks for watchin'..
The pads fit perfect.
Kind of difficult to install, but good quality and work well..
Have not installed yet because the coach is put away for the winter. But these look to be very high quality and I really like the design. As always, Etrailer has great prices and quick delivery with good communication!
Super fast shipping!! Nicole was awesome to work with!! The Jack pads were easier to install than showed on the instruction videos!!
Thanks etrailer!
We have 10 inch octagon feet on our rv found it very hard to put on. Hopefully will stay on.
Been on for a year with no issues. These are are solid, "ice hockey puck" like rubber. Not crumb rubber like the Chinese versions, and much better price. I expect these will last a long time.
I installed these on a Newmar Bay Star with the EQ leveling jack system and have had no issues with them. I've put 12,000 miles on the unit and no problems with retention or wear. The jacks have been up and down hundreds of times. Installation is much more challenging than the manufacturer would lead you to believe. But with some strength and pry bars, once on they won't come off.
They have worked flawlessly. They seem to hold up better than snappads.
