Specs:
This 12V inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power and sends it to the electrical system. Using pure sine wave technology, it creates clean power with low distortion, making it safe, efficient, and perfect for sensitive electronics like computers and TVs. Plus, the inverter can generate 2,500 starting watts and 1,000 running watts which is a great fit for laptops, TVs, and charging your smartphone.
Function and Features
The inverter includes a hardwire AC terminal for AC loads, positive and negative DC input terminals that connect your batteries, and a port for a fixed-mount remote (sold separately). The function switch lets you select different output voltages and frequencies and also has a transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds.
Built-in safety features help protect your RV's electrical system. They offer protection from over/under voltage, overloading, and overcurrent. The inverter also protects from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.
The integrated micro-processor determines which voltages, frequencies, and safety features are needed according to the state of the battery.
How it Installs
The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to the battery bank, but not in the same compartment. The DC terminals are wired to the battery bank. There are several ways to connect the inverter to your RV's electrical system, but this will depend on your rig and how you want to use your inverter.

Today, we're gonna take a look at the Furrion Net-Zero 1000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter. Now, this inverters a product that's designed to take low voltage DC current from your vehicle, or other low voltage power supplies, and convert it to a standard 115 volt AC current, like you have in your home. This one is a pure sine wave inverter, so it offers AC power to operate higher end electronic equipment. Does use built-in-advance microprocessor for friendly user interface. Does have a built in transfer switch with a transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds. It does have a LED indicators right here, to let you know the operation status.
And, it does produce a high-quality pure sine wave, does give the low battery protection, over-voltage protection, over-load protection, over-temperature protection, and also battery reverse protection. The AC output short circuit protection does give you low standby current, and it is a hard-wire AC connection, which makes it very easy to install. Safety standards this meets is LTO. Listed UL 458 standards, and CSA standards.Specs on this, the battery voltage is 10 volts to 15 volts DC. The AC bypass input is 100 volts to 120 volts AC.
Output voltage is 100 volts to 120 volts AC. Output frequency is 60 plus or minus one hertz, and it's continuous rated power is 1000 watts, surge output power for two seconds is 2500 watts, maximum peek efficiency is 88%. It does have a circuit breaker, which is a 15 amp circuit breaker right here. Has an on and off switch also. The transfer relay rating is 16 amps.
Operation temperature for this inverter is 32 degrees fahrenheit to 104 degrees fahrenheit. And, just to give you a measurement on this, the overall length from this end all the way to where the connections stick out is 16 3/5 inches long. The width on it, including the mounting brackets on the bottom, is gonna be 9 5/16 inches wide. The total heighth from the bottom to the very top is 4 7/16 inches deep. It does come with a nice instruction manual that they'll describe how to hook it up and how to operate it.
But, that should do it for the review on the Furrion Net-Zero 1000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter.

Review from a similar Net-Zero in RV Inverters
I bought this charger because it was supposed to charge lithium ion and lead acid batteries. Though it is technically true, this charger unfortunately is unable to fully charge such batteries, particularly lithium ion. The charge voltage never exceeded 13.3 volts, unless the battery was very depleted. To fully charge such batteries, voltage must approach over 14 volts, preferably 14.4 (depending on specific battery requirements). I contacted the manufacturer who took weeks to reply confirming the above.

What is the measure of a excellent converter? That you don't even know it is there. One year after installation, that is surely the case with this unit. I don't hear it, it is never hot, it is keeping the battery in great condition and it takes up very little space compared with what it replaced.
