Today we're taking a look at the Gustafson RV LED Ceiling Light. This ceiling light illuminates the interior of your RV or camper. It features the long-lasting, energy efficient LED's.This design burns brighter than incandescent bulbs. LEDs last loner and they're much more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.Now, I do want to point out that the bulb that is included with this unit is a really neat design. So, this is just like an accent piece and then your LED's are built into the base of the unit.
So, it features one, two, three, four, five, it's a six diode system, and then the bulb is just a glass tube, threads into place. And, towards the end of the video I'll hook it up to power and turn it on. You can see kind of what kind of effect that gives the light. But, it's just a really neat looking design that they've added to the unit.It has the frosted acrylic shade, which is included with the satin nickel trim ring, blends the unit together really well. Surface mount installation.
It's a steel and plastic construction. It's very strong and durable, but again, it has a satin nickel finishing for an extremely nice look. UL listed two wire design, so you have your white wire for ground, black wire for power, and it has the built in on and off switch, which gives you easy control to the on and off functions of the light.Now, taking a look at the overall dimensions, outside edge to outside edge of the shade is 11 inches in diameter. From the lip of the shade going at a straight line measurement up to the ceiling where it would install, that's 7 and 3/4 inches. And, then the base right here which makes contact with the ceiling, that is a 4 and 3/4 inch diameter base.We're going to go and hook it up to power.
That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting as well.Again, black wire is power, white wire is ground. So, you can see here that it has a really nice look to it. I really like the bulb on this unit. Again, it's a LED design, multi-diode design that really helps optimize the overall light output, and just offers really nice consistent light as well.Now we can hit that on and off light to turn the unit on and off.
LEDs also have a faster response time when compared to incandescents as well. And, that's going to do it for today's look at the Gustafson RV LED Ceiling Light.

Easily installed above the dinette table. Appropriate light for the area.
Everything went well. Very fast delivery. Looks very nice in the trailer. One odd thing was there were no screws with the lamp. Normally you get wire connectors and screws to match the lamp. I bought some at ACE, but that was the only issue. I will continue to purchase from etrailer in the future. Good people to work with.
Its a bit smaller than I thought it would be. But its really cool looking.
Purchased a new light for over dining table, love it, more light than expected, wish my other light were this bright, great delivery time even with it being during Xmas time.
