Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flare-It PEX T-connector fitting. This T-connector is going to connect your pipes and hoses in your RV fresh water plumbing system. So whether you're repairing leaky connections or installing new lines, this is gonna work great for you. This will work with the PEX pipes, the old gray PV pipes as well as the polyvinyl tubing. We do have the two half inch barbed connections that are gonna fit your pipes and hoses with a half inch diameter, as well as the one three quarter inch barbed connection fitting that's gonna fit with your pipes and hoses with a three quarter inch inner diameter.
So if you have your main three quarter inch line coming up, in and you need to go out to two half inch lines and this is gonna work great for you. Having those barbed connections with the compression end is going to allow you to get this installed without having to use any tools. So basically the way this will work, you'll just slide that compression fitting over your pipe and then you'll get that barbed in inside the pipe. And it might take a little bit of wiggling and quite a bit of pressure to get that put in place but you can do it by hand and then you'll just slide that compression fitting over. Once you get it close enough, you can start threading it on, tightening it down.
Now, I did this myself a couple nights ago with a different fitting just to see how that compression would work. And I gotta say I was very impressed and not only was it very simple and easy to install by hand, but it was a very secure fitting. While I installed it by hand, I actually had to use multiple tools to get it to come loose again. So it's a very secure fitting for you, giving you that nice connection that you obviously want to have when you're dealing with plumbing. So having all those fittings there is gonna allow you to get that connection that you need between your three quarter inch inner diameter pipe and your two half inch inner diameter pipes or hoses.
This is constructed of polyoxymethylene so it is going to be very durable and resistant to stress cracking. And overall, I think this is gonna be a great way to make those connections for your freshwater plumbing system. Now keep in mind, this is just one of the many options that we have available here at etrailer.com. So if you're needing different kinds of connections, if you've got two three quarter inch inner diameter hoses that you're needing to connect or something like that, we do have other options available for you. So make sure you're getting the right one for your setup.
And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
