Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Flare It PEXLock female adapter fitting. This RV freshwater plumbing adapter connects pipes in your RV freshwater plumbing system whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines. This is going to work with your PEX pipes, PERT tubing, and IAPMO approved poly vinyl pipes. This half inch crimp connection with this PEX lock clamp means that you are not going to need any specialized tools for a secure fit. And the reusable PEX lock clamp is installed with just a pair of pliers and it can be removed with a screwdriver.

So the half inch FPT connection is going to fit hoses or tubes with that half inch MPT fittings. And to install this, it's going to be really easy. You're just going to begin by sliding this PEX lock clamp over the end of the pipe. And my finger's going to fill in for the pipe there. And then you wanna make sure that this clamp is flush with the straight cut end of your pipe.

So you wanna make that flush. And then you're going to insert this fitting into the end of the pipe, and you wanna make sure that it meets the positive stop on the fitting. And then finally, you'll use a pair of pliers to squeeze the two ears of the clamp together until you hear a click or until the two ears overlap and engage each other. Now this connection is going to be very secure for you. We have been very impressed with how secure the connections have been on other Flair It fittings.

And then to remove this fitting, you're just going to carefully use a bladed screwdriver to remove this PEX lock clamp. And this durable fitting is reinforced to prevent any cracks from stress.
