Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Flair-It PEXLock 90-Degree male elbow fitting. This RV-freshwater plumbing 90-degree elbow coupler is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. Whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines. This is going to work with your PEX pipes, PERT tubing, and IAPMO approved polyvinyl pipes.
This 1/2" crimp connection with PEXLock clamp means you don't need any specialized tools to get a really nice, tight, secure fit. And this reusable PEXLock clamp is installed with just a pair of pliers and then can be removed with something like a screwdriver. Now the 1/2" MPT connection is going to fit hoses or tubes with 1/2" FPT fittings. And that 90 degree elbow, of course, is going to let the flow of water change direction without the risk of kinking your tubing. So to install this, you're going to slide this PEXLock clamp over the end of the pipe or the tube that you need to install this in.
You wanna make sure that it's flush with the straight cut end, and then insert the fitting into the end of the pipe, making sure that it meets the positive stop on the fitting. Then finally, you're going to use a pair of pliers to squeeze together the two ears on the clamp until you hear a click or until the two ears overlap and engage each other. And so then that connection is going to be very secure for you. We have overall been very impressed with how secure the connection was on other Flair-It fittings. So once you have this properly installed, you're not gonna have to worry about it.
It's gonna be really secure for you. Then if you ever need to remove the fitting, you're going to use a bladed screwdriver to remove this PEXLock clamp. And then it might take some doing to remove this fitting from that tube or from that pipe since you had such a tight, secure fit. So it might take some little bit of elbow grease to get that fitting out of that pipe. Now this durable fitting is reinforced to prevent any cracks from stress, and that's going to wrap up our brief look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
