Exactly as described. We purchased it for another use, extra water for our mules when we are traveling. We painted it to protect it from sun damage and placed it in the bed of our truck.It takes up very little room.

What RV Water Tanks Can be Used With Electric Water Pump
I reached out to my contact at Valterra, they confirmed that the fresh water tanks are for low pressure applications, however that's to fill the tank. You can use water pumps to get the water from the tank to the faucets. The water pump must be on the suction side of the tank, and the tank needs to be well vented to allow air to replace the water as it drains. Pumps should not be used to force water into the system from the tank, since it not designed to be a pressurized holding tank. I...

Why Can't Electric Pump be Used With Valterra Water Tanks
If you want to use an electric pump with the Valterra RV Water Tank # R8054 that is of course your choice but it would void the warranty and the tank itself is not designed to withstand the high pressure of an electric pump so I do not recommend it. This is a lightweight tank that is baffled for surge control and as such the manufacturer states it is a "low pressure application only." It has 3 ports on each side that can be punched out to give you multiple hookup options but you can definitely make your own. This tank should only be used as gravity fed or with a hand pump.
