This faucet includes 2 sets of mounting nuts. The black mounting nuts thread onto the shanks, whereas the gray quick-connect mounting nuts just slide right on. Depending on your preference, you could use either set of mounting nuts for installation. To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Then tighten the mounting nuts and washers against the underside of the counter, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.
