Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this weatherproof LED RV utility light with the clear lens and the nice chrome trim to it. Now this is a 5 5/8 inch diameter round weatherproof LED utility light which will produce a nice bright daylight white light to illuminate any interior/exterior area. It is a low profile design. It'll mount wherever you need a little extra light.
It's only about 3/4 of an inch tall and it is all in a nice, sealed, weatherproof housing and lens unit. Now I do wanna turn this light on. We have it hooked up to some 12 volt power just to show you the light itself. There's the light on. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see how bright the light is.
As we mentioned, they use LEDs 'cause they'll make great replacements for incandescent lights. They'll last 50 times longer and they're more efficient 'cause they'll provide brighter light with less power output. And of course, no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break. I'm gonna just zoom out to show you from a distance how much area light it gives off. It is a clear lens over 10 white LEDs.
Zoom back in. We'll turn back on our overhead lights. Turn off our power. Now the chrome bezel we mentioned right here gives a nice polished look to it. It is a surface mount design.
There's three holes back here. Now the hardwood to install it is not included. You would have to supply that. The distance between those mounting holes if you measure center to center, is 4 1/4 inches. The two wire pigtail that we got hooked up here includes a white ground wire, a red power wire. A few specs on this, again, the diameter is 5 5/8 inches, height 3 1/4 inches tall. The light type again, as you noticed, was daylight white, color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin, lumen output of 95 raw lumens, and the power draw of this light at 12 volts is 0.14 amps. But again, let's just go ahead and show you. We'll turn our light on, turn off overhead lights, and there's your nice, bright, very low profile light. That's gonna do it for the review on this weatherproof LED RV utility light with the clear lens and the nice chrome trim.

Surface mount - hardware not included. 2-Wire design. 10 LEDs.This looked like the exact same light that was on the larger Airstreams and the install was pretty easy. I tied it in with the awning lights so I can have extra light when the awning isn't out at night and now I can tell if the awning lights are on when the awning is retracted. Before there was no way for me to tell if the awning light button was accidentally pressed and draining the batteries all night.
