What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out the Lippert Thin Shade replacement. So this is gonna be just the shade portion, this isn't the full window kit. But if your window is ready for the thin shade, you can install this, and now you have some coverage for privacy. People can't see in, and it also blocks the sun. Let's check it out.
If your window is thin shade ready, then you can install this in here and have a shade to operate. Now, if it's not, you can still get the kit to fully replace your window, so you can add that together. But today we're just focusing on the shade itself. Easy to slide up or down. You can stop at anywhere you need to.
So if you just want some partial sun blockage but still wanna see outside the window, you can do that. If you want full blockage, you can bring it all the way down. It's really easy. Something I like about this shade is that it's inside the door, so it's not something that's hanging on the outside that's gonna hit against the side of the door if the wind hits it or every time you move the door. It's all internal here, and it works really good along this track it's on, plus it's not gonna come out of this window, so it's gonna stay in place all the time.
Here on the inside, I wanna show you how much blockage of the sun that the shade actually does. Not much is coming through at all. It lights up just a little bit, but you see there's no rays of sunshine getting through, so it's completely blocked. Overall, I like the thin shade. I like how easy it is to bring up or down.
I like that it stays in line on the track inside the door. Nothing hanging out here, making noise, or someone's gonna worry about traveling with it hitting against the door all the time. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, and I hope this helps.

Window shade upgrades your Thin Shade-ready RV entry door. Black, pleated sun shade allows you to maintain a cool coach by controlling the amount of sunlight entering through the window with easy sliding operation.Fairly easy to install. Best to remove plastic window frame to intall. Cannot understand why these are not installed at the factory to begin with!
This really works great! glad i ordered it.
Easy install and works perfect. I installed it upside down so I can lower it just a bit to more easily see who is at the door.
This shade works well for the intended purpose. Installation was easy and looks great when opened or closed. The only challenge is when opening the shade the folds can get out of sorts. We plan to keep it closed so it's not an issue for us.
Good quality material , easy install on pre-fit entry door window. Only issue the latches are fairly hard to latch shade into place
It's working just fine! I was a little put out that it didn't come as standard equipment on my trailer but that isn't Etrailer's fault. Etrailer carried what I needed and shipped within a good time frame so that I had it before our first trip last year with our new trailer. Oh, and I installed it myself while my hubby was working on something else. I will definitely order with Etrailer again.
Super simple to install - both doors done in less than 10 minutes! They provide that little extra sun shade that is so often needed along with the night privacy.
This shade fit out 1994 5th wheel travel trailer entry door. Works well by blocking out heat & light from sun.
Loving that shade. Our new 5th wheel camper has the same shades on all windows but the door had a plain window “ready” for this shade. Easy to install and works great!! Thank you.
Good product with the exception of the bottom sill end caps pushing the sill sidewalls out enough to make it a little tough to snap under the holding tabs, but with a little jockeying it around it went together. I am most pleased with etrailer's website packed with info and installation videos of their products and great customer service.
This was perfect for our needs. e trailer is the place we go for all of our RV needs
Works great! Keeps sun from shining through trailer door and provides privacy!
It doesn’t stay hooked in spot. It does it’s job but I am forever hooking it into its spot. Is there some way to get it to stay?
Works as intended. Took less than 5 minutes to install, even with not reading the instructions, installing backwards, then actually reading the instructions and installing it again.
Great product. Well designed and build quality. Five minute install on thin shade ready window. Fast shipping.
Installed this in 5 minutes, works perfect for the camper door shade.. was delivered within 5 business days as promised.
These shades are excellent! They are easy to install, open and close easily and provide blackout when closed. The arrived quicker than I expected.
the thin shade was so easy to install and I will sure enjoy the privacy now! thanks for the prompt service!
Works as it should. Too bad the manufacturer didn't make it standard. Piece of cake install.

Excellent addition for the entry door
Honestly, not as useful as I thought it would be. I find the fact the screen being in the way makes this product had to use but, it does it's job.

It looks like you can adjust the tension on the cords which make it harder for the blinds to move around. I attached a link that has the instructions with diagrams to make it easier to follow.
