Today on our camper, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Lippert component standard baggage door edge plate cover, part number LC314302. Keep your camper, or RV, safe, with the Lippert component standard baggage door edge plate cover. It's a standard size and it's made out of a durable metal construction, which will provide for a more secured door. Now that we've gone over the specs, I'll go ahead and show you how we got it installed. Now this is going to work as a great replacement for your old plate, or if it gets damaged or anything like that, and as you can see ours doesn't even have one. It's going to work with our latch here, as you can see. Let's go and take our hardware out, and we'll re-use it to put the plate back on. Then we can just grab our plate. You'll notice that it has a larger end and a small end here.

You're going to want the larger end to stick towards the camper, as you see here. You can see how it's going to fill in the position right where it needs to be. Then pretty simple, we'll just grab our hardware and run it back in. Now as you can see, with that installed, there's no interference when closing it and it's a more secured door.
