This T-style door holder keeps the entry door open so you have both hands free to load luggage, groceries, and other gear into your RV or camper. You can also use this holder on an access or cargo compartment to prevent the door from crashing into your back or head while you're rummaging for supplies.
The 2-piece holder easily mounts to the door and exterior wall of your RV with self-tapping screws (not included). You should make sure that the 2 pieces are lined up before bolting them down. Once installed, the arm on one bracket will catch on the slot on the other bracket to hold the door open for you. If you're especially worried about your RVs paint getting scratched, a rubber bumper (LC381405 - sold separately) will prevent the door from opening too far and hitting your RV.

Today we're going to be taking a quick look at the Kwikee T style door holder for RVs.Now as anybody with an RV knows, a lot of times your door is going to swing open, but you want it to stay open, especially if you're loading in any cargo, your suitcases, or bringing out anything and you want it to just stay propped open.This is going to attach to your door and then to the side of your RV to help you do that.It's a pretty easy install. It comes in four parts. We'll have the arm that we have to attach in there, and then a little small clip that holds that in place.So to assemble it, it's pretty easy. You'll just have to mount this portion to your door. You'll want to have it all assembled first, so you just slide this in. It goes in the slot, and then this smaller portion just snaps into place.
So pretty simple to get in place there. Actually it goes the other way. There we go.And then you could mount this onto your door, and then you'll have the other portion on the outside of your RV so that it can fit in that slot.This is going to have a six inch arm, so it'll give you six inches of space between your door and your RV.It does not come with any hardware, so you will need to provide that on your own.Pretty easy installation though. You'll just have to mount up each portion of that wherever you need it on your RV.Again, the arm is six inches long. Our brackets themselves are about three inches long by one and three quarters inches, as you can see there.
And that's going to be the same for the other portion: three inches by one and three quarter. As far as the overall height of our wall mount, it's about seven eighths of an inch tall. And our door mount is about three quarters of an inch tall.So it's a plastic construction. These are going to be in polar white, which is pretty much just a pure white color.And this product is made in the U.S.A.And that's going to do it for our quick look at the Kwikee T style door holder for RVs.

Great product made in the USA. It’s a direct replacement for my existing holder which was broken. Other off shore holders available have different hole spacing so would require new holes to be drilled in my rv door. Very happy with this unit and arrived in 10 days being shipped to Canada. Price was excellent being half price of [another company].

Working fine. No issues.
I bought this keeper as a back-up, for future use. Quality looks good, just like the original equipment on my truck camper.
A little difference in mounting holes but no big deal
