2-Piece holder mounts to the door of your entry or cargo compartment and the exterior wall of your RV or camper. This enables you to keep the door open and keep both hands free for loading luggage, groceries, and other supplies into your RV.
Features:
Specs:
This T-style door holder keeps the entry door open so you have both hands free to load luggage, groceries, and other gear into your RV or camper. You can also use this holder on an access or cargo compartment to prevent the door from crashing into your back or head while you're rummaging for supplies.
The 2-piece holder easily mounts to the door and exterior wall of your RV with self-tapping screws (not included). You should make sure that the 2 pieces are lined up before bolting them down. Once installed, the arm on one bracket will catch on the slot on the other bracket to hold the door open for you. If you're especially worried about your RVs paint getting scratched, a rubber bumper (LC381405 - sold separately) will prevent the door from opening too far and hitting your RV.

Today we're going to take a quick look at the Kwikee T-Style Door Holder for RVs.Now, this is going to be an easy way to prop your door open whenever you're loading any cargo, maybe your groceries, luggage, anything like that into your RV and you want to keep that door open. This just mounts to your door and then the other end will mount to the wall. You can pretty much mount either one on either side. It's up to you, but basically it's just going to be a little arm that catches in place and holds that door open. The only thing you need to do is mount it in place with four screws on each of those brackets. It doesn't come with any hardware, so you will have to pick that up on your own. Just some self-tapping screws will probably do the trick there. The arm is going to be 4" long, so that'll give us 4" of space in between our door and our RV.
It's made of a plastic construction. It comes in white as you can see. Again, our arm is 4" long from end to end. The brackets themselves are both 3" long by 1-3/4". As far as the height on the arm bracket, it's about 3/4" tall.
The other one is a little bit taller. At the tallest point, it's about 7/8" tall. The distance between our mounting holes is about 2-1/4" or, excuse me, 2-1/2" center to center, and then about 1-1/8. The diameter of our mounting holes is about 3/8".So, pretty easy to install. Again, you do have to pick up that hardware on your own, but that's going to help you prop open your door, keep it out of your way.
This is going to come in three parts. We'll have our small keeper there to keep that arm in place. If we just push that in, it'll pop out of place and allow us to take out the arm. So, you do have to assemble that. You'll want to have it assembled before you have it mounted in place.
This just fits through, sits down in that bracket, and then we can pop this small keeper in place. You'll want to have the tabs facing outward so that they can apply pressure on our arm, as you can see there. This product is also made in the USA. And that's going to do it for our look at the Kwikee T-Style Door Holder for RVs.

I would prefer to have the receiver end have a snap in for the post instead of just loose fitting. Other than that it works so far. Service at etrailer is great. Thank you, G.A.
The Kwikee T-Style RV Door Holders were exact replacements for the door holders on our Tracer travel trailer...
etrailer is the best place to order replacement parts, and their service is fast, and totally reliable... GREAT Service - something that is really hard to find, these days.
The only thing wrong with these door holders, is the screw holes were about one hole-width off , longways, from the old ones they replaced. The screws went in, but at a slight angle. This is probably just due to the chinese plastic they are made from.
Also, they didn't come with the replacement screws, nor with the putty to replace the existing older dried out putty.
I would be glad to have paid more in order to get metal ones -- you know -- the ones like they used to make???? - those that lasted longer in the hot sun!!

The plastic is beginning to break down in the son, and the door holders are changing color. If I can get metal ones, the next time, I will.
Great fit, I don't have tools to send photos. It was a door latch for a trailer. Very similar to original. Looks, fits great!

it suited the purpose and we sold the trailer looking much better as the original one discolored. Slight modifications made in placement of holes, and looked great. Thanks for selling detail touches that you may not make the most profit on! Very satisfied.
I was surprised at just how easy it was to find what I needed on your site. Was a breeze! The price was great and it arrived earlier than expected. Will keep this in mind when I need anything else.
