Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen, here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR products, rooster catch for RV screen doors. So this little guy Is just going to help to keep that catch In place and let you open and close your door with ease, so that little rooster part kind of catches In the angled part. And whenever you want to open It up, just press on that lever and It'll let you release and open the door. And then whenever It comes back over, It'll push that little rooster out of the way and open or allow you to close that door.
Of course, It's a little easier whenever It's actually mounted to something rather than me just playing with It In my hand here. But It comes with the hard-work to get this Installed. So we'll have two screws on either side of our little rooster guy, and then we'll have another two or maybe just a single screw on the other side here. So It kind of depends on where you want this mounted up.As far as the size, side to side for our bracket for the rooster portion, It's about an 1 wide, as far as that bracket goes. Front to back, from his little tail to his beak, It's about an 1 long.
And then from top to bottom, about an 1 tall. And then that handle portion for the tail, we want to keep going with this metaphor, It's about wide. The distance between those mounting holes center to center Is about . And then for our other bracket, it's just about an Inch and sixteenth long, maybe just over an 1 long by about wide and about deep.The slot on there for the mounting hole is about quarter Inch long, and then our screws, get four screws and they're each about long. So you can see there.
These are constructed out of a zinc plated steel. So we shouldn't have any issues with rust or corrosion. Should stay looking nice and working properly for a long time. And it is also backed by a lifetime warranty from Jr products. But that's going to do it for our look at the Jr products rooster catch for RV screen doors.

I deal with customer service agents every day and etrailer representatives may be the best I’ve came across yet. Couldn’t speak more highly of etrailer.
Latch works fine. The screws are very cheap and broke trying to screw into screen door, even after drilling pilot holes.
