What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this door catch from JR products. So what this is going to do is you're going to install it on your rig to help you hold your basin door, just like that. Let's check it out. It's going to be a great replacement part for an old catch that maybe worn out or it doesn't have the same spring anymore. Or if you just don't have any on your rig, you just put these by your door, and I'll show you again; they're spring loaded, so it's going to catch right there on the door.
You can get in there with both hands, get whatever you need out of there; you don't have to worry about holding this up and reaching for whatever you're looking for. And then when you're done, just let it go. It shuts itself. It doesn't flap around and stays in there. Nice because of that spring, so it's not gonna be moving around while you're driving.
Now it does come in a few different colors. We have white, then there's a colonial white, which is kind of like an off-white or a beige. We have gray, and also there's black. So whatever one fits with your rig better, check them out on our website. When you get it, it's gonna come with two of these, and it's gonna come with four screws.
Now there's gonna be three holes on the inside, so if you're planning on using all three holes on both of them, you're gonna have to pick up some extra hardware. Speaking of hardware, they're not that hard to install. We're going to replace an existing one today, See how I did it. Here's the side of the rig. You can see where our old one was; we've already removed that, and it's as easy as just lining up with those same holes and adding the hardware.
So kind of got to line up, not going to use all three of them. Just going to use two on this one and two on another one. Before we get that lined up with the existing holes. Then run them in. Just like that; you got it installed. Set the screwdriver aside, test it on our door. Holds it just fine. I think it's a great option to have on your rig, just makes it easier getting in this door and get what you need, you can use both hands. You don't have to worry about this hitting you in the top of that head. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and I hope this helped..
