The lock can be keyed alike to match other Global Link locks.This lock fit out 2006 Circle J three horse trailer tack room door PERFECTLY! It took my husband about 10 minutes to put it in. The salesman whom I ordered it from knew what he was talking about when he said it would fit. We are so happy. This was after trying one that our local horse trailer dealership said would fit, but it didn't!
I purchased this product for several reasons. The first being the latches they are replacing are 12 years old and the paint is peeling and I am really fussy. The second reason is the matching lock option. I now only have one key to keep track of. You ever stick the front key in the tear lock? I have, you have to dismantle the whole assembly to get the key out. My overall impression of the product is very good. Heavy feeling, nice powder coat finish, all the new hardware included to complete a very easy installation. If the coating doesn’t hold up I will do a follow-up 1 year review. Of course, always excellent service from etrailer, with immediate shipping.

I had to modify my Chinook camper shell broken back door latch. Found this door locking latch kit online. Made it fit. Works perfectly! Very pleased!
Doesnt exactly fit. Will need to Seal around it better. Does not come with a door seal gasket. Mine removed was Square on the outside and as you can see on the photo shown the new one is not. Barely covers the opening even though it said it would fit over that opening. Had I more time I would return it.
I will make it fit because I needed it and its an older trailer so I dont need much. Some good RTV sealant should do it.
I needed to replace my failed door handle/lock on my travel trailer, and this was an exact fit. Seems to be well made, and the color worked out perfect. My representative Alex J. was very helpful and took the time I needed to be confident I was ordering the correct part, or at least the best option for my application. Also, being that I was on a trip, I had it sent to a different location than I was, so there were some special shipping instructions. Not a problem for these guys, it actually arrived earlier than anticipated, and I received an email from Alex alerting me it was there. All around positive experience and will definitely make them my first call when I need parts in the future.
Ordering on etrailer.com was very easy and they made it very clear that I was ordering the correct item. I actually received the order a day earlier than it was scheduled to arrive.I unpacked and installed the entry door kit within 5 minutes while I was Barbecuing my dinner.
The door latch that I ordered fit exactly and was identical to the one that was on my 2000 model fifth wheel that I have completely restored.
Recently they tried to brake in the trailer I have in a RV storage facility. They cut the padlock on the door, they broke the internal lock in the door latch but they could not break the door lock deadbolt. So then they tried to steal the whole trailer by cutting another two locks I had in the hitch. They gave up and stole somebody else's vehicle after braking in several RVs. Not mine!
I was lucky I installed this all metal door lock last Summer. So I bought another exact model to replace the damaged one. Fantastic product! This was the ultimate test.
I bought a used RV and there was only one key, with no way to order more. So, I replaced the lock and was able to order extra keys. It was easy to install and works perfectly! Everything about working with etrailer.com was easy. I'll order from them again.

Just fine! The lock works every tine and I love having a number of extra keys. Ive had no issues with this product!
We were very pleased with this replacement lock for our 5th Wheel. It looked identical to the original. Installing it was fairly easy. Did have to shave a bit off the door restraint to get it to fit. The new lock was a tiny bit larger than the original, but did not cause any problem. Took about ten minutes total. Felt the quality was good. Works well so we are very pleased.
was told that this would be a replacement...it was not

Well, we definitely do not want to mislead anyone. I would be more than happy to assist you in finding the correct door latch for your application. These latches are not exactly replacement parts although they can be if this is what you had on your trailer originally.
It is a very good door handle.
The unit was priced right and is as advertised. The handle and lock assembly fits perfectly, was easy to install, and works beautifully. It was shipped quickly also. I would definitely deal with and purchase from e-trailer again.
I removed the old handsets and the new ones slipped right into place. I just had to make a small adjustment so the dead bolt on one door would engage the door jamb. A very easy and smooth installation.

The lock sets have been trouble free. They have been given a good work out since I installed them.
Super fast shipping product is sturdy And Madewell not cheap overseas stuff Etrailer is the only place I will buy parts from for my RV if you purchase what you need here you'll be as happy as me

Poor workmanship! One of the two locks failed within days of installation so now only the bolt works. The housing is good but the vendor needs to search for a competent lock builder.

I was concerned that it would not fit, but it apparently does. (I haven't installed it yet, but I held it up to the old one and it looks like it will fit). I am very impressed with the quality of the lock. It is very heavy (heavier than the original) and sturdy. The purple plastic cover on the keys was a nice touch to make the keys stand out and be hard to lose.
Marcus handled my change of order like a champ. What with such excellent customer service and high quality parts, keeps me coming back to etrailer.

So in the time since install we have lived and travelled in the RV for 7 months of it. These locks look as good as the day they were installed. No scratches, no peeling paint. Doors close with ease, no slamming required. The option to have them keyed together has dav d a lot of time. I recomend.
