How to Measure Your Travel Trailer

How to Measure Your Class C RV

To determine the proper fit, measure the length (not including the trailer tongue) and sidewall height (undercarriage to the top of the natural roof line). This cover is designed to accommodate rooftop accessories such as AC units and vents.

Choose Cover by Climate

Adco Climate Map

The climate where you are storing your travel trailer will help determine which cover to choose. This Tyvek All-Climate + Wind cover is designed for use in all climates located on the map above.

Adco Travel Trailer Cover

This contour-fit cover helps keep your travel trailer dry and well protected when not in use. It features a 3-layer DuPont Tyvek top and 3-layer polypropylene sides to protect against sun, rain, mold, and mildew in a all climates. Elastic corners and a rope cinching system allows you to draw the cover in tight over your vehicle. Zippered panels on passenger's side offer access to your trailer during storage. Includes 4 Tyre Gards to protect your vehicle's wheels when stored.

Fabric Guards Against Elements

Adco Tyvek

The top panel is constructed of triple-layer DuPont Tyvek fabric that is stronger and more UV resistant when compared to standard polypropylene covers. It blocks 99.8 of damaging UV rays while keeping the interior cool through infrared heat reflection. It also prevents 98 percent of dirt and dust particles from reaching the trailer's surface. Additionally, the fabric beads water to eliminate pooling and ice build-up that can damage your trailer or cover. And the material resists acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, dirt, dust, and other forms of environmental pollution that cause black streaks.

The sides of the cover are made of a non-abrasive, triple-layer polypropylene. This high-performance, non-woven fabric is water resistant and breathable to prevent the growth of mold and mildew.

Air Vents Help Cover Breathe

Adco Class C Air Vents

Air vents on the sides allow air to escape the cover in moderate winds to prevent billowing. These built-in vents also help the cover breathe to prevent mold and mildew.

Straps and Elastic Corners Ensure Snug Fit

Adco Corner and Cinching System

The cover is designed to fit snugly over your travel trailer for a clean look and better protection from the elements. Elasticized corners grip your vehicle tightly, and they are reinforced to reduce wear and prevent tears and snags. Cinch ropes in front and back remove slack and reduce billowing.

Adco Strap and Buckles

Weighted straps with buckles run beneath your vehicle to secure the cover in place. The weighted ends allow you to easily toss the straps from one side of the vehicle to the other. Once buckled, the straps can be pulled tight to ensure the cover is securely fastened so it won't blow away with the wind.

Zippered Panels Offer Access

Adco Tyvek

The cover features zippered panels on the passenger's side to allow access to the interior of your vehicle while the cover is installed.

Storage and Protection

Adco Class C accessories

A ladder cap, rain gutter spout protectors, 4 Tyre Gards, and a storage bag are included with the cover. Place the cap on top of your vehicle's ladder and the protectors over your rain gutter spouts to reduce wear on the cover. The Tyre Gards protect your wheels while trailer is in storage. The bag allows you to store the cover compactly in your vehicle or garage when not in use.

Video Transcript for Adco Travel Trailer RV Cover Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the ADCO RV covers for travel trailers. See etrailer.com for your specific size. Sun, moisture and snow can all take a toll on your travel trailer especially while in storage. Protect your investment with an ADCO RV cover for travel trailers. It features a Tyvek all-climate top to protect it from the elements. The sides are made out of a durable polypropylene.

It beads water on contact. Check it out. It's designed to accommodate our rooftop accessories as well. The vented sides and the breathable top keeps moisture from accumulating, preventing mold and mildew. It has reinforced corners to prevent snags and tears.

The zippered panels allow us full access to our travel trailer even while the cover remains in place. ADCO has also included tire covers for temporary use. To remove it, just reverse your steps. At the end, fold it up, and you get a nice bag to stow it in when not in use. Now that we've gone over all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. First thing we need to do is unroll it and unfold it.

As we unroll it and we find our tire covers, we can just set those aside. Now as we unfold it, we also need to be sure we find the front and the rear. The rear's going to go to the back. The front's going to go towards the front where the coupler is. Now as we unroll it, we also need to find the top.

The top is going to be all white. Now we can go around, locate all of our straps, and we need to unroll them. Now what we want to do is fold our sides in so it's inside out. Then we're going to roll it up starting from the rear towards the front. Now we can carry it over to the rear of our camper. Now what we need to do, with it rolled up, we'll grab the front of our cover, and we're going to head up the ladder. Now since our ladder's on the side, we're just going to climb up it from the side, but it's going to unroll as we're pulling it towards the front of our travel trailer. With us on the roof, we're just going to pull it towards the front of our travel trailer. Once we get to the very front, we'll begin unfolding it, finding the corners first, and then working our way back. Now the front is going to hang off far over the edge here. Now as we get to the corners, what we want to do is do the corner opposite our ladder first, then climb down our ladder, and pull the cover over the last corner. With us on the ground, we can finish pulling down our sides and square up our cover. Now we can go around and begin securing our straps. We're going to start on the bottom corner here. Now it is a cinch strap, so as we tighten it here, it's going to tighten up that other corner. What we want to do is we want to bring it this way. Now it doesn't have to be extremely tight, and you want to make sure that it stays around the other corner. Then I'm going to adjust my buckle and then just plug it in. Here in the front, we've got two cinch straps. We'll do the front one first and then we'll do the side, so same thing as before. I'm just going to pull it nice and snug, adjust our buckle, and then plug it in. Now we can just work our way up securing our straps. Everything we do here in the back we're going to do in the front. The top corners are just cinch straps again. With our front and rear straps done, we can begin running our bottom straps. To do that, ADCO has provided us with a special weighted strap to make it easy to get this strap here to the other side. We're just going to plug it in and then toss it underneath to the other side. Here on the other side, we can just disconnect it, connect it to our cover, and then pull it tight. We're going to repeat this same process for the remaining two. With all the straps in place, we got you covered. That's going to complete our look at the ADCO RV cover for travel trailers.

Very quick shipping. I got what I ordered and am eager to try it out. It looks like it is much better than the Lego style blocks offered elsewhere. I like the fact that I don't have to guess how many blocks I will need, run it up on the blocks I have put together and hope I don't fall off the back side and have to try again. That happened with the Lego style. I will try to update my review after I have tried it out. 447277

We have a 2018 Keystone Laredo 335MK (38 Ft. total length) and the ADCO RV works great. Since the trailer sits outside at our storage location I feel better covering it to help protect for the elements, I have checked the trailer after it rained for 3 days and the RV was dry under the cover. ADCO makes a super product and etrailer is always great to work with. I highly recommend this cover for anyone who wants to take care of your RV and help keep it looking like new. 568336

generally still satisfied, this will be its second winter. Only concern is the light duty material on fronts and sides. some rodent damage to front, material is very thin and posed no problem for mice? Ive duct taped the damage and will make sure and store in a closed container next Spring, makes me wonder though if I wont be replacing it again in a few years. I note comments from Travis 112017 re tire covers made of thin material, this is the same issue I have with the front side of the cover.

It seems to do its job, covered well and nice straps on the bottom with venting to allow for the wind. Although you have to pad even moderate corners very well with much more than what they provide as it tears very easily. I used swim noodles. But any little exposed corners or radius tore through. 692318

Cover lasted about 8 months. Started tearing along the roof section. Finally gave way. ADCO sent me a new one under warranty ([small] shipping fee). I installed that one this weekend. Photos show the old one splitting down the top and ending up on both sides of the trailer and the newly installed cover. 670650

I like it! It looks good on for sure. Although. if you have ANY rough spots on your RV it will rub a hole in the cover. I’ve only put it on and have yet to remove it so hopefully there will be no surprises. Tip: before you cover your rig be sure and treat or protect any rough spots on your RV. I use cut to size plastic tubing with a slice down the side to cover any questionable area... it grips naturally and is easy to put on and remove. 670695

I am really happy with the quality of the product and the ease of installation. The only recommendation I have is I would think it would come from the factory rolled up ready to install. Otherwise, no complaints and I am happy with the cover. There is plenty of tie-downs and grommets etc. 669802

Purchased based on product description and reviews by other purchasers. Price was competitive. I viewed etrailer video and read the instructions that came with the cover. The video was the most instructive. Doubled checked the length of my trailer before unpacking the cover. The cover length was 6 inches longer than my trailer. My wife and I installed the cover and didn’t file for divorce afterwards – it was that easy. The pads that are meant to protect the cover from the rain gutter downspouts had to be taped in place; the draw strings didn’t work too well but no big deal. 548962

a year later the cover looks new and the RV trailer underneath is as dust and dirt free as the day it was born.

eTrailer I give 5 stars too. Best price I found on the Internet with quick shipping. This is my second 34813 cover. The first one I purchased used was around 5 years old sealed in the box. Motorhome is covered around 8 months of the year. I got close to three years before the Florida sun took its toll on the cover. Tyvex was starting to get very brittle and top seam came apart. The newer design elements are OK and will probably last through the warranty period. For me its worth the money to keep RV out of sun. Think I'll try silicon seam sealer on top stitching twice a year. 550484

Comments

Still holding up good. Think Adco could [] the new cinching straps on the four roof corners and instead fortify the rear bumper corners with an additional layer. This has been the first area to have holes on both covers Ive owned. The stitching has started unraveling near zipper for side door. Still worth having RV covered.

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

A little scary at first because when the shipping box came it looked fine but after opening that box, the RV cover box inside looked like it had been dragged behind my truck, then had a elephant sit on it!!! It looked very bad, torn up with clear tape over half of the box! Right away I called the good people at etrailer and they were also concerned about the contents but said to check everything out and if I had a problem with anything, they would stand behind it and take care of it! Well I took inventory on the different components and did a quick look at the cover as best I could rolled up and it looked fine? The next morning I got the trailer set in place, up on stand and gave it a good cleaning. I let everything dry out real good before I rolled it out on the roof and slipped it on. It fit perfect and looked great!!! Wasn't sure how this was going to turn out after seeing the box in that shape but whoever boxed it up must have checked it out quite well and had the confidence it was in A-1 shape for whomever would receive it! Well, I was that person and I'm good with it and very satisfied with my purchase. The only reason i'm giving it a 4 out of 5 is of course because of the way it came to me but etrailer staff stood behind it and said the would make it right if I was dissatisfied in any way! I'm good, Thank you e-trailer... 686925

ADCO Products met or exceeded my expectations. I have a 2019 Rockwood 2109S trailer, actual box length is 19’, I purchased the next size up cover (43841) - (20’1” to 22’0”), it not only covering my trailer box but also my propane tanks, ladder, and spare tire. Their attention to detail, is appreciated. They included covers for my rain gutter ends, extra grommet holes in strategic locations, and reinforcement on all corners, and four tire covers. I would happily recommend their products. 655273

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I've had this cover for about a year. I've been very pleased so far. I was told by several friends that a cover would enhance the chances of mildew/mold. However, I have not had that problem to date. The material of construction allows a lot of breathing. The cover keeps my RV clean and protected from the sun!! The only reason I rated four stars instead of five is it is a little longer than what I think it should be, thereby preventing a perfect fit. This makes it a little harder to do a good tie-down and with high winds, it tends to shift a little. Overall, it's a great product and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!! 642133

The adco all weather RV cover is better than what I expected. The camper is fully covered with room for movement; however, the cover wraps tightly in places where it is needed. I also like the access to the inside of the camper without having to remove the cover. Once again etrailer you have made me a satisfied customer. Thanks etrailer. PS I was able to observe cover in an extreme weather event just hours after installation of very high winds and heavy rain; and, the cover did the job it is advertised to do. Thanks etrailer once again!!! 640329

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I would not recommend this cover. I purchased this cover for my travel trailer and in less than a year the seams started separating on the roof and the material in the front was deteriorating. I contacted ADCO and sent pictures and they agreed to send a replacement for $35. Since the new cover didn't make it one year I am reasonably sure the replacement will not last as well. They did offer to upgrade my new cover for a considerable price increase, however I felt they weren't giving me full credit for the damaged one. I asked how long the new cover would be guaranteed for and the reply was no guarantee, as this was the last one they were going to replace. I would not recommend this cover or ADCO because of their policies and product. 653695

Because i don't have a ladder on my trailer it was a little difficult to install the way the videos show however it wasn't that hard. Like the cover and the convenience of access panel for the ability to get into the motor-home while the cover is on. However, it's made with very thin material and ripped a small hole in the top of the cover when it hooked on A/C unit during installation. We have a 34'3" motor-home and went with the 36 ft size as the manufacture recommends going to larger cover when size is close, but there is too much excess cover hanging off the back which flaps in the wind, even with the straps pulled to there limits. Would go with the smaller cover next time. 625537

This cover has met all of y expectations in the last year. It's simple to install and remove and the quality of the design and fabric is really nice. It's in place on my trailer all of the time when we're not traveling and looks nice too. I looked into several types of covers and this one seemed to be a bargain as well as a well made product. I had a few questions prior to the purchase and the etrailer staff went above and beyond to be sure I was taken care of. I referred back to their video a few times too, and having this resource is a plus. Thank you all !! 634749

Cover fit was good with plenty of tie down straps to hold securely. The zipper oppening is nice for re-entering the trailer without having to partially remove cover. We used tennis balls on all gutter spouts and any where there was something remotely sharp but still rubbed through the cover in 2 places a moth after installed. Like the white heavier top portion to protect and reduce heat. Yes I would recommend this cover and hope to get 3 years out of it. Doubt there are better covers at this price out there. The sun will take it's toll on any cover regardless of price payed, at this price it can be replaced . 615932

Thanks for the email. The product over all is great and held up well over the first winter. It goes on easy enough for one person, product looks great, and the zipper are in a perfect location if I ever need to get insides. My only issues are three tears. I ended up ripping a buckle off the first tire cover I put on, the storage bag ripped when I picked it up from storage and I got a small tear in the bottom of the cover this year when covering the camper.

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

ADCO trailer cover was bought to protect my new trailer from the winter sun, snow and falling debris from trees. Have used it for the first year and found it to be quite resilient. Cover is still in perfect condition after a snowy and windy winter here in NJ. Many campers complain about rips and tears especially at the corners near the rain spouts on all brands of covers. I used 4 tennis balls, slit and pushed onto the rain gutter spouts to prevent any tearing from wind and abrasion and it worked great. No damage to the cover was noted. The zipper panels allow access to the various storage compartment doors and the entry door. Zippers worked well. Wheel covers included in the purchase of the cover also worked well. Happy with the purchase and recommend it. 500846

Comments

Has been two NJ winters and trailer cover is still in great shape, no complaints! I did buy one that was one size larger than I needed but that was my fault in estimating the actual size of the trailer. Talked my friend with the same trailer into buying the same cover of the correct size and he has no complaints either. Is holding up well with no tears even at the corners. I installed old tennis ball over the rain gutter spouts at each corner. Corners are double layer to help with the strength of the cover. I would certainly recommend this cover for a travel trailer.

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

My cover has survived a very windy New England Winter with little wear. I had used pieces of gray pipe insulation to pad the gutter spouts, and snugged it down nice and tight. Yes that is snow, the snow arrived before I was ready for it. But making a snowball around the weight to throw the tie downs from side to side made it easier to find them in the green grass under my RV. It had several different events with winds of 50 to 60 mph to contend with, the worst it did was toss some snow buildup off the roof. I did have wear and tear at the exhaust pipe. Now I know to put a plastic flower pot over it, and I'll use a pair of larger flower pots on the rear bumper to prevent those friction locations too. Yes I'll buy one when this on finally wears out. The videos were helpful in putting it on and taking it off. I didn't try to put it in the bag provided. It is folded up in a 32 gal trash can with wheels because it is just easier to move around. 633107

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Delivered in 4days, easy enough to install myself. Alot of straps to tie down and cinch cover. I did open package in driveway to orient cover and fold to make installation easier from roof. I liked the little covers for gutter extensions too. 501644

Had a few corners rip. I added more material to bad areas. Hope it hold up at least 2 more years.

Very pleased with the cover. Easy to install, got more than I expected in tie downs, and wheel covers, even one for the spare wheel. Received the cover very quickly. Ordered a longer cover than I needed but had absolutely no problems. 590122

So far so good. It was very easy to put on our trailer. Winter has just begun so we'll see in spring. I love how it has the zipper sides so if we need to get into the trailer at any time we can. 588680

Have not put my ADCO Cover on as of yet but know others that have purchased the cover from etrailer with great success. I could not believe on how fast that Etrailer answered questions and the shipping was great. Will be using etrailer for other things I need for my camper 571805

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I just installed the cover today on my 2019 Intech 24' Lite enclosed trailer and all I can say is that it fits very well and I like the all the built in features of the cover. I can see where the trailers sharp edges on a windy day will cause problems but I will put something over them to prevent this. I did the install alone and it was a lot of " up and down" the step ladder (can't walk on the roof of this trailer) but I got it done. Installing this was somewhat of a tight fit but once on the trailer and the packing wrinkles smoothed out I can see where it would fit a 25' -25.5 ft box much tighter. It better be a warm day to install it on a 26! Overall I'd say buy this and be happy! 579857

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

So far so good. We have had an ADCO cover before and were pleased with our purchase. Three year warranty. I figure it will cost us about $125.00 per year to protect our camper. The sun and weather is tough on the cover. Rather the cover than my new camper. Will post some pictures after we install it. Love the price and service from etrailer. Easy to order, great service and they followed the shipment all the way to my door. Got an email to today telling me it was delivered. Got my mother-law to slide it in the house since I knew it was sitting on the front porch. Very, very pleased with the whole experience. Well done etrailer. 474303

Morning. It has not been on the camper 24/7 because we were using it. However it has been on for the last two months with about a month to go before we uncover it and begin to camp again. It has held up well even the days we had gale force winds. So I am very pleased. Thanks for the follow-up.

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I have been using Adco covers for my Newmar fifth wheel since shortly after I purchased it. My fifth wheel was new in January 2007 so I have had it right at 12 years. This is my 4th cover. I get 3-4 years out of the covers. My first cover back in 2007 seemed to have the best material and lasted 4 years and every year after the material seems to get thinner. I will be surprised if this one last 3 years as the material is so thin on the sides. I have never had issues with the top material. The design of the cover has improved over the years with strap placement and overall fit. Design is well thought out now. 584906

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

This is a good product for snow or rain. It fit nice and tight and strapped down easily. If used in a secluded place with no air forces it would be just fine. HOWEVER, it will not withstand winds of sustained 35-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH or higher. It ripped out along the zippers first, then along the seams on the opening side. The rest stayed intact. I felt it useless to try to repair so it was removed and trashed. 597786

I'm happy with the cover. It was put on today. When I went to Adco website and used the make and model based sizing tool it suggested one size bigger than I had picked out for myself. I went with their suggestion. I wish I had stuck with the size based solely on the length of camper. The places that are reinforced are not in the corners where they are meant to be. 455818

  • Storage Cover for 2016 Forest River Vibe Extreme Lite 315BHK Trailer
  • According to the specs for your 2016 Forest River Vibe Extreme Lite Trailer it features an overall length of 34-3/4 feet. It might be a good idea to verify this by taking a quick measurement on your trailer. Keep in mind that when looking for a cover fit on a trailer, you will not include the hitch/tongue when measuring the trailer's total length. For your trailer I recommend looking at the Adco RV Cover # 290-34847. This is an all-climate cover that will work great to protect the trailer...

  • The correct storage cover that I recommend for your 2015 Keystone Bullet Premier Ultra Lite 34BHPR is the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover part # 290-52247. This cover will be a perfect match for the extra long length of your trailer and it provides phenomenal protection from the elements due to its polypropylene panels that are both durable and yet lightweight to allow your camper to breathe. • Cover Recommendation for Park Model Trailer that is 35 Feet Long
  • Your Park Model Trailer is basically a camper trailer with a slide out which we have several covers that will work well. Since your trailer is 35 feet long the # 290-34847 would work great as it is designed for 34-37 foot long trailers. The slide out of your trailer would need to be slid in though.

  • Best Storage Cover for 2019 Forest River Cherokee 294BH For Wet Climate
  • For your 2019 Forest River Cherokee 294BH the best cover for a wet climate is the Adco Tyvek All-Climate Cover part # 290-34847 as this is the correct size and the best for protection against rain. It's not completely waterproof as that would mean that it could hold moisture in which would allow mold and mildew to build up but it does bead water off of it which repels nearly all of it and is also breathable to allow any moisture to dry up.

  • 2016 Premier Ultra Lite Bullet 29RKPR Storage Cover Recommendation
  • When the RV covers are rated by length they take into account the standard accessories that they'll have like roof top AC units, spare tires, awnings etc. So the best way to pick out a cover based on length is like the picture I attached and from the back of the trailer body to the front behind the propane tanks basically. I looked up your 2016 Premier Ultra Lite Bullet 29RKPR and the length listed is 34-1/2 feet so your 35 foot figure is correct. The Adco cover part # 290-34847...
