Video Transcript for Adco Travel Trailer RV Cover Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the ADCO RV covers for travel trailers. See etrailer.com for your specific size. Sun, moisture and snow can all take a toll on your travel trailer especially while in storage. Protect your investment with an ADCO RV cover for travel trailers. It features a Tyvek all-climate top to protect it from the elements. The sides are made out of a durable polypropylene.

It beads water on contact. Check it out. It's designed to accommodate our rooftop accessories as well. The vented sides and the breathable top keeps moisture from accumulating, preventing mold and mildew. It has reinforced corners to prevent snags and tears.

The zippered panels allow us full access to our travel trailer even while the cover remains in place. ADCO has also included four tire covers for temporary use. To remove it, just reverse your steps. At the end, fold it up, and you get a nice bag to stow it in when not in use. Now that we've gone over all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. First thing we need to do is unroll it and unfold it.

As we unroll it and we find our tire covers, we can just set those aside. Now as we unfold it, we also need to be sure we find the front and the rear. The rear's going to go to the back. The front's going to go towards the front where the coupler is. Now as we unroll it, we also need to find the top.

The top is going to be all white. Now we can go around, locate all of our straps, and we need to unroll them. Now what we want to do is fold our sides in so it's inside out. Then we're going to roll it up starting from the rear towards the front. Now we can carry it over to the rear of our camper. Now what we need to do, with it rolled up, we'll grab the front of our cover, and we're going to head up the ladder. Now since our ladder's on the side, we're just going to climb up it from the side, but it's going to unroll as we're pulling it towards the front of our travel trailer. With us on the roof, we're just going to pull it towards the front of our travel trailer. Once we get to the very front, we'll begin unfolding it, finding the corners first, and then working our way back. Now the front is going to hang off far over the edge here. Now as we get to the corners, what we want to do is do the corner opposite our ladder first, then climb down our ladder, and pull the cover over the last corner. With us on the ground, we can finish pulling down our sides and square up our cover. Now we can go around and begin securing our straps. We're going to start on the bottom corner here. Now it is a cinch strap, so as we tighten it here, it's going to tighten up that other corner. What we want to do is we want to bring it this way. Now it doesn't have to be extremely tight, and you want to make sure that it stays around the other corner. Then I'm going to adjust my buckle and then just plug it in. Here in the front, we've got two cinch straps. We'll do the front one first and then we'll do the side, so same thing as before. I'm just going to pull it nice and snug, adjust our buckle, and then plug it in. Now we can just work our way up securing our straps. Everything we do here in the back we're going to do in the front. The top corners are just cinch straps again. With our front and rear straps done, we can begin running our bottom straps. To do that, ADCO has provided us with a special weighted strap to make it easy to get this strap here to the other side. We're just going to plug it in and then toss it underneath to the other side. Here on the other side, we can just disconnect it, connect it to our cover, and then pull it tight. We're going to repeat this same process for the remaining two. With all the straps in place, we got you covered. That's going to complete our look at the ADCO RV cover for travel trailers.

The product itself is finely made and very durable. Only one small issue....I went to the ADCO site and entered our RV trailer information. It told me which one to buy. Unfortunately, it is a bit large for our camper. We decided to keep it and have it drape everything. With this said, the cover itself is first class and etrailer.com has great prices and very fast delivery. Be sure to measure your camper carefully (follow the instructions on the ADCO site) and order the appropriate one for your camper. 566378

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase. Only time will tell. I waited a bit before reviewing this, but as of late.. I feel it's a good time to do so. Yesterday we had some obscenely high winds for our area. Not hurricane, but enough to blow even some of the heavier garbage cans out of our yard and into the street. Sideways rain, the whole deal. This cover seemed to take it all in stride... and the winds blew hard all day. So far, no problems to report. I LOVE the zipper access. So easy to get in... after I forgot that I left the keys inside it. I also rolled the cover up wrong (see my pictures to learn from my mistake), but it was an easy fix. I also put tennis balls over my spouts to avoid ripping the cover on the corners. I think this will help a lot! No snow yet, but I think this cover will work nicely and it fits well. To note, this trailer is a Jayco X23B. The box itself is 20ft long from bumper to farthest point on the box. I was able to get the cover over my spare tire in the back, so this would suit at 22ft trailer without the spare nicely (as it states). I have doubts that this material will last me up to 10 years, but we will see. Regardless, so far it is performing as it should and it looks pretty good to. Another note, I didn't bother putting the wheel/tire covers on because they are obviously not for long term use (read - flimsy). All in all it took me 2 hours to put on with screwing up the roll up the first time. It was freezing cold and I made some mistakes. Now that I know, this could be done pretty quickly... I would say 30 - 45 minutes taking my time. 453573

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Excellent service from start to finish with this cover. Being able to view demo videos of the product being installed is a great advantage prior to buying the product. Shipped to Canada on standard shipping in under 5 days which was also impressive. I installed the cover yesterday. I followed the ETrailer video instructions to a T and from start to finish, approximately 1 hour. This was also taking the time to install tennis balls on my gutter spouts, an idea shared by previous buyers that I read, and works very well. The cover seems very well contstructed. My 5th wheel is 33’10” and the 34’ cover fits perfectly. Centering the cover was my biggest concern after rolling it out, but it wasn’t that hard to get it centered, not much adjustment needed after rolling it out. The cinch straps took out the slack nicely, giving the cover a nice fitted look. Overall installation with the online video tool went very well. Also installed by myself. I obviously haven’t had the chance to see how the product will stand up to winter weather in Edmonton, Alberta; I will gladly give further feedback after the winter months. Thanks E Trailer for a very painless and positive experience while shopping / purchasing our 5th wheel cover. 569183

Both the product and the service are excellent! Right off the bat upon ordering, you are sent links containing your order information as well as a great one to track your order. Yes, most sites probably supply this information as well, but etrailer has raised their game with the clean easy attractive interface. The very first thing I did, and would highly recommend doing yourself, was to watch the installation video to familiarize yourself with how the product is packaged what components there are. Unrolling, folding back up, rolling up again and finally lifting up and over the trailer were incredibly easy when following their directions. I would avoid opening it and just simply throwing it over the top like an old tarp because you will risk ripping the material when yanking and pulling it into place. I unpacked the box and had the cover installed, strapped and clipped down and tested the zipper opening by myself within an hour. This was easy to do and looks great immediately. There really isn’t much more I can say other than from beginning to end; ordering, service, installation & finishing touches were second to none! 459075

Great cover especially for the cost. Installed by myself with the trailers ladder and a 10ft that I have. I recommended it to the other 1400 members of the Genesis Supreme page for their trailers. Fast shipping and great follow up from etrailer. 508519

Great fit and coverage for our Lance 1575 trailer. Fabric appears to be of quality; however, time will predict that outcome (we just recently received the cover). Since we cannot climb on top of our trailer, it took some doing to get the trailer fully covered, but that's fine with us. We live in southern California and our sun can be brutal on anything left outdoors so not protting our investment was not an option. 529671

vacuumed, cleaned inside trailer, washed, restored sun damaged paint, waxed and covered, covering trailer was the easiest part of the weekend for my wife and I. we decided to cover trailer on 7/15, goggled covers found Adco to be the most cost effective for what we needed, we live in the southwest sun, wind protection, very important, and the warranty was equivalent to all other covers and came with tire guards, received cover on the 19th installed on Sunday 22nd. took my wife and I 35 to 40 minutes to install, counting water break. Very Happy with cover 545820

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Purchased based on product description and reviews by other purchasers. Price was competitive. I viewed etrailer video and read the instructions that came with the cover. The video was the most instructive. Doubled checked the length of my trailer before unpacking the cover. The cover length was 6 inches longer than my trailer. My wife and I installed the cover and didn’t file for divorce afterwards – it was that easy. The pads that are meant to protect the cover from the rain gutter downspouts had to be taped in place; the draw strings didn’t work too well but no big deal. 548962

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Great price on the cover, received quickly. It is well made and should stand up to the elements well. I had plenty of help covering the trailer and had it installed in less than an hour. It would be more time consuming alone or with 1 other person. The installation video shows installing it up from the rear of the trailer, but I was unable to do this because of the space my trailer is parked in. It fits good. The only issue is a cable lock that is mounted on my rear bumper that is difficult to pull the cover over. My main concern was sun damage and this cover will do a great job of protecting from that. In rain the water beads off. I'm not sure if the rain water is getting through on the roof or sides, but the cover is well ventilated and it should dry quickly. etrailer is a great place to buy products and would definitely recommend them to anyone!! 458889

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

My cover was damaged in a fire this past August, at the location where I store my trailer. Thankfully, the trailer was not damaged. I have always used Adco covers. I like the fit and adjustability. My toy hauler is kind of odd shaped in the front and I need a cover size about 3' longer than the the stated box size of the trailer, because of it. I can get a reasonably snug fit and I don't get a lot of wind billowing using the cinch straps on this cover. The covers last several years. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is very good. These points are very important to me because I keep the cover on my trailer always, except when we are using it. The reinforced corners, included tire covers and rain gutter end covers, are a nice touch too. The price here is the best I've found for this cover. Delivery was fast. The order was right. 565293

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Just got my ADCO cover (thanks for the fast delivery) and covered my travel trailer for the season. I store the trailer in an area with ruthless sun (altitude: 7200 feet) and wind. I think all covers in this environment perform disappointingly, judging by the experience of others at my storage facility. ADCO's tyvek cover seems to do the best for the money, usually giving me two solid seasons (three, if I am willing to do a little repair work). And covering the trailer according to the instructions can be done as a one-man job without too much difficulty. Makes the whole winterization issue much less intimidating. I don't actually use the included tire (tyre?) guards, as I prefer vinyl covers that I believe will block the sun and reflect heat away from the tires better. Thanks, ADCO and etrailer! 562873

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I was searching for a cover for the Trailmanor 2617 camping trailer with a rooftop A/C unit and an attached awning.... a very difficult search since there is not much owner experiences or recommendations for this unit. The reps at etrailer was very helpful. The defined the measurements that I needed and recommended this cover. The service was great. The shipping from MO to CA was quick. The rep referred me to an instruction video which was helpful. But be reminded that the cover was designed for a non-collapsible trailer. Yes, there is excess, but it is easily bound and secured. Follow the directions on the video to start and modify the the cinching of the excess with a couple of elastic bungee cords. See the attached photos. We are very satisfied. Thank you etrailer! 469563

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

We purchased the Adco RV trailer cover for our new Lance 1475 travel trailer from etralier. I have always had great service with etrailer and the Adco cover was a snap to put on. Watch the video about rolling it up and depending on the size of your trailer, you may not even have to get on the roof, which we didn't. I would suggest an expandable pole to push the rolled up cover over the opposite side and once that's done, you can make adjustments from the ground. The cover is well thought out and straps pull it tight on all sides. There was a little wiggle room at the roof line, so we'll see how things fair during the winter months. The cover is well-made and thought out and based on our experience so far, I would highly recommend this cover for your travel trailer. 572307

buying from e-trailer has been a great experience. The ordering was easy. Damaged on receiving the product, wasn't happy. Thats how shipping goes sometimes. Contacted etrailer and Nikki was a great help! Emailed her pics, and they sent me another very quickly. That process was easy and painless. As for the product itself it has been installed for about 2 weeks now, and have some 35-40 mph winds, snow and ice. So far the ADCO RV cover is holding up well. I am a little concerned about the buckles, as they appear a little light weight for such big cover. Time will tell on this one. If they fail I will be contacting ADCO since they offer a 3 year warranty. Any way I would recommend this product as of now, and the price is great from what I could find doing my research. 472977

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

ADCO trailer cover was bought to protect my new trailer from the winter sun, snow and falling debris from trees. Have used it for the first year and found it to be quite resilient. Cover is still in perfect condition after a snowy and windy winter here in NJ. Many campers complain about rips and tears especially at the corners near the rain spouts on all brands of covers. I used 4 tennis balls, slit and pushed onto the rain gutter spouts to prevent any tearing from wind and abrasion and it worked great. No damage to the cover was noted. The zipper panels allow access to the various storage compartment doors and the entry door. Zippers worked well. Wheel covers included in the purchase of the cover also worked well. Happy with the purchase and recommend it. 500846

I am giving this a four star rating because I haven’t had it long enough to know how it will hold up. I can say so far it held up to a 60mph wind storm. I watched the installation video which made it a breeze to put on my 33’ camper. I live in upstate New York so I am hoping this cover will hold up to the harsh winters and frequent wind storms. 480280

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I purchased the cover for my 32 ft 5th wheel trailer, I live near Lake Ontario where there is a lot of wind, after the first year the cover had many holes near the corners and some of the straps under the unit that hold the cover on broke. One of the zippers broke in the middle of the winter, I taped it and this spring fixed it myself. I think I'm going to try and use it this coming winter but not sure how long it will last. I have patches that came with the cover, I installed them this spring. I pulled the cover out a week ago and some of the patches fell off. It is insured but having purchased other covers in the past from others they wanted me to return the cover when it was destroyed, it cost a lot to return covers that big. 564015

Delivered in 4days, easy enough to install myself. Alot of straps to tie down and cinch cover. I did open package in driveway to orient cover and fold to make installation easier from roof. I liked the little covers for gutter extensions too. 501644

Etrailer have everything you need to keep you camper going....The complaint: The box that the cover was shipped in came very damaged. One edge was tapped with packing tape and all the other edges were beat up or ripped. The plastic bag covering the RV Cover appears undamaged. I will have to pull it out of the box to make sure but I am not going to open the cover until next fall. The cover looks ok from the box. I understand from other reviews over the years that I have read that this seems to be a regular complaint with larger items shipped from Etrailer. I guess just as long as the item itself is not damaged I am ok with it. 356872

So far so good. We have had an ADCO cover before and were pleased with our purchase. Three year warranty. I figure it will cost us about $125.00 per year to protect our camper. The sun and weather is tough on the cover. Rather the cover than my new camper. Will post some pictures after we install it. Love the price and service from etrailer. Easy to order, great service and they followed the shipment all the way to my door. Got an email to today telling me it was delivered. Got my mother-law to slide it in the house since I knew it was sitting on the front porch. Very, very pleased with the whole experience. Well done etrailer. 474303

Very well made, a bit long for a 25 foot toy hauler ( range 24-28), but fits okay. Well thought out helps to install, eg. weighted throw straps to aid in tossing the strap under the trailer. The instructions are generic and NOT tailored to a toy hauler install. They do not take in account that a toy hauler has the roof ladder on the front of the trailer, not the rear, so one must roll the cover in an opposite manner from what the instructions state. Watch the ADCO install video to get a good idea of how to do it, again generic, but helpful. Much better to have two people to install to help from getting corners caught, etc. 444435

eTrailer I give 5 stars too. Best price I found on the Internet with quick shipping. This is my second 34813 cover. The first one I purchased used was around 5 years old sealed in the box. Motorhome is covered around 8 months of the year. I got close to three years before the Florida sun took its toll on the cover. Tyvex was starting to get very brittle and top seam came apart. The newer design elements are OK and will probably last through the warranty period. For me its worth the money to keep RV out of sun. Think I'll try silicon seam sealer on top stitching twice a year. 550484

I got my cover yesterday and immediately set out to put it to work. As someone else said, it was 'inside out'. I didn't find it a problem. Following the video instructions, I had no problem putting the cover on my trailer. I can't say it fit like a glove because the roofline of my trailer curves at the front and rear. However, the many straps made it easy to cinch it snugly around the trailer. The material seems substantial and the stitching looks like it should hold up to the north Texas wind. I'm a happy camper. Thanks to the staff at etrailer for its prompt shipping. 431676

Our experience with eTrailer was great! We had never done business with them before and found them on the internet while trying to find a new RV cover for our motor-home. Although they were not the first company listed in a "Google" search, they were the most competitive, and their service was amazing! Our order was acknowledged almost immediately, the cover was shipped out within a few hours (freight free), and it arrived right on time a few days later. The next time we need anything for our RV, there's absolutely no doubt we'll contact eTrailer again! 564028

When I bought, I assumed it would only be good for 2 years, and I think it will make that easily. Much less costly than covered storage. It's bulky, but as long as it's dry, one person can manage it without much problem as long as there's no breeze. Convenient zippered openings on passenger side are helpful, but it would be nice to have an opening on the driver side, too, to be able to turn on and off master power switch easier. I recommend discarding the sleeves provided for the gutters, and using tennis balls, instead. 500005

New cover for new Rockwood 2618VS. Product arrived quickly. I've had a good experience with previous ADCO cover on prior travel trailer. Fit was a little large & V front camper shape a little more difficult to wrap - but end result was good....we'll see how it fares the New England winter. Only gripe - etrailer packaging - someone went wild with the box stapler on the shipping carton - I was worried that the travel trailer cover fabric would have been pierced....but visual inspection showed it was ok. 445121

I haven't officially installed it yet because as I was unwrapping the packaging and removing the cover from the box, there was an "ADCO" tag advising to measure my RV according to the ADCO website instructions. Once I did that, I learned that I was three feet short with my initial understand of how long my RV was. By all means, measure from the bumper and or ladder (whichever sticks out further) to the front as described then use that measurement to order your cover. . . .Now I know! 504197

We have a 2018 Keystone Laredo 335MK (38 Ft. total length) and the ADCO RV works great. Since the trailer sits outside at our storage location I feel better covering it to help protect for the elements, I have checked the trailer after it rained for 3 days and the RV was dry under the cover. ADCO makes a super product and etrailer is always great to work with. I highly recommend this cover for anyone who wants to take care of your RV and help keep it looking like new. 568336

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I purchased an Adco RV cover with Tyre Gards for my 5th wheel. ETRAILER's service was outstanding and the price was the best offered - it also arrived as promised! Installation was fairly easy, but there is some learning curve. The material used for the roof is slick; so care needs to be taken when on the roof. The cover was installed as directed. It looks good, but we will see how it holds up under a Pacific Northwest winter. 572829

Very quick shipping. I got what I ordered and am eager to try it out. It looks like it is much better than the Lego style blocks offered elsewhere. I like the fact that I don't have to guess how many blocks I will need, run it up on the blocks I have put together and hope I don't fall off the back side and have to try again. That happened with the Lego style. I will try to update my review after I have tried it out. 447277

This item was cheaper on etrailer then we could find anywhere else. The item arrived on time. I just got it installed today. Because i don't have a ladder on my trailer it was a little difficult to install the way the videos show however it wasn't that hard. I haven't gone through a winter yet with it so we shall see how it holds up to a harsh Utah winter. To be continued. 460758

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I'm happy with the cover. It was put on today. When I went to Adco website and used the make and model based sizing tool it suggested one size bigger than I had picked out for myself. I went with their suggestion. I wish I had stuck with the size based solely on the length of camper. The places that are reinforced are not in the corners where they are meant to be. 455818

I have not used this product yet, but I have used it predecessor the 32854 and was very happy with it! It stood up to the wind, sun, rain and snow for 5 years! Last year when we installed it we tore it about a 1 ft. long tear. It lasted more than double the warranty of 2 years! 483650

Recently purchased my ADCO cover and couldn’t be more happy with it. It fits snug enough to not be flopping around and with all the zippered accesses, makes getting in the trailer w/o taking cover off so easy. Thank you Etrailer for the fast shipping and product knowledge. 494089

Cover fit well. It held up to the southeast Wyoming wind well this past winter. It appears it will last for several seasons, despite the wind and the high UV it gets at our altitude. I’m happy with the purchase after the first year. I’d recommend this cover to others. 563944

One winter and it was shot! Torn in many places. Would not purchase this again. I am just going to leave the camper trailer uncovered in the elements and it will be just as good and a lot cheaper than buying another cover. 571206

The cover looks great and stalls easily and described in the literature. Unfortunately mine ripped during the winter in a few places. The top should be made of tougher material for winter conditions. 566908

  • Recommendation on a Trailer Cove to Fit a 29 FT Evergreen Travel Tailer
  • For your 29 ft. Evergreen travel trailer, I recommend the Adco RV Cover w/ Tyre Gards All Climate, # 290-34845, over # 290-34844. The # 290-34845 cover will fit a travel trailer that between 28ft 7in to 31ft 6in long. This length will fit your 29ft trailer. The # 280-34844 cover only fits trailers between 26ft 1in to 28ft 6in long. This Adco cover will provide superior protection from wind, rain, snow, and ice. The Tyvek top will block out 99.8 percent of the sun's damaging UV rays...

  • Recommended Adco RV Storage Cover for 26 Foot Jayco Travel Trailer in Cold Climate
  • For your 26 foot Jayco Travel Trailer, the Adco cover # 290-34842 is not a fit as it is made for trailers up to 24 feet. You are correct that based on your location, the All-Climate cover will be better than the Aqua-shed # 290-52244 designed for moderate climates. I recommend the Adco RV Cover w/ Tyre Gards for Travel Trailers - All-Climate + Wind - Tyvek - 26' Long # 290-34843 if your trailer is not even an inch over 26 feet long, and the # 290-34844 if it is 26 foot 1 inch or longer.

  • Storage Cover for a 2014 Work and Play 25ULA Trailer
  • For your 2014 Work and Play 25ULA toy hauler I recommend Adco cover # 290-34844. This cover was designed for trailers that are 26'1" to 28'6" long. The overall dimensions of the cover are 345" long x 100" wide x 102" tall. It includes the Tyvek top for the best roof protection and tire covers as well. I have linked a video showing the features of this line of covers.

  • Recommended Travel Trailer Cover for 2001 Fleetwood LS
  • For your 27 foot long 2001 Fleetwood LS the Adco Cover part # 290-34844 would be a great option. • Recommended Cover for 2019 Cherokee Grey Wolf Travel Trailer Stored in Midwest
  • Living in the Midwest with its unpredictable winter weather (something we at etrailer know all about as we are also in the Midwest) your best option for a cover is going to be an Adco Tyvek All-Climate + Wind cover. • Best Travel Trailer Cover Recommendation for Heartland Mallard IDM245 for Sun and Wind Exposure
  • For your Heartland Mallard IDM245 travel trailer that is 26 feet from bumper to apex of the curve on the front of your trailer our best option for UV protection is the Adco RV Cover w/ Tyre Gards # 290-34844. The top material is Tyvek which is considered to be the best material for sun protection. It stops 98.6 of UV rays from getting through while still allowing the cover to breath. This is important as it prevents mildew from growing. If there's a cover we offer designed for Arizona sun...

  • Recommended Cover for Jayco J Feather 7 23RD Travel Trailer
  • There are absolutely covers that will work with your Jayco J Feather 7 23RD travel trailer. I recommend the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Travel Trailers # 290-34844 which is 100" wide but has both front and rear cinching systems that will remove any slack and is perfect for a 7' wide trailer.
