How to Measure Your Travel Trailer

How to Measure Your Class C RV

To determine the proper fit, measure the length (not including the trailer tongue) and sidewall height (undercarriage to the top of the natural roof line). This cover is designed to accommodate rooftop accessories such as AC units and vents.

Choose Cover by Climate

Adco Climate Map

The climate where you are storing your travel trailer will help determine which cover to choose. This Tyvek All-Climate + Wind cover is designed for use in all climates located on the map above.

Adco Travel Trailer Cover

This contour-fit cover helps keep your travel trailer dry and well protected when not in use. It features a 3-layer DuPont Tyvek top and 3-layer polypropylene sides to protect against sun, rain, mold, and mildew in a all climates. Elastic corners and a rope cinching system allows you to draw the cover in tight over your vehicle. Zippered panels on passenger's side offer access to your trailer during storage. Includes 4 Tyre Gards to protect your vehicle's wheels when stored.

Fabric Guards Against Elements

Adco Tyvek

The top panel is constructed of triple-layer DuPont Tyvek fabric that is stronger and more UV resistant when compared to standard polypropylene covers. It blocks 99.8 of damaging UV rays while keeping the interior cool through infrared heat reflection. It also prevents 98 percent of dirt and dust particles from reaching the trailer's surface. Additionally, the fabric beads water to eliminate pooling and ice build-up that can damage your trailer or cover. And the material resists acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, dirt, dust, and other forms of environmental pollution that cause black streaks.

The sides of the cover are made of a non-abrasive, triple-layer polypropylene. This high-performance, non-woven fabric is water resistant and breathable to prevent the growth of mold and mildew.

Air Vents Help Cover Breathe

Adco Class C Air Vents

Air vents on the sides allow air to escape the cover in moderate winds to prevent billowing. These built-in vents also help the cover breathe to prevent mold and mildew.

Straps and Elastic Corners Ensure Snug Fit

Adco Corner and Cinching System

The cover is designed to fit snugly over your travel trailer for a clean look and better protection from the elements. Elasticized corners grip your vehicle tightly, and they are reinforced to reduce wear and prevent tears and snags. Cinch ropes in front and back remove slack and reduce billowing.

Adco Strap and Buckles

Weighted straps with buckles run beneath your vehicle to secure the cover in place. The weighted ends allow you to easily toss the straps from one side of the vehicle to the other. Once buckled, the straps can be pulled tight to ensure the cover is securely fastened so it won't blow away with the wind.

Zippered Panels Offer Access

Adco Tyvek

The cover features zippered panels on the passenger's side to allow access to the interior of your vehicle while the cover is installed.

Storage and Protection

Adco Class C accessories

A ladder cap, rain gutter spout protectors, 4 Tyre Gards, and a storage bag are included with the cover. Place the cap on top of your vehicle's ladder and the protectors over your rain gutter spouts to reduce wear on the cover. The Tyre Gards protect your wheels while trailer is in storage. The bag allows you to store the cover compactly in your vehicle or garage when not in use.

Video Transcript for Adco Travel Trailer RV Cover Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the ADCO RV covers for travel trailers. See etrailer.com for your specific size. Sun, moisture and snow can all take a toll on your travel trailer especially while in storage. Protect your investment with an ADCO RV cover for travel trailers. It features a Tyvek all-climate top to protect it from the elements. The sides are made out of a durable polypropylene.

It beads water on contact. Check it out. It's designed to accommodate our rooftop accessories as well. The vented sides and the breathable top keeps moisture from accumulating, preventing mold and mildew. It has reinforced corners to prevent snags and tears.

The zippered panels allow us full access to our travel trailer even while the cover remains in place. ADCO has also included tire covers for temporary use. To remove it, just reverse your steps. At the end, fold it up, and you get a nice bag to stow it in when not in use. Now that we've gone over all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. First thing we need to do is unroll it and unfold it.

As we unroll it and we find our tire covers, we can just set those aside. Now as we unfold it, we also need to be sure we find the front and the rear. The rear's going to go to the back. The front's going to go towards the front where the coupler is. Now as we unroll it, we also need to find the top.

The top is going to be all white. Now we can go around, locate all of our straps, and we need to unroll them. Now what we want to do is fold our sides in so it's inside out. Then we're going to roll it up starting from the rear towards the front. Now we can carry it over to the rear of our camper. Now what we need to do, with it rolled up, we'll grab the front of our cover, and we're going to head up the ladder. Now since our ladder's on the side, we're just going to climb up it from the side, but it's going to unroll as we're pulling it towards the front of our travel trailer. With us on the roof, we're just going to pull it towards the front of our travel trailer. Once we get to the very front, we'll begin unfolding it, finding the corners first, and then working our way back. Now the front is going to hang off far over the edge here. Now as we get to the corners, what we want to do is do the corner opposite our ladder first, then climb down our ladder, and pull the cover over the last corner. With us on the ground, we can finish pulling down our sides and square up our cover. Now we can go around and begin securing our straps. We're going to start on the bottom corner here. Now it is a cinch strap, so as we tighten it here, it's going to tighten up that other corner. What we want to do is we want to bring it this way. Now it doesn't have to be extremely tight, and you want to make sure that it stays around the other corner. Then I'm going to adjust my buckle and then just plug it in. Here in the front, we've got two cinch straps. We'll do the front one first and then we'll do the side, so same thing as before. I'm just going to pull it nice and snug, adjust our buckle, and then plug it in. Now we can just work our way up securing our straps. Everything we do here in the back we're going to do in the front. The top corners are just cinch straps again. With our front and rear straps done, we can begin running our bottom straps. To do that, ADCO has provided us with a special weighted strap to make it easy to get this strap here to the other side. We're just going to plug it in and then toss it underneath to the other side. Here on the other side, we can just disconnect it, connect it to our cover, and then pull it tight. We're going to repeat this same process for the remaining two. With all the straps in place, we got you covered. That's going to complete our look at the ADCO RV cover for travel trailers.

We purchased the Adco RV trailer cover for our new Lance 1475 travel trailer from etralier. I have always had great service with etrailer and the Adco cover was a snap to put on. Watch the video about rolling it up and depending on the size of your trailer, you may not even have to get on the roof, which we didn't. I would suggest an expandable pole to push the rolled up cover over the opposite side and once that's done, you can make adjustments from the ground. The cover is well thought out and straps pull it tight on all sides. There was a little wiggle room at the roof line, so we'll see how things fair during the winter months. The cover is well-made and thought out and based on our experience so far, I would highly recommend this cover for your travel trailer. 572307

Great looking and fitting cover for the most part. Nice big zippers for easy entry without removing the cover. Our Lance trailer has some rain gutters, which stick out and created holes in the cover, which we will need to repair before installing again. Also, the bottom rear corners of the trailer required rubber bumpers to avoid tearing of the cover while installed. Overall, we are happy with the cover and will make the necessary repairs and reinforce the stress areas.

Adco does offer a patch kit as part # 290-2093
Adco Universal RV Cover Patch Kit - 6 Colors

that you might be interested in to patch the small holes from your rain gutters. We have had other customers say they had luck covering their gutters with a thick foam or pool noodles before using their cover for the end of the season.

I was searching for a cover for the Trailmanor 2617 camping trailer with a rooftop A/C unit and an attached awning.... a very difficult search since there is not much owner experiences or recommendations for this unit. The reps at etrailer was very helpful. The defined the measurements that I needed and recommended this cover. The service was great. The shipping from MO to CA was quick. The rep referred me to an instruction video which was helpful. But be reminded that the cover was designed for a non-collapsible trailer. Yes, there is excess, but it is easily bound and secured. Follow the directions on the video to start and modify the the cinching of the excess with a couple of elastic bungee cords. See the attached photos. We are very satisfied. Thank you etrailer! 469563

Great fit and coverage for our Lance 1575 trailer. Fabric appears to be of quality; however, time will predict that outcome (we just recently received the cover). Since we cannot climb on top of our trailer, it took some doing to get the trailer fully covered, but that's fine with us. We live in southern California and our sun can be brutal on anything left outdoors so not protting our investment was not an option. 529671

I've only used this cover for one winter so far but I had absolutely no problems with it. The fit was excellent and there was no damage of any kind when I removed it this spring. And unfortunately, I have to put it back on my camper in a few more weeks. Great buy for the price. 717348

This cover has provided the protection expected and fit adjustment is good. The negative side is the material is easily punctured and once punctured, tears very easily. Because there is no "ripstop" fibers woven into it, tears propagate uninterrupted under minimal force. My next cover will not use the same fabric. 696674

Product has functioned as advertised. The only thing I noticed is if covering is not snug on trailer the wind will billow the cover and a hole may develop where sharp angles protrude. Other than that I am pleased with product. 660180

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Purchased based on product description and reviews by other purchasers. Price was competitive. I viewed etrailer video and read the instructions that came with the cover. The video was the most instructive. Doubled checked the length of my trailer before unpacking the cover. The cover length was 6 inches longer than my trailer. My wife and I installed the cover and didn’t file for divorce afterwards – it was that easy. The pads that are meant to protect the cover from the rain gutter downspouts had to be taped in place; the draw strings didn’t work too well but no big deal. 548962

a year later the cover looks new and the RV trailer underneath is as dust and dirt free as the day it was born.

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

A little scary at first because when the shipping box came it looked fine but after opening that box, the RV cover box inside looked like it had been dragged behind my truck, then had a elephant sit on it!!! It looked very bad, torn up with clear tape over half of the box! Right away I called the good people at etrailer and they were also concerned about the contents but said to check everything out and if I had a problem with anything, they would stand behind it and take care of it! Well I took inventory on the different components and did a quick look at the cover as best I could rolled up and it looked fine? The next morning I got the trailer set in place, up on stand and gave it a good cleaning. I let everything dry out real good before I rolled it out on the roof and slipped it on. It fit perfect and looked great!!! Wasn't sure how this was going to turn out after seeing the box in that shape but whoever boxed it up must have checked it out quite well and had the confidence it was in A-1 shape for whomever would receive it! Well, I was that person and I'm good with it and very satisfied with my purchase. The only reason i'm giving it a 4 out of 5 is of course because of the way it came to me but etrailer staff stood behind it and said the would make it right if I was dissatisfied in any way! I'm good, Thank you e-trailer... 686925

eTrailer I give 5 stars too. Best price I found on the Internet with quick shipping. This is my second 34813 cover. The first one I purchased used was around 5 years old sealed in the box. Motorhome is covered around 8 months of the year. I got close to three years before the Florida sun took its toll on the cover. Tyvex was starting to get very brittle and top seam came apart. The newer design elements are OK and will probably last through the warranty period. For me its worth the money to keep RV out of sun. Think I'll try silicon seam sealer on top stitching twice a year. 550484

Comments

Still holding up good. Think Adco could [] the new cinching straps on the four roof corners and instead fortify the rear bumper corners with an additional layer. This has been the first area to have holes on both covers Ive owned. The stitching has started unraveling near zipper for side door. Still worth having RV covered.

I like it! It looks good on for sure. Although. if you have ANY rough spots on your RV it will rub a hole in the cover. I’ve only put it on and have yet to remove it so hopefully there will be no surprises. Tip: before you cover your rig be sure and treat or protect any rough spots on your RV. I use cut to size plastic tubing with a slice down the side to cover any questionable area... it grips naturally and is easy to put on and remove. 670695

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Just got my ADCO cover (thanks for the fast delivery) and covered my travel trailer for the season. I store the trailer in an area with ruthless sun (altitude: 7200 feet) and wind. I think all covers in this environment perform disappointingly, judging by the experience of others at my storage facility. ADCO's tyvek cover seems to do the best for the money, usually giving me two solid seasons (three, if I am willing to do a little repair work). And covering the trailer according to the instructions can be done as a one-man job without too much difficulty. Makes the whole winterization issue much less intimidating. I don't actually use the included tire (tyre?) guards, as I prefer vinyl covers that I believe will block the sun and reflect heat away from the tires better. Thanks, ADCO and etrailer! 562873

Comments

After one year, the cover is hanging in there. Due to my work schedule, it had to keep my travel trailer covered all winter it survived a bomb cyclone that hit the area and most of the summer. It has one small tear that will be easy to fix, then it will go back on for the winter, as soon as I am finished with the trailer for the season.

Our experience with eTrailer was great! We had never done business with them before and found them on the internet while trying to find a new RV cover for our motor-home. Although they were not the first company listed in a "Google" search, they were the most competitive, and their service was amazing! Our order was acknowledged almost immediately, the cover was shipped out within a few hours (freight free), and it arrived right on time a few days later. The next time we need anything for our RV, there's absolutely no doubt we'll contact eTrailer again! 564028

Much better than expected! The Adco RV cover is much better than our last one....stronger, easier to use, and better in many ways. Theyve done a good job of improving what had been a good product...and making it even better!

The cover looks great and stalls easily and described in the literature. Unfortunately mine ripped during the winter in a few places. The top should be made of tougher material for winter conditions. 566908

Comments

I duct taped the tears, and most of the tape held last winter. The cover looks good, but the top needs to be a stronger material if you are living where is snow accumulation.

I've had this cover for about a year. I've been very pleased so far. I was told by several friends that a cover would enhance the chances of mildew/mold. However, I have not had that problem to date. The material of construction allows a lot of breathing. The cover keeps my RV clean and protected from the sun!! The only reason I rated four stars instead of five is it is a little longer than what I think it should be, thereby preventing a perfect fit. This makes it a little harder to do a good tie-down and with high winds, it tends to shift a little. Overall, it's a great product and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!! 642133

ADCO Products met or exceeded my expectations. I have a 2019 Rockwood 2109S trailer, actual box length is 19’, I purchased the next size up cover (43841) - (20’1” to 22’0”), it not only covering my trailer box but also my propane tanks, ladder, and spare tire. Their attention to detail, is appreciated. They included covers for my rain gutter ends, extra grommet holes in strategic locations, and reinforcement on all corners, and four tire covers. I would happily recommend their products. 655273

Because i don't have a ladder on my trailer it was a little difficult to install the way the videos show however it wasn't that hard. Thanks for the email. The product over all is great and held up well over the first winter. It goes on easy enough for one person, product looks great, and the zipper are in a perfect location if I ever need to get insides. My only issues are three tears. I ended up ripping a buckle off the first tire cover I put on, the storage bag ripped when I picked it up from storage and I got a small tear in the bottom of the cover this year when covering the camper.

I would not recommend this cover. I purchased this cover for my travel trailer and in less than a year the seams started separating on the roof and the material in the front was deteriorating. I contacted ADCO and sent pictures and they agreed to send a replacement for $35. Since the new cover didn't make it one year I am reasonably sure the replacement will not last as well. They did offer to upgrade my new cover for a considerable price increase, however I felt they weren't giving me full credit for the damaged one. I asked how long the new cover would be guaranteed for and the reply was no guarantee, as this was the last one they were going to replace. I would not recommend this cover or ADCO because of their policies and product. 653695

This cover has met all of y expectations in the last year. It's simple to install and remove and the quality of the design and fabric is really nice. It's in place on my trailer all of the time when we're not traveling and looks nice too. I looked into several types of covers and this one seemed to be a bargain as well as a well made product. I had a few questions prior to the purchase and the etrailer staff went above and beyond to be sure I was taken care of. Shipping was super fast. Thanks everyone who had apart in helping me out with questions (Bryan). The box is big and I hope to install the cover as soon as the snow melts here in Minnesota. I've bought a few of this brand of cover before. They hold up for a few years if you keep them on tight and snugged down from the wind. Padded at the sharp corners. Thanks Dino 611241

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I have experienced tears in a few places, and a break out of dark mold- like spots on the roof after using this cover over last winter. Since this is my first cover ever, and I do not know if other covers would tear this easily, i am giving benefit if the doubt and ranking this cover as good. 579867

Comments

Here are a few things to consider when choosing installing an RV cover. 1 Youll want to choose the cover closest in size to your RV. Choosing one thats too large or small can lead to tearing. 2 Make sure the cover is cinched down as securely as possible. Excessive movement can cause wear and tear on the cover, and eventually tears. 3 Youll want to make sure the RV is completely dry before installing a cover. Any moisture left on the surface of the RV can allow mold to form.

Like the cover and the convenience of access panel for the ability to get into the motor-home while the cover is on. However, it's made with very thin material and ripped a small hole in the top of the cover when it hooked on A/C unit during installation. We have a 34'3" motor-home and went with the 36 ft size as the manufacture recommends going to larger cover when size is close, but there is too much excess cover hanging off the back which flaps in the wind, even with the straps pulled to there limits. Would go with the smaller cover next time. 625537

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

Cover fit was good with plenty of tie down straps to hold securely. The zipper oppening is nice for re-entering the trailer without having to partially remove cover. We used tennis balls on all gutter spouts and any where there was something remotely sharp but still rubbed through the cover in 2 places a moth after installed. Like the white heavier top portion to protect and reduce heat. Yes I would recommend this cover and hope to get 3 years out of it. Doubt there are better covers at this price out there. The sun will take it's toll on any cover regardless of price payed, at this price it can be replaced . 615932

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

ADCO trailer cover was bought to protect my new trailer from the winter sun, snow and falling debris from trees. Have used it for the first year and found it to be quite resilient. Cover is still in perfect condition after a snowy and windy winter here in NJ. Many campers complain about rips and tears especially at the corners near the rain spouts on all brands of covers. I used 4 tennis balls, slit and pushed onto the rain gutter spouts to prevent any tearing from wind and abrasion and it worked great. No damage to the cover was noted. The zipper panels allow access to the various storage compartment doors and the entry door. Zippers worked well. Wheel covers included in the purchase of the cover also worked well. Happy with the purchase and recommend it. 500846

Comments

Has been two NJ winters and trailer cover is still in great shape, no complaints! I did buy one that was one size larger than I needed but that was my fault in estimating the actual size of the trailer. Talked my friend with the same trailer into buying the same cover of the correct size and he has no complaints either. Is holding up well with no tears even at the corners. I installed old tennis ball over the rain gutter spouts at each corner. Corners are double layer to help with the strength of the cover. I would certainly recommend this cover for a travel trailer.

It fir our Coachmen Apex Nano perfectly. I found the quality and value to be very good. I thought that the instructions could be better. As a 50 + year old that does use technology, It would have been nice to have written instructions i could follow in the driveway vs the 1 page vague instructions and had to keep referring to cell phone vid. Overall I love the product and i'm happy I bought it 579518

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

My cover has survived a very windy New England Winter with little wear. I had used pieces of gray pipe insulation to pad the gutter spouts, and snugged it down nice and tight. Yes that is snow, the snow arrived before I was ready for it. But making a snowball around the weight to throw the tie downs from side to side made it easier to find them in the green grass under my RV. It had several different events with winds of 50 to 60 mph to contend with, the worst it did was toss some snow buildup off the roof. I did have wear and tear at the exhaust pipe. Now I know to put a plastic flower pot over it, and I'll use a pair of larger flower pots on the rear bumper to prevent those friction locations too. Yes I'll buy one when this on finally wears out. The videos were helpful in putting it on and taking it off. I didn't try to put it in the bag provided. It is folded up in a 32 gal trash can with wheels because it is just easier to move around. 633107

Review from a similar Adco All-Climate Plus Wind in RV Covers

I haven't officially installed it yet because as I was unwrapping the packaging and removing the cover from the box, there was an "ADCO" tag advising to measure my RV according to the ADCO website instructions. Once I did that, I learned that I was three feet short with my initial understand of how long my RV was. By all means, measure from the bumper and or ladder (whichever sticks out further) to the front as described then use that measurement to order your cover. . . .Now I know! 504197

  • Recommended Storage Cover for 2018 Jayco Hummingbird 17RB
  • For your 2018 Jayco Hummingbird 17RB I recommend the Adco RV Cover # 290-34839. This particular cover is designed to fit travel trailers that are between 15 and 18 feet long so it will work perfectly for your Hummingbird that has a box length of around 17 feet. This particular cover features an All-Climate + Wind construction, which means it is designed for wind, high sun exposure, high moisture, snow, and long-term storage. Its Tyvek top panel and polypropylene sides bead water on...

  • Best Travel Trailer Storage Cover for Canadian Winter
  • The Adco Storage Lot Cover part # 290-74839 will not be your best option for a Canadian winter. The polypropylene top will do a good job for most but with heavy snow, you really need a storage cover with a tyvek top because it is much more durable. For this, you are going to want to use the Adco All Climate RV Cover part # 290-34839 which also has zippers for easy access and a cinching system to help reduce billowing in strong winds. It also has a three year warranty compared to the two...

  • Storage Cover for a 15 Foot V-Nose Travel Trailer

However, I looked up the Coachmen Clipper specifications, and found that the 2019 models have an overall length of 21 feet 4 inches.
