Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the bead catches for your RV cabinets. These are just those little push in fasteners to help prevent your cabinet doors from swinging around while you're in transit and they just are going to push in with some baldy tents 00:00:20 there. So one side will have that piece and then the other side will push into that. So it's going to keep everything nice and secure. These hold pretty tightly, so I think they'll do a really great job even if you're on some bumpier roads, should keep everything nice and secure on your doors. It also comes with the hardware to get these mounted in place, so we'll get several screws get one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. So enough to get both sides for both catches installed. There's a little bit better look at the two pieces, so this little piece fits into those two baldy tents that are going to hold it together. And it just pushes in place, it's hard to see with this off the cabinet.
But just fits in there and comes back out.As far as size, we'll measure both sides so you can get an idea of how big these guys are. So overall, the catch is going to be about two inches long and about three, eight seven inch wide and about three eighths of an inch thick. The distance between the mounting holes center to center is about one and a half inches and then for our small piece, it's about an inch long and about three eighths of an inch wide, or even a little bit less than that, and just under half an inch thick. Distance between those mounting holes center to center is about three quarters of an inch. That's pretty much all there is to it with these guys. They are made out of a metal material, so it should last for a long time, works on just about any style cabinet and you can also adjust the tension on those baldy tents by adjusting the screw at the top and bottoms, so that screw is going to push that further out or in to adjust how strongly it holds that other piece. So if that's a little too tight for you, you can back it out and make it a little bit easier to open up.They're covered by a limited lifetime warranty, you do get the two catches and that's pretty much all there is to it for these little guys.
They should be a good addition to your RV to help prevent those cabinet doors from swinging around, and if you need any other accessories or replacement parts for your RV or travel trailer or anything else, we have a lot of options here at etrailer.com. So check them out, thanks for watching.
