Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this GE Appliances 13,500 BTU Black Deluxe RV air conditioner with heat pump. Now this is gonna be a great option for you to consider if you're looking to upgrade or add an air conditioner on your RV's ducted or ductless system in your small to medium sized camper. This 13,500 BTU per hour air conditioner is going to cool evenly and it has a built in heat pump for those chilly mornings and all of this is coming from a brand name that you know and trust. This does use the more energy efficient R32 refrigerant, which is going to meet the 2025 EPA regulations.

So because of that, this will not be backwards compatible with any air conditioner systems from 2024 and earlier. Now this is going to be just for this air conditioner itself. It will not include hardware, it will not include the air distribution box, the control box, which is the brains of the operation or the thermostat. So if you are in need of those other components as well, the good news is we do carry complete systems here at etrailer.com from GE. So you can pick up a complete system with the air conditioner unit and all the components that you need for your ducted or ductless systems.

You can just find them here@ at trailer.com. So again, this will be a bolt on installation, but you will need the bolts that come with the air distribution box to install this. So this is gonna fit roofs from two to six inches thick with an opening size of 14 and 3/8 inches long by a 14 and 3/8 inches wide. This is gonna be right at about 32 and 13, 16 inches long. The width is gonna be 26 and 1/8 inches wide, and the height is right under 14 inches tall.

And this is gonna weigh right under 80 pounds. So this is gonna run pretty quietly for you because the motor has sound dampening grommets, which gonna help reduce that annoying humming and vibration sound. This does include a heat pump as I mentioned. So as you probably know, that heat pump pulls warmth from the air to warm up the inside of your RV or camper on those chilly mornings. And this is gonna be a pretty easy swap for most RVs, because this is going to seamlessly install over your roof's pre-existing roof vent opening.

The I do wanna mention we do have foam pads at the base. It's going to do a great job of supporting this on your roof of the camper, and again, cutting down on that vibration and noise. Also have a gasket as well that's going to sit over that opening of the roof of your RV or camper. This is built tough for the road. It's constructive high grade materials. It's going to withstand extreme UV rays and constant vibration. And this black hard automotive grade polymer shroud is gonna protect the internal components from water and debris. It can be easily removed. If you ever need to do any cleaning or maintenance, there's two Phillips head screws on either side, so you're gonna be able to easily remove and replace this. This does include a wiring harness. It is tucked up underneath the air conditioner and on your screen. I'm including a photo of those connectors. So you'll just pull the harness out from underneath the AC unit down through the opening of your roof and plug it in. And you do want to keep this unit at least 18 inches away from any obstructions, giving you that proper airflow. And again, this is from GE, a brand name that's known and trusted around the world for appliances inside of the home, in particular inside of the kitchen. So you're gonna be bringing that reliability and that trustworthiness with this air conditioner unit into your RV. Again, we do have other options available. We have complete systems available.
