This Furrion Chill AC system lets you replace an existing single zone setup or add a new setup if your RV or camper doesn't already have one. It includes all of the components necessary to adjust the temperature inside your RV.

Air Conditioner

Furrion

The air conditioner has two fans, each with their own motor, to help move cool air faster and more efficiently inside your RV on a hot and muggy day. It also has a built-in start capacitor that uses stored energy to give an extra boost of power to help jump-start your unit when a campsite or generator doesn't provide enough power. Integrated rubber dampeners on the compressor reduce vibration and allow your AC unit to run quietly.

Single Zone Controller

Furrion Single Zone Controller

The single zone controller has a convenient, built-in temperature sensor that communicates with the included single zone basic wall thermostat. It also features short-cycle protection so that your air conditioner won't cycle off prematurely, ensuring your RV reaches its temperature set-point.

Air Distribution Box

Furrion Air Distribution Box

The air distribution box accommodates ducted and ductless systems. It features 2 slotted registers to maximize airflow in your RV. The registers can be closed to divert more air to the ducts in a ducted system.

Single Zone Premium Wall Thermostat

Furrion Single Zone Premium Wall Thermostat

The single zone premium wall thermostat has 5 different operating modes and a sleep setting to ensure optimal comfort throughout your RV or camper.

Auto Mode: Allows the system to automatically change between cool mode and heat mode based on the room temperature. When the room temperature reaches 77 degrees F, the system will operate in cool mode. When the room temperature drops below 68 degrees F, the system will operate in heat mode (only when furnace is enabled).

Cool Mode: Cycles the compressor on and off based on the room temperature and the temperature set-point. When the compressor is running, the fan will be turned on to either low, medium, high, or auto. On auto fan, the fan speed varies depending on the difference between the temperature set-point and room temperature.

Fan Speed

Heat Mode (only when furnace is enabled): Cycles the compressor on and off based on the room temperature and the temperature set-point. When the compressor is running, the fan will be turned on to either low, medium, high, or auto. The fan speed selection only applies to the fan speed on the air conditioner and not the fan speed of the furnace.

Fan Mode: Operates continuously at low, medium, or high speed.

Dry Mode: Runs the compressor continuously when the room temperature is higher than the temperature set-point. When the room temperature is lower than the temperature set-point, the compressor cycles on for 10 minutes and off for 6 minutes to maintain your desired temperature. The fan speed runs continuously at low speed.

Sleep Setting: Automatically increases your temperature set-point 2 degrees every hour up to 2 hours. After 2 hours, the fan is set to low speed. This allows your unit to use less power overnight and reduces noise while you sleep.

Ver happy with the purchase. Nice looking unit, easy to install, arrived way earlier than scheduled. Used for a new installation on my hobby trailer. People a costumer service was very diligent and knowledgeable. Just a tip for new installations .. this unit requires 12vdc supply independently from AC supply.

The actual air conditioner arrived damaged but etrailer was very quick to provide the replacement. I had heard of the legendary customer service department and I have to say they do not disappoint. Five stars for service, two stars for the product.

Really nice ac. Easy install. The interior plenum looks really good and is a definite upgrade from the original that came with the trailer. The shroud on the roof unit was broken but etrailer is getting me a new one. We just installed it so I was anxious to see if this 14,500 btu unit would cool my 30' Rockwood. It was 102° here in the desert today and the unit didn't seem to have any problem in holding the 78° set temp inside. So far I'm really happy with this unit. As for etrailer, they've been my #1 go to for some years now. 5 stars always !!!

Added this unit in my prepped bedroom for a second unit to my Coleman 15 k unit. The Coleman crapped out less than 2 years (new) and it took > 10 weeks to replace. I had my dealer install. It is very cold when running. It is ducted into my other unit so the jury is out if I like that way of installing. It DOES run quieter than my other unit.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

I love the power of this unit. Super cold, but only after I cut a hole to allow the air to blow out better! The factory airflow is very anemic compared to what you may expect from a 15.5k. Without this mod it feels like a weak 13.5. Used on a 25’ class C.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

First of all let me say that the unit needs to have Styrofoam on the front, back, top and bottom. The box looked very bad when it arrived. I am very surprised that the unit wasn’t damaged. Second I think the company needs to offer a spacer when the the roof isn’t thick enough. I had to make one so the inside unit would be spaced correctly so it would bolt up and fit. Now I have a space between the inside cover and the ceiling. On a better note, the unit looks freaking amazing on the pop up. Even with the camper not popped all the way up and the canvas not attached it was still cool in the camper after running for 30 mins. I would highly recommend this unit over the others so far. I’m excited to see how it does when I take it camping.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

I have a 16x7 v nose trailer I installed this in. I insulated the roof with foam sheets cut to size but the walls and floor are not insulated. I had to brace the roof of the trailer in order to support the weight of the unit. Overall it’s better than nothing and lowers the temp 10-15* below ambient which makes it bearable inside of the trailer. My 2000w generator was not able to power it so I bought one of the predator 3500w generators and it does great. It will last around 7 hours on a tank of fuel.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

The folks at etrailer exercised extreme patience with my order errors and helped me get my Furrion Chill up and running. Courtesy and professionalism were always the cornerstone of every transaction. If I have one suggestion it would be this; please update your video instructions and reviews to advise RVer’a that upgrading to Furrion products requires special wiring that is not compatible with many RV manufacturer wiring practices. RV Factory thermostats are not compatible which forces the end user to run wires along ceiling channels or other creative (expensive) means. When my secondary A/C dies I’ll be ordering another Furrion Chill to take its place.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

The air conditioner works really well so far I haven’t been in any extreme heat yet. The unit fit well. But the wiring was difficult to figure out in my Thor 24F. When I open the box there was a crack in the shroud. I emailed Amy and they took care of it and sent me a new shroud. etrailer has been excellent company to deal with! I like the cheap prices but customer service is what gets my return business.

Instructions that come with the unit are very thorough. There are also plenty of videos online to figure out how to install. Quick and simple. One broken tab from shipping (will include in photo). Happy with the exterior look and cold air it pumps into the RV. First day I give it 5 stars. Will shop with etrailer again.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

Great product, install was not complicated and is currently exceeding my expectations. This product is much better than the unit it replaced. Shipping was delayed some due to the pandemic and upon inspection the cover was found to be damaged. When I called customer service to let them know about the issue they promptly set me up with a replacement cover at no cost to me. etrailer has always been easy to work with on all of my orders and I would highly recommend them.

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

This system poured condensate inside the trailer. No help from customer service other than asking the make and model of the trailer it was installed in. The thermostat also did not work to cycle the unit. Had to do A lot of in house up grades to get it to work such as a riser for the roof mount and a different type of thermostat. All this known before hand would not have made this purchase.

This review is not about the product as I haven't been able to install it yet, but more about etrailer Customer Service. We have had multiple issues concerning the product arriving damaged. Customer service has gone above and beyond to assist. I can't say enough good things about them. The delivery company on the other hand well, I will just leave it there. Thanks etrailer!

The unit cools good when it's not freezing up . This happens regularly almost daily . The filters are maintained every 2 weeks and the outside unit has had the coil cleaned and the drain pan rinsed to assure proper draining of the water condition. Also the fan speed of the unit stays pretty much the same regardless of the fan setting position

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

It works and blows cool! He aware that it requires a ceiling thickness minimum of 3 inches. If you are putting it in a cargo trailer like me you will have some fabrication to do. I made a 2x2 aluminum frame and welded it on the roof. The unit arrived with the cover broken. Etrailer sent a new cover but they just sent the unit in the original Furrion box. The screws hood my the cover on are rusted after two weeks. Come on Furrion use stainless!

Review from a similar Chill AC Assembly in RV Air Conditioners

The unit works great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the use of aluminium for all of the coils and tubes. I imagine if we were camping near the beach extensive corrosion would result from the salt atmosphere. The only choice now is to pull the cover off each time we go to the beach and hose it down with fresh water through the coils.

RV air conditioner systems can be broke down in two sections. Section 1 - On the roof: This is the hardware, like the compressor and fans, that basically is on or off. Section 2 - below the roof: This is the air distribution box (or ducts) and the controls. The controls can be knobs on the air distribution box, a thermostat, or both functions accessed by a remote. These controls direct the roof top unit to turn on and off. The Advent # ACCAR150 is noted as a replacement for Carrier...

  • Replacement Ceiling Assembly For Coleman Mach Air Conditioner
The Replacement Vent w/ Thermostat and Remote for Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15021 you referenced is a replacement for an Atwood rooftop unit, and based on the research I've done you have a 13.5K BTU Coleman Mach AC unit so it won't be compatible. Unfortunately we do not carry replacement ceiling assemblies for your Coleman, so the best option would be to replace the AC with a new rooftop and ceiling assembly, that would also allow you to add a thermostat as well. I...

  • Furrion RV AC Unit Solutions for Replacing Dometic Unit
We have Furrion RV AC units that are designed for fitting in place of Dometic units like what you have with the part # FR86SR which will allow you to use the current Dometic thermostats that you have now and the ways it currently wires up. If your goal is to use a Furrion unit with a new Furrion thermostat as well you'd need a kit like the # F14PA12SASA-W which comes with all new electronics.

  • Furrion AC Unit for Cargo Van
The Furrion Chill Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # FACR14SA-PS that you referenced is a great choice for adding AC to your cargo van. Since your van most likely doesn't have an AC unit currently or ducting for a setup either the better choice is the part # F14PA12SASA-W as it comes with the vent you'd need to mount on the interior of your van plus everything else you'd need to operate the unit. This includes a controller and thermostat.

  • Adding Rooftop Air Conditioner to 2006 Winnebago Journey with Basement Air
You can definitely add an additional air conditioner with your 50 amp power connection. You will just need to make sure you have a separate circuit breaker in your panel. I recommend using the Furrion Chill Premium RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 14,500 Btu - White # F14PA12SASA-W or the Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner and Air Distribution Box w/ Built-in Thermostat - 14,500 Btu # FAC1411MA-W. • What Dometic AC Units Can be Replaced with Advent Air Unit
The Advent air conditioner units that will fit the Dometic setups and will allow the use of the Dometic controls require the setup to be using Comfort Control Center Model 3109226.005 which is used with a 5 button thermostat. Based on the year of your setup and the buttons you did mention what you have would be too old so you'd have to go with a setup that replaces all of that like for example the Furrion Chill part # F14PA12SASA-W.
