Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B&B Polar White RV Multipurpose Hatch. Now this flush-mounted locking, molded, plastic hatch is going to give you exterior access for any RV need. The open back, as you just saw here, is going to allow for direct pass through or recessed inlet and the global link lock cylinder with key can be key to like here to match your entry door or compartment. So as you can see, that's going to lock very easily. And reinsert the key there, give it a turn, and then that's going to unlock.

The key is included with the lock. And as I mentioned, this can be key to like to match your entry door or compartment locks. Before I go any further, let me go ahead and just give you some measurements so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. The cutout dimensions is going to be right at about six and seven eights inches tall and then six and three-eighths inches wide. And then giving you some overall dimensions, looking at the width here, we are sitting right at eight inches wide.

And then the height from bottom to top, we're sitting right at eight and a half inches tall. Now the hatch flange that you see here is going to secure to your exterior wall with the supplied screws. What I like about these screws and what I've noticed with a lot of B&B products is that the head of their screws are color matched for the item it's going to secure. So those screws are going to blend right in when you screw this through to your wall to secure it. And I also wanted to mention the butyl tape is included, so you'll just apply that butyl tape to the perimeter of this hatch when you're installing it and then run the screws through the holes and through the butyl tape.

And that butyl tape, as you know, will keep out moisture and water. It won't be seeping in behind this, so it'll give you a watertight fit. This is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic, so this is not going to fade, it's not going to yellow, it's going to resist road salt, so it's going to do a great job of standing up against the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. So this does include everything that you see here on my table before me. And this is NSF, CSA, and TEI certified.
