Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Rhino Rack RVH legs. These are one of the three components that you will need for your crossbar system on your roof.This is going to be the middle section, the leg portion. So you will also need the base kit, that is vehicle specific. That conforms to the shape of your vehicle so you get a nice, secure fit.

And then you're also going to need the Aero crossbars. And that will be the mounting platform for your cargo carriers, canoe racks, ski carrier, that kind of thing. So, this is just one of the three components, but it is essential for getting that roof rack system set up.These are high profile legs. So you're going to have about two and a half inch height here. So that's plenty of clearance to get your hand under there if you need to make adjustments or if your skis are facing down.

It's still going to provide enough room so they're not going to be making contact with the roof.These are a nice UV and weather resistant glass reinforced nylon construction. So they're going to hold up very well for you. And you can see, they do have locking covers here to help secure them to your roof so that no one can come along and take off your roof rack and take off with whatever you have mounted on your roof.Now, as I said, these are going to be the middle portion. So you'll have your base kit that's sitting on your roof. They've included a Allen wrench to secure the hardware that comes with that base kit here, so that you get this secured onto your roof.

And then this can just live right here in the leg, just slides in, allows you to keep track of it, so that if you ever need it, that's right there in there.This also comes with screws. These will hold your crossbars in place. So, everything that you're going to need as far as the legs is included here. As well as the keys, obviously, to open and close those locks. They also include instructions with diagrams to help you get everything installed so that you know exactly what you're doing when you're going to put these up.You can see, we do have six of these leg pieces.

So it's going to allow us to have three of those Aerobar crossbars. So that's really nice for lots of different applications. Just gives you more mounting options to ensure that everything that you're wanting to carry with you is going to fit on your roof.So overall, I'd say this is a really nice option for you. Obviously, you do want to make sure that you pick up those crossbars and base kits.
