Good company to buy from. (first time, but not the last) I think the gas regulator the camper came with never worked right sense it was bought new. First time it has worked right. The original one was mounted wrong from the factory. Parts got here quick, good packaging to keep from getting damaged in transit.

Review from a similar Sturgi-Stay in Propane

What I like about this tee compared to other tees on the market is that it has quick disconnects instead of dedicated fittings. Depending on the hose I use, I can connect one or two external LP tanks - for that extended park, without having to move the coach to get the tank refilled. Or, I can connect an external appliance, like my portable LP grille, when I'm on a camping trip. And I don't have to leave the hose attached to the tee where it might accidentally fall down and drag on the ground. When I roll I can just detach the hose and stow it in the basement. Word to the wise - there's not much room in the LP tank space, SO I recommend getting the hose you want with a 1/4" MPT on the end that you'd want to connect to the tee, plus a Sturgis male quick connect fitting that also has 1/4" MPT. Connect the two together with a regular 1/4" FPT 90 degree elbow. That allows connecting the hose in a tight space.

My RV sits for long periods. This part keeps my LP going by allowing attaching an external portable LP tank. It enabled us to use our RV kitchen while we remodelled our home kitchen.

Very pleased with the propane hose and fittings I have received from etrailer. The quality of the items seems excellent. The price was very competitive and the items were delivered exactly when they said that they would be. I will be installing these items on my motor home so that I can hook up a B.B.Q. and a campstove.Very happy with the products and service received from etrailer and would feel very confident recommending this site to anyone.

So disappointed. Paid extra for Made in the USA and now one of the cut offs is leaking. I contacted CS only to find out that this product has a 90 day warranty. I guess American quality and workmanship isn’t what it used to be.

Review from a similar Sturgi-Stay in Propane

I used this product to attach a 12' propane hose from the tank on the drivers side of my 2017 Winnebago Forza, underneath to the awning side of the vehicle to power a fire pit. I took The plastic cover off of the tank regulator, unhooked the regulator, and installed this device between the tank and regulator, then re-installed the plastic cover drilling a new hole to install. (The fire pit has it's own regulator). Very easy to do, no pipe dope or teflon tape required. Counting getting under the MH to strap the hose, It probably took about 45 minutes to complete.

Review from a similar Sturgi-Stay in Propane

This product lived up to my expectations. I am a seasonal camper and I used this product to connect a 100lb tank to my Travel Trailers LP system. I was able to use my existing dual 30lb tanks as well; this provided me enough LP for most of the season which was my goal. This was while using the water heater, refrigerator and furnace in gas mode. Which saved me considerably on my electric bill. The price was less than that big box Camping store. I am very well pleased and would recommend this product.

  • How To Attach a 100 Lb and 40 Lb Propane Tank to the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator
In order to connect the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # 108220 to a 100 lb propane tank you will need the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Propane Fill Hose part # 100019-24 and the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting part # 402258-MBS. In order to connect this same regulator to a 40 lb propane tank you will just need to use the MB Sturgis Propane Hose w/ Back Check part # 100473-24-MBS.

  • Parts Needed to Connect 100 Lb Propane Tank to Water Heater
It sounds like what you need is a pigtail to go from the tank to a regulator, then from the regulator you'll need a supply hose that's long enough to reach and connect to the to inlet valve (manifold) on your food truck and that has the correct fitting. Below are the parts I recommend: 1. MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Stainless Overbraid - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare - 1' # 100833-12 2. I recommend the following: Pigtail # 100473-12 Regulator # 37207-30325 Tee # 37207-30055 Because I don't know the connections on your appliances, I don't know the supply lines you need from the 1/4 inch Male Inverted Flare connections to your appliances.

  • Propane Regulator Recommendation for Fireplace Fed by 100 lb Propane Tank
Since a fireplace is a low pressure application, you could use a single stage regulator like # CAM59013, especially if you're speaking of a small fire-pit type fireplace with the hose from the tank run being less than 20 feet or so. However, if you're speaking of a larger fireplace with a longer gas run, I'd recommend a dual stage regulator like # 108220.

  • Propane Regulator for a Modine 45K BTU Hot Dawg heater
Yes, you should go with a dual stage like the MB Sturgis 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # 108220 for vertical or part # 108221 for horizontal because it can be adjusted to a 12" water column outlet. In order to do this you will need to remove the black cap and turn the valve until the correct pressure is achieved. This will require a flow meter so if you do not have one it will be best to take it to a professional to have done. It is currently set at 11" water column outlet which the manufacturer...

  • Connecting Kenmore LP Dryer to Propane Tank on RV
Thanks for the picture of the LP requirements of your dryer. It uses a standard 10 water column propane pressure rating so the regulator part # 108220 that you referenced is a good start since that is what this is designed for as well. You'll need a pigtail from the tank to the regulator like with the part # 100473-12 which is 12 inches long and then a hose to go from the regulator to the dryer. For a 10 foot hose you'd then want the part # 100202 and that would be all you'd need.

The maximum propane flow capacity of this regulator is 400,000 BTU per hour so it can handle the 18,000 BTU of your Empire wall mount ventless heater. The two stage regulator is also the best option for the heater that is most likely running for extended amounts of time. The inlet of the MB Sturgis propane regulator # 108220 is a 1/4 inch NPT fitting although I'm fairly sure I know why you think it seems to be a 1/2 inch. When reaching out to our friends at MB Sturgis here is how they explain it. If you measure the inside diameter of the female opening you'll get 0.55 inches. NPT fittings like the regulator uses are sized to coincide with the inside diameter of Schedule 40 pipe. So if a 1/4 inch Schedule 40 pipe has a 1/4 inch inside diameter, the outside...
